I was a loyal customer for about 2 years. I loved it, they were nice and didnt take advantage of their customers. And all of a sudden I come in for an oil change and inspection (the inspection didnt pass due to a tail light no big deal I would have fixed it). Regardless, they quoted me $60 for a synthetic blend oil change. Across the street they do a synthetic blend oil change and a tire rotation for $39.99. I think its ridiculous that as a loyal customer they gave me an overpriced quote. I had to bargain for $47 after he looked back in my account to verify I had previously been charged a cheaper price. In addition, there was no tire rotation. If this situation hadnt already upset me, when I got my car back I had to dispose of the floor cover for them. It seems simple but Im of the firm belief that you return things how you got them. Having to pick up after a mechanic in my car is unprofessional. Im just overall disappointed with how they treat long term customers and I hope this review helps others. Needless to say, I will be finding elsewhere to take my car for services.

These guys truly have the Midas touch, as everything they fix becomes pristine and your pockets remain lined with gold. After understanding your problem, they will inspect the vehicle for the described issues. If anything is found, the mechanic does not proceed with more labor and repairs; instead, he is more than willing to bring the customer into the shop to demonstrate and display the problem openly. In short, there is an emphasis on transparency here, which is extremely important and essential in todays world of complex vehicular mechanics. Therefore, if the repair is going to cost too much for your budget, you have the option to decline the repair for the time being, and then come back at a more convenient time. The people are friendly, the service is honorable, and you wont regret bringing your car here.

The Midas car care center on Capital Blvd is great. I had my car inspected there today and they turned it around in 10 minutes and did not hesitate to accept when I presented a coupon. Upon completing the inspection, I asked Mas(on?), the mechanic, for some insight on a few non-critical issues that Id been having with the car. His advice was straightforward and the quote was very reasonable. There was no pushing to commission labor nor any "your cars gonna breakdown unless..." threats. Just kind, refreshing, true service. Doug, the manager, was very receptive when I called to schedule an appointment. Overall, the experience (as riveting as car service can be) was excellent. I highly recommend this Midas.

I normally stay away form chain service centers since most of the time they have an agenda to do more work than needed. Thankfully this Midas is run by honest folks. I went in for a standard oil change (which is reasonably priced) and got a nice report of the condition of the rest of the car systems, and a consultation from the report what needs attention soon. BUT the best part was that they did not try to pressure me into doing anything besides the service I asked for. No one likes to walk out of a store paying more than they thought, and these guys get that. I second other peoples reviews- Chris behind the desk does a great job with customer service.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while! Everyone at this Midas is amazing. When I first moved to Raleigh, I took my car here for an oil change and when I got back they had asked if I wanted to change the filter. I asked if I really needed it and they said no...that was the first step of me trusting them! Ever since then both me and my husband had brought our cars there, they fixed everything and were more than accommodating when we had questions. They would show us the problem and take their time explaining what needed to be done and why. I wish when we moved out of state we could have taken them with us!

I drop my car off @ 7am like the manager told me. They never called me about my car. I had to keep calling them. When I came to get my car @ 1pm. Nothing was done. They just looked @ the problem. The bold head guy was very rude and sarcastic. Not a good look when Im spending my hard earned money.. And I was just there the day b4 for a oil change and a motor for my window. Spending $500+ with them. They labor and parts are over priced. I need a exhaust manifold and 2 timing solenoid !! They price was $2451.03

I came into have my brakes worked on and the young lady who was upfront spent more time in the back talking to the tech that was supposed to be working on my car. It made the whole process of getting the work done there truly upsetting. I have better things to do then have my breaks worked on the whole thing could have went a whole lot faster if she would have let the mechanics work and stop talking about nothing.. I will never go here again and I wouldnt recommend my worst enemy to get service there

Very good honest repair shop. Have 5 vehicles and there is always something to fix. Most of the small repairs I do myself. But when I cant, I trust these guys.. Brad and Seth are right on top of their game. Make the appointment or you will wait a long time. I just drop of car for the day of service. good place, fair prices as can be expected for car repairs.

Amazing service saved me money too! Appreciate the honesty of the techs. I went in to get my exhaust replaced and the service professionals were able to just replace the muffler and tail pipe and save me a bunch of money. Another shop had told me the whole thing had to go and midas was honest with me. Appreciate everything theyve done here, great place!

Pretty much a rip off like most chain places. Dropped the car off for an oil change and "surprise" theres $1100 of maintenance they should do. No thanks, I can do it myself, just looking for convenience not to be taken advantage of. If youre looking for a place that will just give you an oil change when you only ask for an oil change, look elsewhere.

Theses guys were slower than molasses in January. It took more than 20 minutes for someone to come help me with my car, and I was the only one there at the time! And this is not the first time Ive encountered terrible service here. Needless to say I will not be returning and I recommend if you are looking to have your car serviced go anywhere else.

Was having a used car looked over before purchasing by Seth and he did a phenomenal job! Pointed out everything that was wrong with the car and even broke down what it would cost to repair each individual thing! Great service and would recommend to anyone!
