One week I go and get an oil change from them and the list of "recommended repairs" are minor. I of course declined all of the work including a new timing belt (the car is indeed old enough to believe them on this one as it is making an odd noise). A few days later, this noise is 10xs worse sounding and now my not so old brakes are grinding on the rotors! Skipped right by the squeaking when applying the brake phase. The following weekend I decide my car might not be worth enough anymore to repair so I take it back to firestone inquiring about a possible new belt and they offer me a ten dollar safety check. I sign nothing and leave. They call me after the inspection telling me my new belt has been installed and gave me a list of more repairs. And oh, all of a sudden I have multiple holes in my muffler?!?! I wonder who poked those in it last week when I was getting an oil change! My point. If you dont call them out on their BS, they will ripe you off. The Firestone in KENT is thee only Firestone I now trust.

To confront the other review: It is common knowledge that you shouldnt just change one tire on a car to one of a different brand and tread wear. Its not safe. Thats not a valid complaint about this place. I was weary to this shop because of the reviews, but Im glad I did. The shop people are extremely friendly and did a good job patching my tire for less than $22 after tax. The waiting room is nice, and the location is fantastic for walking around while youre waiting. The workers were very polite and actually taught me a few things and adjusted all the pressure of the tires on my car for me. They were fast and professional. Even though they measured my tread depth at 5/32", they didnt try to convince me to buy new tires. They just did the repair asked in 20 minutes and I was out the door. Thank you.

Went in to get four NEW tires from Firestone everything was great with the tires and the price. They also gave me a nifty list of all the other problems with my car at the time which was nice to have for future reference. Well not even 24 hours later i was driving and my brakes decided to suddenly give out in an intersection causing me to almost crash my car. Now, nowhere on this sheet of "problems" they gave to me said anything about my brakes or brake lines being faulty or in need of repair nothing at all. According to Firestone it was all a coincidence that this happened, even so why the hell would they have not noticed this when they were under my car "inspecting" it. This place is a joke.

Be cautious of the full Synthetic oil change bull/lies advertised as $49 on special. Most full synthetic oils should take you 10,000 miles on a oil change they tell you after that yours will only get you until 5,000 and they placed a 3,000 mile sticker on your windshield. So what type of crappy synthetic are they putting in your car. Conrad car care and many others play the same game. So basically they are telling you its a full synthetic but its just another blend. Why does everyone feel the need to be dishonest. Just tell it like it is and people will be happier in the end.

I went here for an oil change. That was all good. Then they proved their shadiness by saying I needed new windshield wiper blades and a few other things. I had just cleaned the windshield at a gas station. It was 100% clean. My blades are some of the best Ive ever owned on a car. So when I came in to pay I told the guy that. He requested the guy that recommended me to do this change to tell me why. It was very awkward. Also, he said he saw streaks. Which clearly wasnt true. Again, I went for an oil change and that went well. Id just ignore their opinions about other work.

I started going here about 4 years ago. Sonny is the manager and is great! He and the others have always given me the correct information about my car. I did try to catch them in telling me incorrect information which was given to me by the mentor Firestone. However, they came back with a different estimate and nothing like what mentor said. I even told them what mentor advised and they were shocked. From there on out I have trusted them to care for my car and to give me the highest quality of work. I even drive from the east side to see them.

Be careful going here! Went here for safety inspection... First off they tell me that I need 2 new ball joints. The upper & lower left ball joints they give me their $900.00 estimate. Ok I guess Ill do them myself... But wait a van/truck like this doesnt even have ball joints. It has king pins! shows how much they know or care about what was really wrong... Oh yea and the king pins are in good shape, dont even need replaced

Firestone recommended a bunch of repairs for my car to fix a problem. None of the repairs fixed the problem and they refused to look into it further. I am a small female and once I brought my husband in with me all of the sudden they agreed to look into the problem again (and then did nothing to fix it). I took my car into Midas and they found the problem in a hour and didnt recommend a bunch of unrelated repairs.

VERY SHADY! My grandmother went to this Firestone location to have 1 (one) tire replaced. They told her they do not carry Goodyear and she would HAVE to buy four(4) brand new Firestone junk tires. They said that the traction control would get damaged if she mis matched tires... what a LIE! They conned 900$ from an innocent old lady.

Spent over $130 for them to look at a steering issue (lots of grinding and wheel locking up) for an hour and tell me the wrong part ( U Joint piece $135 new from Honda) had it replaced AND that wasnt even the problem. Now the problems so bad I cant drive it because its dangerous. I will never go there again.

Ive gone there 3 times for an oil change and each time theyve said "we have some bad news." They found at least $500.00 dollars worth of repairs on my car each time. I told them no twice and went somewhere else to have my car checked and there were no problems. FYI. You can bargain with them on price

I went for steeling wheel checking after their checked. my car started to leak oil and smoke. Never I will go back anymore.was the same with my Monte-Carlo 2 years ago.ans they give to you a long list off issues.

Went in for oil change, wiper blades and brake pads. They had a list of other issues with my car serpentine belt, tyrod, rotors. I chose not to get the inflated priced work done. hidden inflated fees
