Just left this storage facility and received a notice and several voice mails from the property telling me that I owed additional storage fees after vacating the premises. I called several customer service lines and got the runaround. All around rude customer service when trying to resolve the issue. I eventually spoke to the district manager who was helpful in resolving my issue after speaking to many customer service reps who told me they could not help me because my account was already considered closed. The property is kept pretty clean, but I arrived on several occasions to find the gates wide open for hours at a time allowing anyone to drive in and out without a code. I moved outside the area for several months at the end of my lease and the office almost never answered the phone when I called (at least a dozen times), so I would not recommend using this facility unless you live nearby and can stop in to speak to someone in person. All around a frustrating experience that I would not care to repeat.

Ive been a customer here for over a year but wanted to downsize, and was not sure of the size unit I could go to. . I spoke with Darrell on the phone and then went to the office the next day to go through the details. Upon entering the office, Darrell (whom I have never met before) greeted me immediately. Being welcomed and spoken to first as the customer. is important to me and sets the tone. Darrell is enthusiastic, patient, explained everything well and gets things done quickly. Youve hired a real gem. The office is clean (Ive only been in their twice), I have never really had an issues there. Only suggestions I have are that: the signage to the entrance coming from downtown should be more visible. Second, the entry code sure is long.

We havent had a bad experience with the storage unit itself but pretty upset with late charge. The storage unit is actually my fathers and three weeks ago he passed away. We have had the unit for a long time and have always paid. We have spent a lot of money with them. I have been left with handling the bills since my mom cant and doing so everyone has been very understanding why they were late since my dad passed away. I went to the storage unit to pay the bill and was charged a late fee. That was very classy on their part. Needless to say I will be cleaning out the unit as soon as possible.

I was in Public Storage on March 21, 2014, and was greeted with smiling, friendly faces ready and eager to help. I needed packaging, wrap and tape for sending a large package and Brenda and Darrell were both so helpful in helping me get just the right size box and the necessary supplies to send a package by UPS. Brenda was helpful in showing me how best to wrap the package. I know this is probably over and above their normal duties, but I so appreciated their help and I will let others know about your good and polite services. Thank you, again, Brenda and Darrell.

I have today closed out my PS unit after some 8 years of residence. Over that time, I moved among three different units, as my capacity needs grew and shrunk, and the place was like a second home to me. Although the rules could be strict (e.g. if you dont pay by the 20th, you better get a new lock), they were always enforced humanely and flexibly. Every site manager I dealt with was courteous and professional, but Ray, the current manager, is a true gem, who guided me through one payment issue and my closeout with the utmost care.

I worked with Kandy at Public Storage to arrange our reservation and move into the facility. While we ended up having to change facilities due to no availability of a larger climate control unit, she was beyond lovely to work with. She was professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind. I had no problems and wish I could have rented from her. Kandy ensured that I had a positive experience, despite us not being able to rent at her facility. Thanks for your help, Kandy! Ray was very helpful to me as I checked in the facility. He described all my options, gave me choices, both during my process today, and also for the future. I appreciated his genuine friendliness, and will not hesitate to come to him if/when I have questions. Which I did - Later, when I needed more space. Ray set it all up, with a few papers, answered all my questions, and really made me feel good. A good guy, and He keeps a clean and efficient place with the best prices in the area..

Very straight forward and transparent here. No "hidden fees" for anything. I didnt feel pressured into any up sales that werent needed. I went in, told them what I needed, and that was that. This place knows how to do business! Darrell (not sure of spelling) is awesome! He answered all of my questions and I had ZERO issues. Theres no point in looking anywhere else. I have rented a space from Public Storage for over 2 years off Atlantic Ave. in Raleigh, N.C. The customer service is great at this location. I have spoken to Jerry Curry on numerous occasions and anytime that Ive had a problem; Jerry has always been able to resolve it immediately. He is very accommodating and always willing to go the extra mile for you. Jerry runs the place very well! And provides excellent service, indeed! Thank you so much Jerry!

I arrived at the facility only a fw minutes before closing time. Still, the site manager, Darrell, did not hurry me at all. he took the time to explain all the rules involved in renting space, showed me the different units available, helped with the insurance paperwork and provided me with a lock. All while his ride home was waiting patiently for him.I was very impressed by his friendly, yet professional demeanor.

Kandy is amazing at what she does and takes so much pride in her position! All the ladies are so nice even another property manager that was helping the one day I was there. At first there was a mistake made but Kandy handled it very quickly and professionally! I would recommend them to anyone looking for GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Customer service is good. The district manager sucks!!! He wont give u time or arrangements to pay. Even though youre going through hard times as in getting laid off from your job and cant pay. They should give people arrangements to pay so they wont lose their stuff they work so hard for. Karma will be knocking at his door!!!! I wouldnt recommend anyone to use this storage.

I absolutely love this location. My unit is actually in Las Vegas, but I come in this location to make my payments. The site is always clean and the staff always greet me with a smile. Anytime I have question or need clarity on anything, they are always so helpful. I would recommend Public Storage and this location to anyone looking for nice place to store their items.

I only needed storage for a short time, but they were great. Great when I was checking in and gracious as I was leaving. Great location, and as I compared everywhere in the area near them, they had the best selection of lockers and the best prices. On top of that, they had great customer service. If I need short term storage again, I will be going back!
