I had my brakes done last fall.The right rear brake make a weird noise.I went back 4 times and the 4th time,the guy met me outside and gave me a check for $190 and said that he couldnt fix it. I have been hearing the noise for months and finally just had someone completely replace the shoes and spring kit.Noise is gone. I cant see how it should be so hard to see that just replacing the entire stuff inside(costs maybe $20-probably cost them $10) would be the obvious solution to the problem. When I met these guys I thought I had finally found some reliable people. In my opinion,mechanics are,for the most part, pretty much a bunch of criminals and should be prosecuted as such.

We have been using Duwel exclusively for our car repairs for about a year. Michael is an honest man who runs this business with integrity. He charges a fair price, always has things done quickly. There are so many mechanics that try to take advantage of a woman who may seem to not know anything about cars. I am glad we found him.. Nice surprise, last time we went for an oil change, he didnt charge us at all. Just his way of thanking us for the business.

I am passing thru town and had two cars that needed oil changes. Took first one to Jiffy and after a coupon I printed out still paid $39. So for the second car I started searching for a cheaper place. Stumbled upon Duwel. They were friendly, helpful, and did the 2nd oil change in just a few minutes, much faster than the other shop. Thats why mom n pop shops like this are great. If I lived here, this would be my garage.

took in car for a minor repair and had brand new battery i put in the day before stolen. there was no sign of forced entry so it was left unlocked or stolen by someone with a key. they would accept no responsibility. their prices are average or higher and the expertise below average.

I have been going to Duwel since about 2003. I have always been impressed with their skill and their integrity. They also have excellent customer service and are always friendly. Their prices are reasonable. They arent cheap, but they dont gouge you either.

This is a true small town mechanic. They are honest, helpful, and polite. They do not overcharge you or make up things to fix. Its a family owned business and they do an excellent job. I will never take my car to aonther mechanic.
