Nothing about my dealing with Hargrays Customer Service has been positive! Alexis who claims to be 1 of 2 in office in Beaufort S.C. has left me actively seeking a new Cable/Internet Service provider with trained CS and professionalism! I receive a call back this morning after paying my bill online and not seeing it reflected. First it was explained explained payment was received but not showing up online. Of course this I know because Hargray payment deducted from bank account. All the reason for my urgency in trying to contact Hargray by phone (you already know unsuccessful). I emailed. Instead of call being SHORT and SWEET I am told by Alexis I would be receiving an extension(1of 4 allotted for the year). My question, Why would I need an extension since my bill is paid? This Alexis person states my service will be interrupted without extension...only 2 people in her office...at least they called me...All her unnecessary from mouth or a** comments after the call should have ENDED were UNPROFESSIONAL and UNNECESSARY! Alexis aka Rudeness ended the call (or so I thought) with Have an Awesome Day. I call out to a family member and coworker to speak of this poor experience and to my Horror Alexis starts to TALK AGAIN! She even repeated her name 3 more times. Im still unclear on her point except to solidify Hargrays 1 star rating! WhO needs this on a MONDAY MORNING AFTER DRIVING A SCHOOL BUS FULL OF CHILDREN? The children definitely prevailed with being polite and courteous!

I will NEVER recommend Hargray to anyone ever! They are the worst provider Ive ever used. It seems that our bill kept increasing every few months with new taxes and fees and we were already paying a crazy amount of money for a slow internet that didnt even work on my laptop (which they told me wasnt picking up internet signal because it had a virus..WRONG, I now have centurylink and it works just fine.) I also have used my laptop with road runner internet and it also works fine, they lie. Then they tried to charge us to have someone come out because their internet wasnt working, not our fault. Customer service was also rude almost every time I called. The cable they provided hardly worked and when it did the history channel would never have sound, but every other channel would. I always had to restart the cable box in order to get it to turn on and to use the on demand channels that also never really worked. Basically if you can avoid hargray I advise you do. I have recently moved out of SC and now use directv and love it!

I cannot stand this company. Years ago we had Hargray and loved them. They were small then. Now, since they have taken over Charter, who I thought was the worst prior to Hargray, Hargray has taken the title of worst cable company I have had. For one thing their prices are ridiculously high for what you get. eg. poor picture quality of standard def TV to get you to purchase HD which still sucks. I got rid of their TV service and went with DISH whom which I am very happy with. I pay more for slow, spotty internet with Hargray than I pay for a premium TV package with DISH. I hope to find a new ISP worth getting so I can get rid of Hargray once and for all. Also with Hargray, you need to watch your bill closely. They love to sneak charges in. I hope the BBB catches up with them and there is a huge class action suit.

If I could give 0 stars I would because Hargray doesnt deserve even 1 star! Horrible costumer experience! Service provided is the worst on this planet! Ive never seen anything like it! This company has so many shady deals around the island and bluffton area, so you are stuck with them, paying the highest price in the country for the worst internet service! The internet at my house drops so many times a day, I cant even count how many times we have to reset the modem. We dont have a choice because they are the only company in this area. It should be considered a monopoly! They leave you without a choice. Ive never seen anything like this in any other parts of the country! What they are doing should be illegal, but they pay the right people off!!!!!! Wish I had never moved to this area to have to deal with those scumbags!

The customer service is horrible if you go to the Beaufort store the three ladies are the rudest people I guess they forget they are paid to serve you they speak as If they are uneducated they are more concerned about talking about the customers when they leave the store so be careful when you enter and leave the Beaufort store its not a good place I would say if you can get cable internet somewhere else it would be a good idea plus they recently went up on the bills to better pay employees which is a joke pay them to talk bad about customers and you wait in line or on the phone for 15 minutes Hargray is a joke we should not keep them in business

I will never recommend Hargray to anyone! The internet goes down constantly, the television channels will come in and out and they have the audacity to charge me ridiculous prices. We are supposed to have 10mbps internet and I cannot even run my laptop and my DVD player (which gets Netflix via the internet) at the same time! Are you kidding me?! What exactly am I paying for here? Im on my way to the location on Robert Smalls Pkwy right now to let them know that I have written this review and to turn in my cable box/modem...not that theyre useful in any way, shape or form.

Ugh. Subpar overpriced cable/internet service. Customer service is hit or miss...usually miss. They obviously have no clue what they are doing since they just had to complete an audit and remove channels people were getting that shouldnt have been AND adding channels they should have. After two years (!!) was thinking one of my favorite channels was included with our package. It was deleted overnight:(. Something as basic as The Destination channel well, actually many basic channels they want to offer as add-on bundles. Its so ridiculous. Im shopping around now.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer Service! Had service with them less than 5 days, placed a call to CS about wireless router not working properly, CS got me to tech support, tech support got it working, every & I mean EVER 2 months we have had the SAME problem with the router, tech support wants the router replaced however CS refuses since the warrenty is only 30 days!! Did I mention our first problem was within the first 5 days of service?!?!?! I mean really???!!! We spend almost $200.00 a month for TV & Internet & they wont replace THEIR crappy equipment?

Just spoke with Kaira (sp?) and had to repeatedly ask her to stop talking over me. And of course all her managers were busy. Extremely bad customer service and Im more than upset that they have such (recent) bad reviews. Had I seen those reviews when I signed up, I wouldve steered clear! Really wish there were more companies in Beaufort that offer internet. Centurylinks service sucks when youre homeschooling and working from home. Now I can add Hargray to that list. Any other companies that offer quality internet, speed and price??
