-TO OWNER- In response to your "threat" about calling your lawyer and contacting google... PLEASE DO!!!!!!!!! We would LOVE to show the proof that we have of you lying about doing business with us just to get out of having to pay for your stuff. so PLEASE DO call them. by the way have you received your notice in the mail from the Kentucky Bureau of Automotive yet? If not you will very soon. By the way I especially like how you deleted your review from Bobbie Brearton off of here after i called you out on her working there, but thats okay because I printed copies of her replies on other reviews as proof that she worked there. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Kentucky Auto Service is the MOST unprofessional business I have EVER encountered. They are rude to customers. They hang up on customers and avoid taking their calls when they dont feel like talking to you and then sit there and call you harassing names when they finally do pick up the phone. And Instead of being professional when doing business with other companies, they order parts/services and then avoid contact with the other companies so they can avoid paying their bill and lied directly to us saying that they had no one there by the name of whom we were asking yet i see right here on their reviews that the last name BREARTON DOES in fact work there. They were were so rude and unprofessional with us that we had to file a complaint with the Kentucky Bureau of Automotive. I hope they get shut down and if they dont, I will file a complaint everyday until they do. I HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.

Dishonest and not anybody you want to fool with. RUN AWAY from these people. I have video of the tow company employee John parking a vehicle in a spot after being towed from a wreck. John actually DRIVES the vehicle himself into the spot and leaves the car in neutral - minutes later the car can be seen moving with no aid from anything other than maybe the wind. An hour later the car rolls down the hill into another car. I have two people witness this and I have a picture of the gear shift with the car in neutral after it wrecked. Mind you all of this is on film from drop off by the tow company to Crash to us taking a picture of the car with the gear shift in neutral. EVERYTHING can be seen. I invited a manager name "Bobby Jean" to look at the film I have and she quickly dismissed it and said it wasnt her fault and its not their responsibility to secure the vehicle. Once they drop it its our issue. Not withstanding the fact that her driver left the car in neutral on a hill??? REALLY? Would you ever deal with a company that refuses to even look at the facts? What if someone was hurt by that car? In response to the owners comments below, the vehicle in question was a PUSH button start. It does not require a key in the ignition to start. I have invited the owner out multiple times to show the video of the vehicle and she had expressed no interest to see it at all.

36 year old male, 2004 VW Passat 150,000 miles This place is horrendous. Here is a quick version of my visit with these clowns: Dropped my car off Monday night (7/13/2015). Received a tune up and replacement hose for coolant reservoir tank. Picked car up the following Monday night (7/20/2015). (7 days it sat at this garage) Drove about 40 yards after picking the car up Monday night and received the following message from display on dash "STOP, no Coolant" Pulled car over on the side of the road and looked under hood. The coolant tank was not bolted in and sensor under tank was not plugged in. Hose was not attached. In the hose was an old used spark plug. Water was in the back seat from where they had left the window open during heavy rainfall. I have also noticed that my security alarm no longer works. The customer service is terrible. No status calls on the vehicle. Did not even call on FRI to say they would be keeping the car over the weekend. Again, 7 days sitting in a garage for that little work. This place is terrible. I will never bring my car back to these people. Horrible ran operation by the owner named "Bobbie" BEWARE

Horrid!! We called for a tow when my husbands car just stopped working. We went through our insurance (Farmers) who directed our tow request to them. We called at 4:30 pm, they said eta would be 6:17, which was already frustrating enough. At 6:25 we got a text that said our NEW eta would be 6:42....tow truck driver shows up at 6:59... COME ON! By the way, I tried calling them three times after their truck was a no show at BOTH etas.. NO ONE ANSWERED! Im 8 months pregnant and have a 10 month old in the car, plus its about 90° outside. Then the driver tells them, hey we can fix it, but it would probably run you about $300. Oh, you think for one minute I would pay this company more money?!? Its a good thing its paid through our insurance or we would have called another tow truck and left this guy here. Please dont waste your time, literally. And if youre not going through insurance, go elsewhere!

This place was recommended when I asked around needing some repairs on my vehicle and our regular mechanic of 15 years had closed shop. I am MORE than pleased with my experience through them. They gave me a quote based on what I thought was wrong and picked up my car that day. When they saw the car and found another issue, they called and quoted me the new price and got my approval before doing any work, and were patient while I figured out what I wanted done. As a single mom I loved that they were affordable and didnt try to talk me into replacing parts just because and that the work was completed quickly so I was not without my van for long. On the phone, internet and in person everyone was very helpful and friendly. My van has not driven this smoothly in a long time and it is now safe for my children again. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Thanks guys!

Well, I do like their prices... But theres a reason why the prices are so low. The quality just isnt there. For example, I took my car there to get an oil change, using a coupon I received in the mailer. Driving away, it felt like they hadnt done ANYTHING to my car, it was running exactly the same. I went somewhere else immediately after to get another oil change. Then, a couple weeks ago my husband decided to take his car there to get his brakes and rotars changed. Today he checked the rear of his car because hes been hearing something rattle around ever since he took his car there... Low and behold, HE FOUND A TOOL in his rear driver side shocks that they had left there. It was just tumbling around each time he drove... Its a wonder it didnt ruin the shocks or get lodged somewhere where further damage could have been caused. Dont go here.

I made a request for a tow through AAA. They contacted this business and said the driver should arrive at my location in an hour. Two hours later, the driver finally arrives. He tells me that he cant get to my truck from this angle and has to go up around on a different road to come up from the bottom of the hill that Im on. Two hours later, he had not returned. I call AAA back. They contact this business AGAIN. The representative from AAA assured me she had spoken to the truck dispatcher and I would receive a phone call from them directly in “a minute or two.” After waiting another 45 minutes, I called AAA third time. At this point, they contacted a separate towing service that promptly called me back and WAS able to respond to my call...
