The storage unit was good. The moving truck also fine. It was very convenient to have the moving truck there at the storage place. The rental cost on the moving truck was competitive with other rental places. So, the reason that Im giving only three stars is that we had a problem on move out. I thought I lost the key to the lock on my unit. My son was on his way to move furniture from unit so we asked to pay for lock cut by credit card over the phone. My son realized that he had the key so we did not need the lock cut. We asked for the $25 fee to be refunded since we never used the service. Martins refused. It is against company policy. This still makes no sense to me and seems unfair to not get a refund on a service that wasnt used. We started the process to dispute the charge with our credit card company. The corporate office later agreed to refund the $25. However, it is still company policy to not give refunds.

My brother and I rented a unit from Martin Self Storage. We have had a great experience with them. We couldnt find any other units available in Wilmington, but the guys here(Jonathan, Chad) got one ready for us that someone had just vacated so we could get our uhaul back in time and get out of our apartment. The pricing is fair and the facility is top notch. I wish the insurance coverage was a little cheaper, but that is not an issue. Feel very secure with my belongings there.

Martin Self-Storage has generously donated boxes to Clean the World, an organization mobilized in the Haiti Earthquake Relief Effort. Clean the World has a partner in Wilmington who has arranged a water and supplies drive. These items will need to be boxed, and Martin Self Storage did not hesitate for one second in helping out. We thank you Martin Self Storage, and the people of Haiti thank you.

Good place. Clean, affordable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Moving truck was a big help, although you still have to pay for insurance and gas. Either way, still a good deal. Only downside is the hours, if you need anything late at night its not open. Although, most people dont and I guess it keeps your stuff safer. I just tend to be more out and about at night.

I have had a great experience using Martin Self Storage. I moved in on a Saturday night, and the manager was actually there to help me and was accommodating. I feel very comfortable knowing that the manager lives on site- definitely an added bonus to their already very secure and safe site. I recommend using Martin!!

Security isnt as high as they claim and while they promise there are no homeless living there, all you need to do is go inside and you can see them living in the storage units. They havent bothered me since Ive been using them though but I would be wary of keeping valuable things there.

As Trolly Stop Hotdogs, we have a unit there for our 3 carts. The facility is very clean and well kept, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Over the years we rented several units from various companies, but none was as well kept as this location. They do a great job!
