I had my things in storage for 3 months here. When I was unloading a box 2 days ago, I found a DEAD RAT in one of my boxes. Rat droppings also all over my unit. When I confronted the office about it, they never apologized, danced around the topic and basically said they couldnt prevent pests since the units are locked. The man also claimed that pests are the reason that they require you to insure your units...which is ridiculous. I said I wanted to move out (obviously. I wasnt going to be sticking around to find more dead rats among my things) and asked for the prorated amount to be refunded, to which the man informed me that they dont prorate when you move out. I paid a whole months rent to only use 17 days of the month. (The man said they operate the same as apartments- that apartments dont prorate months when you move in/out, to which I responded that they actually DO prorate you when you move in/out, and I would know that since I had just moved to a new apartment two days earlier, but he was just trying to justify his point with something that he clearly knows nothing about, making him look even less knowledgable than he did in the first place). All of this is unacceptable. Staff in the office has never been friendly and Ive felt unwelcome each time Ive had to approach them about something. I will take my business elsewhere. I feel that for almost $100 per month I should not have to worry about rats roaming around my storage unit. Thats unsanitary and honestly inexcusable and unacceptable on so many levels.

I highly recommend Life Storage if you need storage. I have been using them for many years. The facility has changed names several times and ownership but I always get great service. The facility is clean and secure and I feel comfortable using it to store my items. I use climate controlled spaces and they are very good at maintaining a safe temperature. The rates are very competitive and you can us set up for auto-pay or pay in advance so you dont have to worry about remembering to pay the bill each month. They do require you insure your unit but you can bring proof of your own rental policy (which typically cover storage too up to a certain amount) and are not required to purchase their policy. Even with all the other storage facilities, they tend to keep their spaces rented but you can check online for availability. They also let you use their truck to move in which is really nice.

I just wanted to thank the staff, in particular Tia, for excellent service. When the new computer software caused a difference in payment than I was quoted, she would not give up until the numbers matched up. In todays world, some people are quick to say, "Well, thats what my computer is showing," but Tia was diligent in resolving this discrepancy. She made several calls, including the manager, and ensured the problem was eliminated. Also, on the following day when I picked up the free moving truck they provided, Wendy was a breath of fresh air to make the entire experience stress free. I have stored at this location several times in the past 3 to 4 years. I always come back because of the customer service that I receive from Wendy. She is polite, professional and genuinely cares. She always waves to you or stops and says hello while out on the grounds. She makes our moving process smooth and the follow up call she gives to make sure everything went ok, is great. I am currently storing again with a friend and I have recommended this Uncle Bobs location to family and friends. You will walk in a stranger but walk out with a new friend.

Wendy at Uncle Bobs Storage is exceptional. She catered to our every need. The prices here are the best and the free use of the moving truck was one of the deciding factors in using this facility. I was quoted a price online when I arrived the woman who worked there told me I would be paying a different price than what was quoted and she had not even look up my reservation her eyes where bloodshot and she smelled like she had been drinking her name is wendy and she asked me to leave.
