THE INTERNET CONSISTENTLY GOES OUT EVERY NIGHT OR EVERY OTHER NIGHT AT THIS POINT AT THE PRIME TIMES 6PM, 9PM, 1AM, 3AM, CALL THERE IS NO OUTAGE, EXPLAIN THE ISSUE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND IT IS THE ROUTER THAT HAVENT CHANGED YET THEY HAVE CHANGED. THEY ARE HORRID IN EVERY SINGLE WAY!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE CONSISTS OF SPEAKING TO SOMEONE WHO CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOU OR DOES NOT CARE TO THE DEGREE YOU ARE TOTALLY DISREGARDED, THE ONLY THING THEY LISTEN TO IS NO REALLY I AM LEAVING THIS TIME THEN SUDDENLY THEY WILL REDUCE RATE BUT ONLY $20 SAME THING EVERY 6 MONTHS AND BTW IF YOU DROP CABLE JUST KNOW THAT YOUR INTERNET BILL WILL GO FROM $20 TO $80!!!! THEY ARE DISGUSTING AND WE SHOULD HAVE BETTER OPTIONS! THE EQUIPMENT IS SO OUTDATED AND I HAVE TO PRESS A BUTTON FOR ANYTHING CHANGE CHANNEL, PULL UP GUIDE AT LEAST 5 TIMES UNTIL IT WORKS AND IVE TRIED STANDING RIGHT UP ON IT AWAY ALL SORTS OF CRAZY CONTORTIONS, NOTHING. IT IS JUNK. THEY KNOW IT THEY DO NOT CARE. CHANGE YOUR REMOTE YOU SAY? DOES NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE! SAME ISSUES FOR YEARS! IVE HAD THEM FOR THE LAST 15+YEARS AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR THAT! WE NEED OTHER OPTIONS AND THEY NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. ITS THE GOOD GUY THAT ENDS UP THAT WAY AND THESE PEOPLE THAT MAKE THE BUCKS. Customer service is impossible to work with. First you have to run through the gauntlet of clunky and horribly slow automated interrogation only for the system to not be able to offer any help and then direct your call to the wrong person. Once you do start talking to a human, theyll realize they cant help with your problem and then youll be put on hold again. After you finally start talking to the correct person, theyll again interrogate you with pointless questions about your information just to fill out their case file forms with all your information so that they can offer services you dont want and send you mail to throw away. Finally, theyll read through a large amount of scripted responses and offers that will make you want to throttle a puppy. After you attempt to calmly sit through 15 to 20 minutes of a phone call youll finally realize that Time Warner Cable is the herald of the apocalypse and that they cant, nor would they, offer you any assistance. You may then threaten to cancel your account in the meek effort to lower your bill that they promised wouldnt go up, or to have them stop ham stringing you for spotty service. All this applies to the local Huntersville branch as well. Its like they took their business model from the DMV and tried to make it even more hell-like. Cant wait for AT&T to solve some of my problems with their service before they become the antichrist of Internet providers in the area. Hooray!

Updated 7/19/17 First, Google refuses to change this listing to the proper name, which is Spectrum. Time Warner Cable no longer exists, but Google keeps rejecting my edit. Ill keep submitting it until they accept it. Second, its a shame that so many people complained about Time Warner. You didnt know when you had it good. Spectrum is rapidly raising the prices and reducing the services that Time Warner offered. I hope youre happy with it. 300mbps internet? No more. Spectrum doesnt believe customers want speed, so their max speed is 100mbps, and it costs more than twice what Time Warner charged for it. They are doing the same to the cable services as well. Oh, and dont threaten to cancel to get a deal. They dont respond to that either. Im leaving my old review of Time Warner for reference. They were awesome, but Spectrum BITES. Ive had Time Warner since Road Runner was in beta testing in the Charlotte area, and I have NEVER had a bad experience or a long delay with their customer service. I think most of the people complaining are trying to put something over on the system or get something for nothing, and throwing a tantrum when they dont get it. The folks in the Huntersville office also do an amazing job.

Was a customer of TWC for 1 day and cancelled. Signed up for internet and it was problem after problem. #1 their system had our house facing the wrong direction (its on a corner lot) so the address for our house was on the other street facing the wrong way which caused all kind so of issues (hours on hold and talking to representatives.) Agreed to have a tech come out and asked 3x if I would be charged for it and was told no each time. #2 Tech arrived this morning and asked first for COD of $87.00 before he would do anything. (more time on hold and talking to reps) #3 The best they would do was delay the charge till our first months bill (oh thanks) so I just told them forget it cancel the whole thing, if this is what the first day or service is like than no thanks. #4 After being on hold again and trying to explain to reps the whole story it came up that my monthly bill would have been $57.00 not $34.00 so no sure what that was all about. All in all the reps I spoke with seemed to be doing their best and were very nice, as was the tech who came to the house (very nice and understanding guy) but this company is garbage, stay away.

Terrible, impossible, horrible, unsatisfied, waste of time. There CEO Robert D. Marcus is a illusionist who manipulates numbers to over value the companys worth. While he rakes in annual salary of 8.5 million, they cant even afford to properly train there employees in customer service. They dont understand the value of psychological customer satisfaction or proper communication. If they simply worked on doing what they should they would see more profit. Most of the customer service providers I have talked to have been very poor at communication they deliberately distort or withhold information, they play games and evade direct answers. The most common thing they do is place you on hold then transfer you to someone else. So you have to explain your whole story information all over again. There Customer service is the worst I have ever personally experienced. AT&T provides more options and faster service I cant wait for GOOGLE Fiber to come and take some of there customer base. If you were considering TWC (please do yourself a favor and Dont).

Cant stand TImeWarner as a company. Havent been to this store yet but I wanted to note how terrible of a company it is so that others can steer clear and save themselves headaches and possibly even an aneurysm or two. Loyal customers get treated like crap. Youre bill will slowly creep up and then when you call in to question why its gone up without any notice, they make up a bunch of BS. Then when you threaten to leave they somehow can cut your bill nearly in half...funny how that works. Once I did a speedtest before calling in for a random bill increase, called them out on not getting the speed of internet I was paying for, they put me on hold for a minute or two, came back and asked me to run the speed test again and it all worked the way it should. I look forward to the day that I can liberate myself from this company completely and not be forced to go with them because theyre the only half decent service available in the area. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this terrible company if you can.
