I called the number for this store and got a very nice person at some national call center. I asked for a 5x10 space and said I only needed it for a month. They told me it was no problem and that the location I had chosen had a space of the kind I wanted available, how much it would cost, and said to bring my own lock or I would have to buy one because they require locks. I asked 3 times if there were any other charges. "No" was the answer. I specifically confirmed the total amount for a one month rental with the agent 3 times. I dont like bate and switch. I dont like hidden costs. I dont like being taken advantage of. I made the reservation and headed over to the store to fill out the paper work, see the space, etc. The person inside was artificially and minimally polite. We were about to head out to look at the space when she casual said the total for today would be X dollars. This was MORE THAN DOUBLE the figure quoted on the phone by the national office. Why? She gave the following reasons: 1) They require me to BUY THEIR LOCK (about $15). I was NOT allowed to use my own. 2) They require insurance ($$$) and pushed their own expensive insurance (she apparently assumed that one would fly by because most people dont know that their own home-owners or renters insurance will cover it. 3) She said "Public Storage has thousands of locations and the person on the phone couldnt possibly know THAT stores rules, since the rules vary from store to store. I pointed out that without me saying a word, the person on the national number knew what store I was interested in. When I said what I needed they knew the store had a space available of the size I needed, how much it would cost, what promotions were on for that store, where they were located, and what the TOTAL CHARGES would be for a 1 month rental. I expressed my sincere disappointment and acknowledged that the policies of the store were not the fault of her personally. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to. At first I was told "no, they arent at the store and not available." The manager was standing outside the door. When I inquired further she said, well, she is here, but she cant help you. I asked if she could ask anyway. She very grudgingly did so by phone, even though I could see the manager standing on the other side of the window talking on the phone with her (they could see each other and were no more then 10 feet from each other.). According to the person inside, the manager flatly said "no", policy is policy, etc. and at this point she looked at me with pure contempt and disrespect. She said, "There is nothing I can do." in the most condescending way possible. I said, "There IS something I can do. I can find another place to rent from and let the internet community know what happened here." I left, got on the phone and found another place in about 5 minutes within 2 miles for less money AND atmospherically controlled. I could use my own lock. I could use my own insurance. Public Storage? Not at this location. For me, not at any location.

Robin was a pleasure to deal with in setting up my storage space. The process wasnt overly complicated, and she was great at helping me make choices to fit my situation without me feeling like I was being pushed to buy things. The property is very nice and I found the pricing very competitive considering the security and quality of their offerings, and the items they have for sale in the shop are actually well-priced, too. I was expecting them to be high because of the convenience, but they are about the same or lower than stores in the area. Its convenient to be able to buy things like boxes, moving blankets, and bubble wrap, and its cheaper than breaking your stuff. Overall, a very nice experience.

This facility was superb! I needed storage space for 6 months and was concerned about damage from humidity, heat and cold so I rented two indoor units at this facility. Temperature control was always great. I was also concerned about pests and rodents. After unpacking my boxes and furniture, I have found NO evidence of either. This place is clean, tight, well maintained and well managed. Kim, the property manager, was always friendly and willing to accommodate my requests. Her sales agents were also very helpful. I was extremely pleased with my overall experience here and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in need of extra storage in the area.

Fantastic service and completely painless at both the start and end of my time renting! Super easy and fast to open a new account in person and got a great deal on my first months rent. I was directed to the exact sized unit I needed. After I was done renting, it was once again very fast and painless on the way out, taking no more than 5 minutes to complete the checkout process. Awesome customer service. Went there today to buy some boxes and bubble wrap. I found out that the bubble wrap was extremely affordable, way less than any other place. The woman behind the counter, Meka, was extremely helpful and pleasant. She helped me with my purchase and even helped me carry my stuff to the car. I will definitely be coming here on a regular basis for my bubble wrap and boxes!!

Awesome customer service. Called and talked to someone on the national line and within 5 minutes of hanging up Kim called me back from the local facility. When I went in to look at the space, she was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Also polite to my son which is always a plus for me. Will definitely recommend.

Great facility and fantastic customer service. Kim is thoughtful, gracious and proactive; making our experience painless and enjoyable. Moving supplies are a bit pricey, compared to what can be found at the big box stores, but what you need is there when you need it.
