Guadalupe and hairstylist and assistant, Sam, did my bridesmaids and Is hair for my wedding! I let Guadalupe work his magic and come up with his own creative looks that matched my wedding vision. I gave Guadalupe just a few ideas to work with, and he stepped in and made my bridesmaids look like they walked straight off of the Parisian runway! What a fabulous, unique, and gorgeous job he did! We had no prep or test day before the big day but it was not needed! We got in there and he managed to get it all done (while we had fun chatting, laughing, and getting made up while sipping coffee and mimosas). I was surprised and pleased by the looks he gave each of my girls. They were all different but super beautiful and fitting to each of the girls particular look! When it came time to do my hair, Guadalupe took his time and curled every little strand to make it look perfect! He followed the vision I had for my wedding "do" but surpassed it and created something even more beautiful! Thank you Guadalupe for your amazing skills and thank you Studio Chavarria team and assistants for the excellent work! I couldnt have asked for anything better!

Hillary Small is amazing! Shes super attentive to your needs, and really pays attention to detail . She has a knack for working with your hair and shape to get what youre after. I have a huge mop, and most folks end up making it look like Broom Hilda when theyre finished. Hillary had the expertise to work with my "special needs" head. I no longer fear getting my hair cut! Hillary has also done a few coloring jobs for me and I have to say, never had someone else color my hair before that I felt did it better than I could, until Hillary did! It was worth every penny. Highly recommend her. The salon itself it comfy, lots of great art that rotates every so often. They offer coffee, drinks, etc. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Love visiting there...Always look forward to my appointments. Glad I found them! Every single time I leave there, the parking garage attendants compliment me on my hair. :-)

I truly cant say enough about this salon! My husband and I moved to Asheville almost 2 years ago from Los Angeles and I must say I was nervous about replacing my awesome color and cut girl in LA. I was put to ease pretty fast when I came across Studio Chavarria - the atmosphere is great and I always feel relaxed while there. After finding this awesome salon I then had to decide which stylist to use. I love the ombre look and knew right away when I saw Chelsea Goodes works she was my lady. She nailed my color on the first try and has continued to impress me with her color and cut ability. As many women know its hard to find someone you trust with your lovely locks but I cant say enough wonderful things about Chelsea Goode. Shes a great listener, has an amazing eye and never lets you down on awesome hair. I feel so lucky it didnt take me long to find my new soulmate in the hair world.

I scheduled an appointment with Guadalupe for a trial run of my wedding up-do. On the phone the week before I was quoted $70 for this, but was charged $85 after my style was complete. I understand that some creations require additional time/products and thus require a higher payment, but my entire session lasted under 30 minutes and the only accessories used were bobby pins and thickening/volume products. Regardless, I would have been happy if my hairstyle was superb. It wasnt. I love the sexy, messy look... but honestly it just looked like a mess. The bottom was curled and pinned, but the top seemed to have been forgotten. I was told that this hairstyle would last throughout my wedding day, but it didnt last walking downtown for more than an hour. With that said, I really did like the environment of the salon as well as the friendly nature of the staff. I just wish I hadnt wasted my money.

Chelsea is hands down the best. She understood the fear I had of getting my long hair trimmed and she did not get even the least bit scissor happy. I left the salon with supermodel hair.. Seriously, I took so many selfies afterword. I wont let anyone else touch my hair, even considering flying back to Asheville once I move... Just to have her do my hair again. Also, Sarah the receptionist is a straight up princess! She is so accommodating and has the sexiest phone voice Ive ever heard. Bottom line, Studio Chavarria is where you should go to get your hair done or drink wine or see rad art or have great conversation. It deserves all the damn stars.

Studio Chavarria is the best salon in Asheville, and Guadalupe Chavarria is a true master of his craft. As a local Ashevillian, Ive been to all of the top rated salons at some point over the years, but Guadalupe has kept my business for over 10 years now, and I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. He really can do anything, but what I appreciate is that I always leave the salon looking my best, with a cut and color that bring out the best in me. I always feel polished and put together, and with a look thats easy for me to maintain and style at home. I trust Guadalupes expertise and styling advice implicitly, and hes never let me down!

I rating this salon a 5 out of 5 stars for a couple of reasons; the salon is beautiful, but most important is my stylist Monica...She ROCKS my hair every time! Monica has been styling my hair for awhile & I will continue to drive 2 hours for the excellent service I receive from her! Monica takes her time & listens to what you want and her results are AMAZING!! Monica is very friendly and enjoys getting to know her clients. I dont feel like just another person in her chair- We talk and laugh and every experience is exceptional! Visit Studio Chavarria & ask for Monica- I promise you will be 100% satisfied and look fabulous!

Yesterday I went and got my hair done by Chelsea Goode, I found her by Googling best hair salons in downtown Asheville. Studio Chavarria was first and as I was looking through the reviews, her name was everywhere. Let me tell you...she did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job. I wish I even had the vocabulary to describe how amazing my hair looks right now. And not only that, but I had a blast! She just gained a life long client right here. Thank you thank you thank you for everything you did, Chelsea. If you are looking for a stylist, stop looking and call her. I promise it will be the best decision you ever made.

From the moment that i meet Pam i knew she would not only be a life long friend but my lifelong hairdresser. She listened to every idea i threw at her and made it her own., She can do just about anything!! My hair has never looked so good and healthy. After visiting many other salons i knew her chair was my second home. Her ombre is always on point and her cuts are flawless. I do not recommend anyone else to my friends or family. If you are looking for a hairstylist who listens and takes in everything and comes up with awesome ideas PAM MEASE is your GIRL!!!!
