My mom needed new tires. I recommended Midas. She called and asked if $1,600 was a good price for a set of new tires? My response was yes, if it came with a space ship and/or time machine, preferably a time machine (my selfishness). If they will not supply the time machine or space ship and the $1,600 only includes a set of OEM tires then, no.... Tell the guy behind the counter that claims the 4 cyl SUV only uses "Corvette tires" he is a drain on society, and should immediately get a vasectomy. In all fairness it is not entirely his fault (corvette SUV expert gurus). The responsibility rests on the unethical business practices of large corporation that provides a .01% incentive increase to the minimum wage idiots behind the counter for every little lady they rip off. Avoid Midas, honestly avoid all mechanics in Englewood. Action tire and auto, Good old Dick, Muffler brothers. Craigslist is the best resort for mechanics.

Took my car there a few months ago. When they got done with the oil change part of my bumper was hanging down. I asked why they said it was normal for my car that it is a dust cover. Well the "dust cover" was part of bumper and it almost fell off and got cracked I went to another place and got it bolted back up right and it keeps continuing to fall down. I decided to go elsewhere this time for an oil change to find out midas screwed the bolts underneath too tight so they are not able to even change my oil. I was recommended to a mechanic to get the bolts loosened and my oil changed. My check engine light came on after my sister as well bot sure if it is related but bad things happened after my oil change here. If you see something that doesnt look right question them. Dont recommend them at all.

This place is terrible. I would not recommend anyone to even get an oil change here. I know trying to make money is part of being a Buisness but when they treated me like I was an idiot I couldnt handle it anymore. They always do the "total care" inspection... Or the "I dont care" inspection is a total scam. I got my last oil change done at the same Midas 3 months earlier then I went in for my next oil change and after about a half hour the front desk guy comes out to get me and show me the issue then proceeds to tell me that I need a new oil pan which will cost a lot more than an oil change. This issue should have come up 3 months ago but this Buisness is just trying to scam you... especially the ladies! Be careful!

Lets start with calling to see how long of a wait it would be, Mark was super friendly over the phone..... and just as friendly when I walked in the door! Showed him my coupon, told him what all I needed done/looked at, and withing minutes my car was in the garage getting looked at. Mark comes out shows me the estimate for the work needed, goes over it very detailed but quickly, I agree to what I want done and right back to work. While the guys in the garage were working on my car Mark and I were talking inside... made time feel like it was going by fast. After I get my keys they discounted my oil change since the work took so long....... I definitely recommend them and will be using them again!

Twice (on both my car and my wifes car) I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. The "mechanic" in charge never had the tires off of either vehicle. These were included in an oil change coupon (so thankfully I was not robbed for unperformed services). Needless to say, they lost my trust and I will never bring another vehicle again. Another instance was a blend door on my wifes vehicle. The mechanic had it overnight and supposedly replaced the part. Come summer and I now have the same problem in reverse. (Brought it in in the wintertime due to the heat blowing icy cold air, and now in the summer it only blasts hot air). I cannot trust this shop to work on our vehicles anymore.

My car kept stalling out at red lights. I took it to Midas in Englewood and told them I wondered if it was the fuel pump. I had no idea, it was merely a guess. The young guy at the counter latched onto that. They had it on the lift when I made the comment and he went out and had a discussion with the person looking it over and instantly it was decided that it was a $777 fuel pump repair. I laughed and told them I would not put that much money into it, then took it to my sons friend who determined it needed a new thermostat. It runs great now and I was not ripped off by your company. I tell everyone I know that you are clueless, including the survey taker from your company.

I went into Midas on a rainy Tuesday to get my oil changed in my car. When I walked inside, the assistant manager "Mark" was already there to greet me (This made me feel welcome). Once I got checked in they pulled my car in within a few moments. After about 10min of them working on my car mark came in and told me "it might be a little longer we had to order a filter." I said thats fine. Crazy enough they still got me out of there in 30 min. My experience with Midas was great! I will most definently be going back there. I really trust the employees and I would highly recommend this shop.

AWFUL!!! Took my car there to be fixed. Lets just say there was a hole in my exhaust that i needed to be replaced. My car was extremely loud. After about 2 hours my car was done. Started to drive it home and it was sorta being loud, so i let it go for a few days. My husband got under my car and looked and said that the hole was still there that they just patched it. U cant patch a rusted hole!! $440 later, yea bull. Taking it back this weekend. Fix it right or give me my money back.

I went here and was taken. I called to check the status of my car, and the guy told me it would be $1200. I said i could not afford that. He calls me back and says it will only be around $250. Yea right, take your b.s. somewhere else. Oh they broke my air conditioner when they were fixing my heater. Said it was in the wiring. Took it to another place, and they fixed it for $8.50. A fuse. Go figure. I will not be taking my business to this or any other midas. Good day.

My wife was traveling alone on I-70 and 7 hours from home. Had a minor problem with a heat shield that was falling off the Subaru. I Googled, found this shop and called, knowing they could take advantage of a one time customer far from home. They kept their promise to get her in right away (even though busy) and took care of a minor problem without finding "other problems" that would cost her time and money. Very grateful! Thanks!

I stopped in to discuss a serious problem with my truck where the vehicle was actually unable to drive. I was informed that the parts were actually under warranty and was informed by staff and management at Midas that the problem would be resolved. As promised, the problem was resolved to my satisfaction. I thanked both staff and management at Midas for their efficiency in fixing the problem and their overall honesty.
