Hit-or-miss ... mostly miss. Laundromat prices are good: $2 for a normal-sized washer load, $3.50 for the big washers, 25 cents for 10 minutes of dryer time. Ive come on a weekday evening and also midday on a weekday and had no trouble getting machines. No trouble with parking, either--if the spots out front are full, you can park behind the building and use the back entrance. My problem with Regency is their machines. The first time I visited, the washer messed up several dark items with a white powder that took me months to get out. Another time, a different washer left my nearly-new sweaters covered in lint (still trying to salvage those). And *another* washer didnt spin long enough during its final cycle, so I had to wring the clothes out by hand. I always try to check the washers to make sure theyre clean before I use them, and I thought Id done the same with the dryers this last time, but one load came out with glittery sequins on--and in--several items anyway (which Im still finding a month later). I want to like Regency because of its sensible prices. When the machines are clean and working properly, its a cost-effective option. But I shouldnt have to worry that when my clothes come out of the washer/dryer, theyll look worse than when they went in!

The quality of the cleaning can be inconsistent, but the kind service and the fact that they accept so many different types of payment make it a good spot that I return to often. Sometimes a stain remains on a shirt or suit, but typically my clothes are cleaned and pressed well. You can drop off before 10 AM and receive your clothes after 5 PM same day, I believe. Usually I just pick them up a day or two later. I do not come in that often, maybe once ever couple of weeks, but one of the regular folks who works there always remembers me and makes pleasant small talk, which is appreciated. They accept all sorts of credit cards and even Apple Pay and Android Pay. They also have a rewards program that grants you $5 off your next visit after you build up a certain number of points. They even track it in their computer system for you so it is really easy to get the discounts. Also features a drive-thru option for drop-off and pick-up. I do not think this necessarily speeds things up that much but if you just cannot get out of the car or there is no parking (the lot is small), then it makes things convenient. Another small complaint: no same day or next day service on weekends because they are open only for abbreviated hours on Saturdays.

There is no standardization in item categories/pricing which leads to differing prices depending on which staff enter your item. If you question a charge, a manager must review/change it, taking 10+ mins to fix. Its a time-suck that leaves the customer feeling nickeled and dimed. In my last order HALF of the items I have picked up/paid for required additional pressing. I called the manager who offered a free re-do, but this means another drop-off/pick-up errand. The whole point of dry-cleaning is not having to deal with laundry. Take your clothes to this place, and youre guaranteed to deal with some issue . Suggested improvements: (1) guidelines/staff training that support pricing standardization (2) Free pick-up and drop-off service for re-dos at no expense/inconvenience to the customer.

I had a 60% WHITE wool coat that had accidentally gotten grease from a leftover container spilled on it. The stain set it in overnight so I had low hopes that it would come out when I dropped it off at Regency Cleaners. Low and behold, when I went to pick it up a few days later the stain was miraculously gone! THEN, while visiting Charleston, SC someone spilled RED wine all over the back of the WHITE coat. Days went by. I stopped by to drop it off again at Regency and the owner/manager asked me if I could leave the coat a couple of days for him to work on. Sure enough, NOT ONE RED SPOT STAIN was on the coat when I picked it up! I was shocked, grateful, and so very, very happy. I would highly recommend Regency Cleaners!

I just found my new regular dry cleaner. At 11:30 am today I found out I needed to leave early tomorrow for an event that would require my suit, which needed cleaning. I called Regency, knowing that I was way past their deadline of 10 am for same-day service. The woman who answered the phone couldnt have been nicer. She repeated their policy, but understood my plight, and found a way for them to get my suit into their schedule. With service like that, you know I will be back!

I love this laundromat. They have great prices ($2 washing machines, and the dryers are $.25 for 7-8 minutes) and it is never crowded. I havent had any problems with my clothes getting ruined by the machines. Ive been going to this place for a couple months now.

If you value your clothes, find another dry cleaner! 3 out of 4 of the items I dropped off came back ruined. Enter at your own risk.
