Stanford is a genius technician AND incredibly friendly and fun to work with. The only upside to my need for a repair is I get to go down to MacInTak and hang with Stanford for a bit. Hes so knowledgeable, explains everything, is extremely reasonable in his pricing, and sells the Apple products you really need, too. I replaced my lost MacBook Pro power cord with a brand new (Apple) one from MacInTak for almost half the price. Not only did he fix my computer, he gave it back to me impeccably clean and looking nearly new! Hell pull out all the stops to figure out a fix for you. Fantastic service, great prices and strong ethics. Stanford is one of the best business owners Ive met in Rochester.

I have done business with MacInTak for years. Ive purchased at least 2 or 3 desktop computers (refurbished Macs), & now 2 Mac laptops (also refurbished). The equipment is always great, & the friendly extensive service is amazing. Ive never known any other business to go so far in helping & supporting the customer. This is especially important to me because Im basically in the "Computers For Dummies" category. Stan, the owner of the business, is always more than willing to trouble-shoot, explain, tutor, whatever is needed until youre back in gear. These days thats a rare find. I highly recommend this man & his business.

After spilling liquid on my Macbook 2009, and totally destroying my beautiful white gem, I looked all over to find someone to buy up any parts of the destroyed unit that could be useable. Stan was recommended to me by a very reputable computer repair store and he bought the computer and removed my old hard drive for me. I couldnt have been more happy to find someone to recycle any remaining parts . He is a super nice person and I was so happy that he would be able to use some of the parts to refurbish my computer and find it a new home or use any of the parts for someones repairs on their computer.

Rochester was teaching a workshop on music recording for 12-16 year old campers, and we needed every Garageband-running computer we could get. I had just broken my charger, and the spare was hours away. If you buy a used computer from Macintak, you will be getting a machine that is superior to anything you can buy new. Not only are the products great, the service is above anything you can get anywhere else. Stan and his son will go out of their way to help in any way possible, and make sure you walk away feeling knowledgable, and taken care of. Can not recommend enough.

I lived in the south wedge for a long time and never noticed this gem until I needed a new charger for my macbook. I ended up paying about 1/3 of what I had expected and got a warranteed product instead of the stock apple garbage. Long story short, this place is the absolute polar opposite of the dismal customer service Ive come to expect at Apple chains. Cannot recommend enough.
