Awful. I got Charter and have had nothing but problems. First it was the cable, it kept going digital. After about 5 phone calls, they finally sent over someone to fix the problem. Then the internet problems started. Multiple outages for most of the day again and again. Each time I called, they said they were aware of the problem. No one could tell me why. One time it went out for 5 days. Its pretty much a weekly issue at this point. I have crappy cell service at my house so I have a network extender which relies on the internet to work. So every time the internet craps out, my phone does too. Get anything else but Charter. It doesnt matter if its slower or more expensive. Id take anything that just actually worked. Oh, and their HD is terrible and out of date with hardly any channels. By the way, this number is useless. You cant talk to a local person who might understand whats going on, the number just prompts you for an extension.

Internet service is excellent. Phone service is fine. But quality of cable TV is absolutely horrendous. I used to use satellite and despite satellite always being criticized for going out with bad weather, etc, Charters signal quality is the worst by far. In 2 years now with Charter, Ive never ONCE recorded a show with the DVR and not had a glitch, stutter, dropout, etc. Not a single clean recording of even one show ... ever. Horrible horrible quality and reliability. The DVR itself is also way behind the times in terms of features and functions. (Too bad Verizon Fios is not an option in this area - fiber optic is leaps and bounds above traditional cable).

I would give charter 0 stars if I could. The bundle they offer is a joke, my phone either doesnt work at all or the person I am calling can hear me but I cant hear them!!! Forget about streaming video it always pauses and has to catch up!!! Finally their cable, if you like settling for watching channels you dont care about because the ones you do want to watch are all pixeled or frozen then you are all set! I would get rid of them completely but unfortunately I live in an area where they have a monopoly because nothing else is available in my area.

Way over priced! But they are the only Internet company thatll provide for my residential area so Im screwed. Not to mention, my Internet sucks and I have to call the automated system to always reboot it. I get flyers in the mail from spectrum for Internet service costing $14.99 all the time but yet when I call they tell me they are still going by charters prices and to disregard the spectrum flyers which is ridiculous. If I could switch companies I would In a heartbeat

I am stuck using Charter because of where I am at, but the service sucks. My internet is always dropping, and my television cuts in and out randomly. I have missed the ending of several shows that I really enjoy because of this. Whenever I call to complain, I am constantly being told that it is not on their end (its always someone elses fault). Overall my service is terrible and no one seems to want to help at this company. Terrible to way to run a company.

So the Charter guy just came today and he was awesome! Removed a trap on my line that was causing sporadic issues. Jerks in corporate raised my bill even though the said it was not supposed to go up for a year! The staff is nice although in the past they would have one person playing on her computer while the line was backed up. Hopefully, they have addressed how poor that looks to customers.

The young man who installed my cable, and DVR was the best!! I noticed that the TV started freezing, and skipping. I was able to stop him before he left, and he checked the lines, and the box. He found that it was a bad box put a new one in for me, and everythings been fine since. Im also so glad that you are not following Comcast, and still carry the YES channel.

Charter has a total illegal monopoly in the Clinton County area, therefore their prices are sky high ! Nothing you can do put pay their exorbitant prices! They have you by the nuts so shut up and pay up. Their triple play is $150.00. Other cable companies in Vermont where you have competition AND choices are $89.00 for their triple play (phone, TV & internet)

Horribly picture and sound quality. Constant cutting out and skipping/freezing. The worst service around, but the only, so they will never get any better. Cable currently wont come on at all and phone number for them wont work. If I could rate Charter less than 1 star, I gladly would. -5 stars!

The internet went out every afternoon at about 4:00 pm had tech come out at least 8 times could not figure it out. I switched to verizon DSL it may be slower but it is NEVER OUT. I also switched to DirectTv and I pay 68.00 a month never changes.

Charter Internet has usually been fine but as of lately (1 month) it has been nothing but problems especially the internet. The service they provide is fast and a decent price but at the expense of it always cutting is not worth it.

The tv freezes and skips all the time. Ive had nothing but a blank scree for the last hour. Sometimes the voice is faster than the lips. I personally think the whole thing is a scam.
