THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I am SO grateful to this Auto Repair Shop for their utmost honestly and integrity. I am new to Raleigh and stopped in (driving by) at A & J out of desperation. I had been given quotes ranging from $300-$400 for "necessary" repairs just to qualify my car for a state inspection. I didnt have that kind of money. My last stop (hope) was A & J. Ray (owner) was so helpful, he did a full inspection and said all my car needed was one minor repair on the emergency brake which cost $17.00. He did the repair and the inspection on the spot. My car not only runs great but its also properly inspected. I highly recommend A & J Automotive - they provide old-time customer service at VERY reasonable rates. THANK YOU RAY

I cannot say enough good things about A & J Automotive.It is the best auto repair shop that I have ever been to in the area.Not only is the environment of the shop wonderful (comfortable,customers office, beautifully decorated, complimentary snacks and coffee), but the owners and their wonderful staff treat their customers like family. They are so welcoming and honest.It shows how much they appreciate your business (which is very rare these days).They go out of their way to help you. Suezee one of the staff members took me home while they worked on my car.I would not go anywhere else!Excellent job A & J Automotive.

Does not deserve 5 star rating. These guys are good when it comes to common problems, but when they have to really troubleshoot its like they pull cards out of a hat. Ive taken both my cars here on multiple occasions. In total Ive spent about $3500 with them over the past 3 years. This past year Ive had strange problems with both vehicles and their solution was completely unrelated and never solved my problem. Im currently in search for someone new. Again, these guys do not deserve 5 stars.

You dont want to be stuck on the side of the road and A&J Automotive is your best insurance against that kind of problem. I have taken my car to these people for years and have never been disappointed. I have seen their business more than double because of the personalized, friendly and dependable service they provide and they are very, very professional and honest. This is not an assembly line; each individual receives undivided attention. Their customers keep coming back. I know I will.

So grateful to have found A&J Automotive! I was told that I would need between $150-$250 worth of work to get my car to pass inspection, which as a college student, was really terrible news. A friend recommended that I go to A&J for a second opinion and I am so grateful that I did. As it turns out, all I needed was a new windshield wiper. The staff is super friendly, the place is actually CLEAN, and I feel like I can really trust the technicians are telling me. Thanks A&J!!!

A & J have been servicing my vehicle for over two years. They are the best! Their waiting facilities are comfortable & clean. The front office staff is knowledgeable and friendly and always give you a personal customer service feeling. Not having a mechanical mindset, I trust them with servicing my vehicle and identifying any issues or upcoming future issues. Their mechanics are fast and efficient. Give them a try and they will become our go-to mechanic.

Went here to get my ac recharged. The staff here is extremely friendly and efficient! We were there for at most 20 minutes and within that time they asked if we wanted any refreshments. The waiting area is very clean with a flat screen TV. This place is so customer focused that they even gave us a welcome bag as a thank you! I would highly recommend this place! I know I plan on using them for my car needs.

I used A & J in the past for small repairs and work. Recently had to take my 97 Buick Lesabre here for a water pump and belt replacement. Was towed there and dropped off my car by noon, and the repair was finished by 4:30 same day. Price was very reasonable, and at or below anything else I could find online for the same work. I am very pleased, and would highly recommend this place to anyone else.

I have been taking my cars to A&J automotive for 15 years, and wouldnt consider taking it anywhere else! I recently took my car there for a job that was exhaustive to fix. They worked meticulously and efficiently to solve the problem. Their staff is always friendly and they truly care about every customer! Definitely the most trustworthy, honest and hard working automotive center around!

Accommodating whenever I need an appointment, polite, explain my options, reasonable prices, and a lovely customer waiting area where I can sit and work on my computer. When I heard a noise, and was concerned as I wuld be driving 1500 miles alone, they looked over the entire undercarriage. When they found nothing serious, they did not charge me. I still miss Tom! They communicate future issues that may occur so you never get blind sided and can plan accordingly to service your vehicle to keep it running smoothly as long as possible. Everyone should take their cars to these guys!

I was visiting Raleigh from out of town when our car broke. It was on a Saturday on a holiday weekend and I was stuck. I called A&J Automotive and they had my car professionally repaired in a couple of hours at a fair price. I wish we had a place like A&J Automotive in our hometown.
