It was late in the afternoon when was writing my doctoral research dissertation. All of the sudden, the keyboard on my laptop stopped responding. I contacted Lester at the office. He was courteous patient, and the consummate professional while I went down a list of rapid-fire questions about what my problem might be, what it might cost to fix, and how much time it would take. Considering my experience on the phone, I immediately went in to see him. He quickly diagnosed my problem, and replaced my keyboard while I waited--it probably took less than ten minutes. Then, Lester (A Marine Corps Veteran), noticed my military ID in my wallet when I took out my card to pay him. In appreciation for my service, he discounted his price which I already considered fair, considering the work being done and the short turn around that I was requesting. I was more than pleased: Completely satisfied. I assure all readers that my review is completely authentic--I write reviews often--not all of them as favorable as this one. Feel free to look up my other reviews. Lester has earned my business. I humbly recommend him and his shop to anyone who wants rapid, professional service at a fair price.

I am usually not one to post reviews, however I feel like everyone needs to know what I have dealt with. My acer laptop is broken(the hinges are starting to break, and the back of the laptop has started to crack). I brought it in, and they knew exactly what was wrong, so I felt confident it would be a quick fix. He told me it would take a week to fix, however we are now on week 4 and I still do not have my laptop. They have not been keeping me updated with what is happening, and I have had to make numerous phone calls to see whats going on. This business is almost impossible to get in contact with, and they are extremely unprofessional. They have their hours posted on their door, however I went to stop by today and it was locked and no one was in there. I have called numerous times, and have had no luck. Do NOT use this place, it is not worth the inconvenience and stress!!

My computer was on the down and outs with an old operating system, my printer not syncing with wifi and a bunch of junk slowing down the system. After what seemed like a day of trying to fix the problem myself, I decided to call Affordable On-Site Repair. I talked with Lester and he listened intently to my issues without any interruptions. We decided it best for him to meet me at my house whereupon he would diagnose the issues. Immediately he started finding the issues that plagued my computer. Lester was extremely methodical in troubleshooting my computer as well as making suggestions to give it life for another 6 years. He had my computer upgraded, printer connecting with wifi and cleared all my junk out of my computer in no time. Very nice, sincere gentleman. I most highly recommend this man for your computer needs.

Contacted Affordable Repair and spoke with Lester. I needed a specialized computer worked on. He said he could do everything no problem. I asked him to install extra USBs as well as a WiFi card. He ended up conducting $500 worth of "repairs" that I am skeptic needed to be completed in the first place. After he installed an entirely new motherboard on my computer he found a loose connection that was probably the original issue to begin with. He brought it over, hooked it up. Suprise no WiFi card. I now have a $5,000 paperweight in my home. I have limited time and the reason why I sought a "professional." Money or price was no object...and still could not do what i asked. What a waste of time and money. Move a long and find another repair service.

My computer broke two weeks before I was suppose to move back into college. I contacted Affordable On-Site Computer Repair a week before I had to leave and they went out of their way to help me. Odericus met me in my home town to pick up my computer and worked diligently on fixing it. Upon discovering that it would be in my best interest to transfer my software and data to another computer, he got me an awesome deal on a used computer and got it set up before my classes started. He did all of this for a very reasonable price and I couldnt be more pleased.

Great service in a timely manner....The IT tech. fix my computer screen in no time. I didnt have to drop it off or wait hours for it to be done. He was very helpful and friendly...His work ethics are outstanding.... The cost of service was so unbelievable...Compared to other computer repair shops this one beats hand down. Probably the best and most professional customer service I have ever received. I had a cracked computer screen right before a holiday weekend and right before a national sales meeting I had to attend. Odericus not only came out the same day to assess the problem, he had a special screen overnighted and returned on a Sunday afternoon to ensure that my computer would be repaired before my trip. It was a life-saver. I would not go anywhere else in Greensboro or High Point for my computer repair needs.

i trusted these five star reviews before i called and made a schedule to fix my computer. the tech came and repaired(?) my computer, but then my computer went wrong again(just locked itself up) next day. then i called him again and he promised me to come to my place, but he never showed up and picked up his phone either(i actually called and texted him more than 10 times). now, i can tell all these full star reviews are fake.

I had dropped my computer and messed my screen up completely!! I went in on Tuesday he gave me an extremely reasonable price (hundreds of dollars cheaper than Geek Squad) and told me my computer would be fixed by Thursday. Come Thursday my computer screen was repaired and I was also able to purchase a new and needed charger! Extremely nice! Extremely affordable!
