Jeremiah and his crew did a fantastic job! We had water damage in our dinning room that came through a weak spot in an approximately 1/12 pitch patio roof. This was back in January. We decided to do the entire back half of our roof along with the patio, even though Jeremiah did not push this on us. He was certain about the source of the leak and was the only estimate we got that did not tell us we had to do the whole roof along with the patio. I called around and got five estimates. I liked Jeremiahs proposal and solution for our patio the best out of all the estimates and his price was highly competitive, even though the solution was more long term. His crew was friendly and professional. They tore off three layers of shingles, put down decking, and shingles in three days. The job was done in early April, when there was still snow on the ground, but was warm enough to melt during the days, so I was worried about our lawn and how they would get the debris from the back to the front. There was a little damage, but given the circumstance it was minimal, and Jeremiah even gave us a credit to get the grass repaired. Yorkstate is a great company and I will happily have them come back to do the front half of the roof in the near future. I was very impressed with Yorkstate, and I say this as a son of a general contractor, who did a number of roofs, which I worked on during my summers in high school and college. I highly recommend them!

I needed the roof of my house to be replaced including the breezeway and the garage in Greece, NY. I was looking for a reasonable, reputable, trustworthy roofing company and with the help of a neighbor, I thank God we found the YORKSTATE ROOFING SERVICES. Since my first meeting with the company owner, Mr. Jeremiah Omer, I was very impressed with his extreme professionalism, courtesy, listening skills, polite attitude and expertise. I was very comfortable asking him all the questions I had and he patiently and clearly explained everything to me in full detail including what materials he was going to purchase, use, and how the job was going to be done. Mr. Omer as well as his crew is extremely committed to provide an outstanding and excellent superior service. Mr. Omer’s honesty, fairness, and trustworthiness are well beyond superior. The work on my house was completed within the time frame quoted and the results exceeded my expectations. DO NOT USE YORKSTATE ROOFING! I called these guys to fix a leak in my roof. To make a long story short I was less than impressed by the craftsmanship or behavior of these guys. The first time they showed up their truck left a 4 inch depression in my driveway (they did give my $100 off my $1900 bill for that) They left tons of roofing nails and garbage all over my yard when they left but worst of all the roof STILL LEAKED! So I call them back "well we can get out there in 2 days" they say. 2 days later they show up for 1 hour and re-do some stuff. When it rains the next day THE ROOF STILL LEAKS! Another call another 2 days... Next they installed a cricket around the chimney (which they concluded must be where the water is coming from). well the roof was STILL LEAKING! So I called again... no response... called again... no response. After calling 14 TIMES (both the business line and the owners cell phone) over 2 weeks and leaving messages each time I was told that someone would be out tomorrow. No one ever showed up. I called a few more times, again no response. I was getting so upset I finally gave up and ended up fixing the problem myself. But hey at least I paid $1900 for a new section of roof that I didnt need!

I would highly recommend Yorkstate Roofing to anyone who needs roofing done. I was very impressed with Mr. Omer who gave me an estimate on my repairs. After getting estimates from other companies (salesmen all of them) and then meeting Mr. Omer all I can say is what a difference. No hard sell, no hidden fees, he just told me the truth. The team who did the work is amazing!! They were a very nice group who did their work in a very professional manner. At the end of the first day they cleaned up the work site very nicely, then the next 2 days the same thing. When they left my property actually looked better than when they started, and the 4 roofs I had replaced make the house and garage really look nice. For me theres only one roofing company to deal with and thats Yorkstate. I cant stress this enough.. The project manager Dave is a great guy too. Every day he explained what was going on and the next steps. Yup, only one roofing company to get, Yorkstate Roofing. I would rate them 100 stars if I could.

We decided to go with Yorkstate because we found them to be the most responsive to our initial call and follow up questions, they were the most personable out of several companies we called. We are very happy with the quality of our roof, we went with top of the line materials for a 50 year roof and found their price was extremely fair given other estimates... after having damage from the wind storms we never wanted to replace another roof so long as we live. They tore off 3 layers of old roofing materials and installed the new roof in 1 day! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because there was some siding/window molding that required a follow up visit to adjust which is understandable given the 3 layers thick they had to work off before they could put the new roof down. Their cleanup was thorough after the work was done. I’m also having them take a look at another family member roof and have referred them to a friend.

This is a very professional organization who puts the customer first. The aftermath of our recent wind storm left us with the loss of shingles and a loose air vent. After my call Dave of Yorkstate came out within one day, analyzed the work that was required and scheduled the repair. The two man crew came days earlier than scheduled because Dave was concerned with the loose air vent and the anticipated major snow storm due the next day. Dave also stopped by to check the on the work performed and my satisfaction. Im very satisfied and will use and refer to others in the future.

My experience with Yorkstate Roofing was very good! Jeremiah and his team were professional and courteous. I had several estimates, but Jeremiahs was the most reasonable and the work was quality. They did a complete roof tear down without leaving a mess. I also had my windows and doors replaced by him, and he did a fantastic job! Jeremiah explained everything clearly for me, was easy to talk to, and was reliable. I would and have already recommended Yorkstate Roofing to my friends and family. I am so happy my work was done in a reasonable time frame and my home looks beautiful!
