This was my first time renting a storage unit and I found the experience to be really easy. I initially ordered a storage unit at the Geer street location and was able to view the storage room that day. Due to a clerical issue, I switched to a different storage unit in Durham that was actually a bit cheaper. Both of the units were clean and well maintained. They gave me a lock for the unit and were very helpful giving me directions to the facility and to my unit. Kristen was really helpful and gave me great guidance on the size storage unit I would need for the belongings in my apartment. As it was my first move, I appreciated her attentiveness to my needs. I have been pleased with my experience thus far.

This storage company is actually really professional, and we have pretty high standards! When we called initially to inquire, the phone rang through to the actual local on-site office, not a national number, which meant we could actually talk details with the person on the phone which was a big help. Katie was really helpful and knowledgable. They have a good system for allocating your access code and storage unit so you can remember it. You can also pay premiums online which is convenient. I really like that I can call and have my questions answered by a helpful person when I need it. I would highly recommend this company for your storage.

Been looking for a storage and I went in on Saturday. The person working... I think her name was Jewel was extremely friendly and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. She wasnt pushy or too aggressive. I was also really impressed with how clean the grounds and the units I saw were! Even though this facility is really not convinient to where I live I dont want to take a chance on finding something closer but the people arent friendly. I will definitely be back when I am ready to get a storage unit... Ms. Jewel is truly a jewel!!

I came in yesterday to ask about somewhere good to eat. There were two ladies there. The black lady was very friendly and made some suggestions on good places to eat. I truly appreciate that considering I was not renting a truck or getting a storage. It is good to see that there are still some people who give great customer service no matter what. If I ever need a storage or truck I will definitely come see Ms. Jewel (I think that was the black ladys name). Thank you Ms. Jewel for being nice, helpful and friendly!!

Security Self Storage made my my moving experience so much less stressful. They are super responsive over email, and in person they are friendly, professional, and helpful. I was set up with my storage unit very quickly, and when I needed to rent another one (after figuring out I needed more space), it only took another 20 minutes and I had immediate access! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs storage; theres a great selection of units and reasonable pricing.

We just moved to Durham yesterday (Saturday). I needed to rent a storage unit on Sunday and start moving household goods immediately. Alexa and Jordan were very, very accommodating and rented me an immaculate 10x10 climate controlled unit, with lock, during a 10-minute phonecall. Great experience moving into my storage unit! Multiple confirmations of move in date prior to my arrival, which was reassuring and took out some of the stress of moving. Bridgette was incredibly friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions about the facility and my unit - overall a very positive experience! Jessica responded to my web inquiry very quickly and Quentin in the office was extremely professional and helpful in setting up the unit. The property is large, and there are many options/sizes of units. Units are on the ground level and easily accessible, and are nice and standard in size, cleanliness, etc. Close to I-85, nice staff, well-priced; would recommend this place.

When I could not get the size storage I wanted at another location, they referred me to the E. Geer St. location. Diedra was very knowledgeable and efficient in setting me up with a storage unit. Very happy to receive the free lock. When we moved the furniture into the unit on a Sunday, there were no hiccups. The unit was move-in ready.

I have used several storage units owned by other companies in Raleigh-Durham area, but here is the best. The staffs are very polite and super helpful. The price is lower. The facility is clean and maintained well.
