These guys are awesome. After having let go of two E-classes in the past (due to maint costs), I knew I wanted another Benz but was worried about finding a reliable shop. Im new to the area and had a friend recommend the Car Place. Greatest lead Ive ever followed. After buying a used SLK, I brought it here for a rundown (didnt know about their prepurchase deal. Definitely going to utilize that in the future). Jessie and Chris gave me a fair, quick, and honest rundown of everything Id need, and they got to work. After two days, I picked it up, but it wasnt quite right. I took it home anyway with a plan to bring it back later. In the three weeks between trip one and two to the shop, I got a phone call and a card thanking me for my business and checking up on the cars condition. Now, after picking it up again, the guys really outdid themselves. Found the problem, fought it out with the warranty company (saved me over $1k), fixed everything splendidly, AND replaced a part (at no cost to me) that may have already been broken. These guys are awesome - friendly, thorough, reliable, and professional. Ill be back for everything.

The Car Place without question offers the most value for your automotive dollar. The level of professionalism given to each vehicle is unsurpassed. But what makes the Car Place experience unique is the genuine care of its customers.I have always felt that theses guys never take me for granted. I am always made aware of the status of my repair and there are no surprises when I go to pick my vehicle up. What really impresses me is the manner in which the service writers give me a full accounting of what my car needs and then helps me to prioritize what is to be addressed first. At no time have I ever felt like unnecessary services where being suggested. I guess it comes down to being able to trust an automotive repair facility at all levels. If you are looking for the utmost in technical expertise and unquestionable integrity...The Car Place will be your last stop in shopping for a home for your vehicles.

My vehicle has a sporadic pulsation in the brake pedal. New rotors, wheel sensors, brake pads, calipers, axle, etc. were replaced before taking it to The Car Place. They are very knowledgeable and put a lot of time and energy into diagnosing the issue. Once they realized that it could become a costly endeavor (and it is an older vehicle) they contacted me and let me know my options. I decided not to keep chasing the problem for the time being as it does not appear to be a safety issue. Nonetheless, they imparted some wisdom as to how and avoid common pitfalls in case I decided to go elsewhere in the future. To top it off, they are more than reasonably priced and value your time. Needless to say, they have earned a repeat customer. I will bring my vehicles to them even if it is just for an oil change. They deserve your business, because they earn your business.

We have worked with Pat & Ronnie for years and years. In fact many years prior to the opening of "The Car Place". They are an outstanding group of individuals with the knowledge and past performance of being able to rebuild a vintage BMW to needed repairs of todays cars. Each member of my family has had their car serviced there and its great to have a reliable and trustworthy place to be able to take your vehicle and know that it will be repaired the right way the first time. Our family has had BMWs that have made it into the 250,000+ mileage range. In fact two BMWs that were close to 300,000 miles. With that said they each car was always reliable and fun to drive. I would say that these guys have made it into the extended family and I have never hesitated to recommend them to friends or anyone. Great, trustworthy, honest and they know what they are doing!

The idler pulley on my 2003 Mini Cooper S seized up, taking the fanbelt with it. Im a pretty mechanical guy and would normally just fix this myself, but Im currently living with my in-laws and didnt want the hassle. I had it towed to them and they were able to fix it the same day. The check engine light also came on and they were very good at communicating my options to investigate this, what the likely causes were, etc. I opted to just wait and see if it came on again. I noticed my wheels looked really clean when I went to get in my car and then I noticed my dusty dash was clean as well. It appears they cleaned the inside and out of my car. Im not sure if thats normally included or not. Very happy with my experience.

I have been doing business with them for about 4 years now and they have serviced a BMW M3, Infinity M45, Porsche Cayenne, Lexus IS300, Volkswagon Passat for me. I have never run across a better group of guys in any business anywhere. They are not only knowledgeable but are also always looking for ways to save me money. They have even recommended I get rid of a car because it had a major repair potentially on the horizon even though this directly hurts their business. I will always be a loyal customer and will tell everyone to go here with any auto related problems.

Ive been a customer since the late 1980s, and The Car Place has serviced every BMW Ive owned along with cars of other family members. In all that time, Ive never been disappointed. Pat and Ronnie, and now Jessie, have made every effort to tell me exactly what my car needed or might need, and they always advised me on which repairs should be a priority. I trust them without question - have never been misled or pressured into making repairs. You wont find a more reliable team, and I recommend them without hesitation.

The folks at the Car Place were FANTASTIC! Very thorough, very efficient and I had a good experience with them. My car was ready the same day and the prices were very affordable especially compared to the dealer. I used to live in Denver and didnt have a specialized arage to take my BMW so I took it to the dealer and it was $1,000 a pop everytime aI took it in and that was 3x in 5 months! This trip to have multiple things worked on was WAY under $1,000! I will be visting them again for my car needs!

I own a few Mercedes spanning from the 70s to the 90s. I do a lot of the work on them myself, but for the stuff I dont have tools or skills for, Ronnie and his crew at The Car Place is one of the only places in Raleigh Ill actually trust with my car, and Im more particular than most. They are great at communicating about options, things that are a good idea "while were in there", and do great, honest work. I have never been unhappy after I get a car back from them!

Absolutely outstanding service by Jessie and the gang at The Car Place! We had our 2005 Mini Cooper S more or less dismantled from the doors forward for maintenance in conjunction with the vehicles purchase. Jessie explained every step and option available as the multi-day process continued, and the attention to detail and obsession with a job well done was truly unmatched. Thanks, guys, for what was quite possibly the best customer service experience Ive ever had!
