DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH A-1 AUTO!!! I cant emphasize this enough. They WILL rip you off. They told me I needed certain things done that really didnt. A $300 part that didnt need replaced, plus labor at $70 per hour. I took my car to another shop and the owner said there is absolutely no evidence that that particular part needed replaced. My thought is that A-1 would charge me for the part and then put it on their shelf. I wonder how many people they tell something needs fixed that really doesnt. Also, $70 per hour labor rate no matter what they fix is absurd. Maybe major work, but not piddly things. THEY DO NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY EITHER. I took my car in for service and the very next day from picking it up it had a problem that wasnt a problem when I brought it in. They told me they never touched that part of the car. Well how do you do a whole car look-over prior to doing any work and not notice that? Crazy coincidence that that was messed up when I picked it up or A-1 caused it to be like that. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I had a few oil leak repairs done here. I picked the car up after hours. I didnt even get a mile up the road and my check engine light came on. Took it back the next day, they forgot to hook an air hose up. Oil pressure was reading low. They told me I needed an oil pump. Took it home, and the next morning I had oil all over my driveway. Had it towed in, and they found the oil filter they put on wasnt on tight enough and the oil leaked from there. They put the filter on tight and I took it home. The next day the check engine light comes on again and the car is shaking badly. I have it towed in again. They tell me I need a new engine coil pack. I ended up taking it somewhere else and the other shop found a foreign chemical was sprayed on the coils and they only needed cleaned off.

I am happy to be the first to review this business, though I am surprised that no one else has. I have seen with my own eyes how busy this business is, so I must conclude that since there are not any negative comments people are too busy to let others know how great this business is. A-1 can perform the simplest car maintenance or tackle most difficult diagnostic problem. My Vibe had one of those difficult diagnostic problems, the team at A-1 not only fixed my car, but they also stand behind their work with a warranty good for 12 months or 12000 miles. The staff is polite and willing to explain the problem. Now that is peace of mind.

I took my truck here. I was very impressed with the service. I dropped it off around 8:30 and they called me around 10:30 to let me know what was wrong and how much it was going to cost. They also let me know other things I didnt know about, but also told me those things could wait to be fixed. You can also buy parts offline if their prices are too high. Most shops have to order there parts from certain places that they have agreements with. Honest and reliable. Its sad people only think to leave bad reviews.

DANGEROUS!!!! I had a car for sale, and a buyer wanted to take the $2300 car to A-1 to have them check it out. the quote came back at over $2500 in repairs!!!!! So i took the car to MY mechanic, with the A-1 quote, and found out that the repairs were less than $500. Over half of A-1s spotted "problems" were $50 or less, if they even WERE a problem. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO A-1 AUTO!!!! THEY ARE BOARDER LINE SCAMMERS

Great prompt service. Always seem to squeeze you in for an appointment convenient for you. Over 7yrs going to this shop they will do great work, stay true to warranties either by manufacturer or their guarantee. I couldnt see why someone would give these guys a bad rating, not rude, professional, act as you would expect a local auto shop operates with reasonable rates.
