On Friday, I made an online appointment for Saturday at 0800-1000 and on Saturday morning, received an email from the shop manager confirming “if you can drop off your vehicle we can inspect your tire and make needed repairs by the end of our day.” I dropped it off at 0830. At 1115, I stopped by the shop to retrieve something from my truck, which still sat in the same spot. My truck would remain untouched for nearly five hours that day. At 1314 the shop called to say I’d need a new tire and that they would have to order one; however, it was in stock and could be mounted and ready by 0900 Monday. I agreed and left my vehicle there until Monday. Afterward I would be going in to work late. On Monday at 0817 the shop manager called to say they didn’t get the tire ordered in time and it wouldn’t be available until noon. He said that “by the time you made a decision…”—and I stopped and corrected him. I made a “decision” in the three minute phone call at 1314 on Saturday. Two days later, not only did the shop not get the tire and install it, the manager attempted to blame the customer. I retrieved my truck, leaking tire and all, and am seeking service elsewhere.

My 2008 MBW 650i overheated and broke down. The BMW dealership quoted me $4000 worth of work, saying it needed a whole new cooling system and alternator. I had it towed away from there to Georgetown KY Midas, where I have always taken my vehicle and experienced excellent service and prices. Jacob assessed the car and found it just needed a new cooling reservoir, saving me $3600, which the dealership tried to swindle me out of!! It drives beautifully and couldnt be happier with the service, prices and honesty the employees at Georgetown Midas give all their customers. They are experienced beyond even what dealerships have to offer, and are honest and very fair on pricing. I will never take my expensive, foreign automobile anywhere but here! You cannot find a better car repair business than this!

Had my Exhaust Pipe repaired by Roger and it was a great experience! Before I went to Midas I went to NTB and they quoted me at $600+, Roger quoted me at $95.75. (What a change in pricing!) Everything worked as expected until a day later I heard some rattling under the car, so I took it back with some questions. Roger immediately went to work fixing the rattling and some extra preventative maintenance on some other worrisome spots on the exhaust pipe, then even took me into the shop to have a look at his work. All at no cost! I would recommend Midas to anyone who isnt looking to overpay on their repair, and want to be treated like family the second you step in the door. Roger makes this place feel like less of a business and more of a shop to help people get back on the road.

I went to Midas in Georgetown a few weeks ago requesting an exhaust quote on a 2001 ford explorer. I asked the teenager behind the counter which was very unprofessional looking with strange things in his ear lobes, about what it would cost to install my muffler. He replied "we dont install parts provided by a customer. " i stood there for a few seconds, about to bring up other options and he started shrugging his shoulders in a disrespectful manner. By far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced with anything. Didnt even offer to quote me a whole job with parts included. This place has a terrible management problem. Wouldnt recommend this "shop" to anyone.

Had to bring both of our vehicles here at different times to get holes patched as we live in a subdivision with ongoing construction. The crew here worked us into their busy schedule, no B.S. or hidden fees, they are a family run store with the Midas name attached. Great service, will definitely come back again. Real nice people. They do good work tell you what is wrong and will show you. Labor prices are a little high and they buy there parts from NAPA, that why I didnt give them 5 stars. I do recommend this place over anyplace else.

Ive had my truck and wifes car here multiple times for simple things like Oil change, Tires, Brakes, etc. Great group of guys that are honest and dont try to "up-sell" you with stuff you dont need. I highly recommend.
