Feb 2015 Scott came out to give a price on removing snow from our roof & ice from our gutters. We asked for a quote on the area over our front door and all of the roof to the left of that, which was over our great room. After I clearly stated the area to be covered to the person first taking my call, to me telling Scott, and my husband speaking to Scott twice, specifically expressing the area to be treated, the team STILL only did part of the snow removal. The morning of the work Scott showed up for the money and my son signed the contract. At that time my son also, (by my request), reminded Scott we wanted the area over our front door done, continuing to the left of that, over the great room & the gutters. Scott said no problem each time it was mentioned, yet, it did not get done. Only part of the roof over the great room was done and the gutters which I was told would be cleaned out of ice, were still overflowing with packed ice. I called Scott the next day and he told me he would take a look and get back to me. That did not happen. We called a few more times and Scott told us he would check it out and get back to us. He never did and then he stopped answering his phone. We paid $600 to have half of a roof over a great room cleared of snow. The entire time we dealt with Scott, my husband and I were nice and never showed anger, even though we were very upset. We were trying to work with this company. They had our money and we simply wanted the work they promised to be done. That never happened.

I just had a fabulous roof job was a great experience from start to finish. The owner John explained and educated me and my husband on everything that needed to be done.Down to the foreman of the crew wayland take ing the time to explain step by steps as he was doing each step. As he started each new phase and stopped and was patient to answer any of our questions. Down to mike and the laborers on the ground who to the time to make sure all windows and exterior of the house was protected.they even went as far as to build frames around all the bushes and garden were not harmed and are yard looked actually better than when they started.All and all I would like to thank John and his team for making what we thought was going to be Aregous journey and making it an easy and stress free undertaking. I will recommend your company and plan to use you in our future projects. And just so you know your team seem to communicate well and enjoy what they do. Avoid for driveway jobs. I had JJ construction redo my driveway a few years ago and the initial job left a very uneven and bumpy driveway that looked terrible. My initial communications with the customer representative I worked with (Scott) were unanswered and I did not hear back from them until I had to telephone the main office and told them I wanted a refund. They then bypassed me and talked to my wife, and instead redid their original job, which was only a slight improvement. I appreciate the subsequent effort am not out to get this company, but I have had numerous neighbors and other contractors that have looked at this driveway and asked how I had such a terrible job done. I completely regret hiring JJ Construction.

These guys did my roof 10 years ago, and they installed venting as part of it to allegedly prevent ice damming. But in harsh winters, the gutters still back up, and when they do the drip-edge venting they installed works as an overflow. The water runs into the eves and runs down the walls, causing $1800 damage some years back; its doing it again this year, hopefully not as costly. I cant fault their crew; the craftsmanship seems good, they worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. However, given the shortsightedness of the guy that speced the job and their subsequent refusal to acknowledge this was their fault and fix, consider going with a contractor thats responsible about fixing problems they create.

Great service for 10+ years! John and his team are great! They did a complete tear off of the roof on my first house, cleaned our gutters on a regularly scheduled basis, fixed a problem another company caused etc. etc. etc. Theyve continued the excellent service and workmanship on our new home. They plowed and shoveled recently when we were away, and even went so far as to do little things so it would appear we were home every day. I cannot say enough good things about John and this company, I would (and have many times!) recommend them as a roofing and general contracting company. Eric

NO COMMUNICATION. Do not waste your time with JJ Construction - we selected them as our contractor after experiencing major ice damming over the winter. The first two visits were great, Scott was very helpful and informative, but as soon as we signed the contract to give them the job if we were awarded the money from our insurance company, Scott stopped answering his phone. Multiple calls and voicemails on his cell phone along with multiple calls to the office were also ignored. Im thankful we dont have any money tied up in this transaction.

JJ Construction recently replaced our roof and we couldnt be happier. John, the owner came out and inspected the roof and gave us an estimate on the spot. He was very patient and informative and the crew was out within the week to start the job. They were very cautious to cover all of our landscaping and to clean up daily. The roof looks amazing and their team was very polite and professional. I will definetly be calling them when we are ready to replace the siding!

my husband and I had a new roof / complete tear off and new siding installed on our house. The crew worked very efficiently and professional. The sales rep , which was the owner of the company, was very knowledgeable and helped us with colors and went out of his way to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. I was going to use your company fir work until ur worker got into a conversation that I was having with my neighbor. He cane out his mouth and said black people started slavery and immigrants should not be here.. talking like he was KKK. He dont like people of color. I OFFENDED. And ready to take this to the radio station about ur company. Its not about your work its about who are you giving your money to.

We had damage to the inside of our home at the end of this winter from severe ice buildup. We had received quotes from 4 other contractors before signing onto JJ. The guy who came out, Scott,was very friendly, and from what we could tell, fought hard to get the pricing to what we truly needed. Work started a day later than quoted, but the crew was very efficient. We are very pleased with the work.
