I really hate to leave bad reviews - and hardly ever do, but unfortunately I felt it necessary with this shop. I have a well-cared for BMW z4 that I had taken to a shop that usually does well with my cars. Small problem - brake warning light keeps coming on. But after having the brakes thoroughly inspected by my regular guys (and being told that the brakes, pads, rotors, lines all looked good), I decided to get a second opinion from a BMW authorized repair place. Took the car in to Peachtree Imports and very clearly explained that Id had the brake system inspected just a short time prior, but wanted the warning light to go away. Nothing but a few very minor things needed to be done, but I went ahead and authorized the standard tune-up and a couple of minor cosmetic type repairs also. I was out of town, but picked my car up after hours on friday evening - they left it in a parking lot with the keys locked in (I used the spare). I was a bit dismayed to realize that my high-performance slotted rotors had been replaced with plain cheap stock type rotors on the front (now not matching the back). I was told just a couple of weeks earlier that they were fine. They had not even called to discuss it with me! The next morning I needed to drive the car, but didnt make it to the end of my drive when the water light came on... it had never been on before. A short time later, the brake warning light came back on also!!! (the reason I took the car to this shop in the first place!) I parked my car and gave the shop a call. Theyre not open on Saturday so I left a voice message. Mid week the following week with no return call, I called again. I explained the issues, and was told the following: Water light on - put water in it! (ok, but didnt I just pay you over $1300 dollars to do that?). Brake light on again- happens off and on, could be the sensor (isnt that what I brought it in for and werent you supposed to check that?). No slotted brakes on the front any more - gave me a talk real slow cause its a woman explanation about what slotted brakes were for (I know what they do, it was my choice to put them on in the first place) and how I really didnt need them. But if I insisted on having them, I could buy a replacement set on my own and bring them in... they wouldnt charge me to swap them out. swell, but Ive still paid for stock brakes I dont want, and most likely didnt need (brake warning light still on). I put water in it (took about half gallon), I will get the brakes I want and have them installed by a reputable establishment... and my brake warning light - still on. Sorry guys, but thats the way it went.

Where is ZERO STARS? Going to be brief...both times I took my car here...BOTH times came back worse off. Was told $800 for repair #1. After they took my money.. that still didnt solve the problem. Then was told $1200 to fix the "new" problem. Which Im told and I quote, "should make it work". Next time I took it in for a simple 80k check up. Not only did they keep it for TWO days and do nothing, (not even an oil change like I had asked), when I tried to start it, it didnt. (They were closed and left my key in car). Tried to start it up again. Fortunately, I got my car home, then it wouldnt start again after. Supposedly, they didnt "touch" my car. Gee, thats funny...it started just fine BEFORE I dropped it off to you. I am going to place as many reviews as possible to keep new customers from considering this place. When I called and was told "how can we possibly do anything to your car to keep you from starting it?" Did an untrustworthy mechanic REALLY just ask me that? I said "gee I dont know, I guess the same way I can sabotage my plane if I dont feel like working today. See the equally stupid comments?

To the person that we quoted a radiator to that price was the list price of the radiator which is the price everyone prices when calling, the labor price is taken from the manufactures guide to get the time it takes to put the radiator in, we did not overprice the job, try calling the dealer for a price on the same job and see what you get, we are always cheaper than the dealer, they use a inflated list price much higher that the real list price we dont, also with the cheaper parts online good luck with that, you just bought a made in china radiator, why do you think it was that cheap, we get those back in here all the time leakin where customers have done the same thing putting cheap parts on there car and getting a buddy to put it on for a cheap price. We use the good quality parts so they wont go bad in a year or two. And as for us being connected to theos once again your wrong, remember if something is a good deal and cheap there is a reason for that.

I just recently had a major service impacting several different systems in my car. They did a great job, clearly explained pricing and what could "wait." I was referred to Peachtree Imports by our local scout master and have been bringing my BMW to them for the past 2 years for service and general questions. Many times I have asked if I needed a service and they told me I "had more life" in that component and when I should check back and get it dealt with. They are very knowledgeable and have been delivering on excellent customer and technical services. Jayson followed up with me to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and I told him that my car is running like new thanks to him and his team. Thank you Peachtree Imports Specialist! PS This is my first and probably only review but I thought I should highlight excellent customer service(when it is so rare to find)

I know that people tend to only write reviews when they have a bad experience somewhere, so Ill go ahead and write a positive one to help balance things out. We had a hard to diagnose electrical problem on our Volvo and they figured it out and fixed it. Something about a faulty alarm sensor. We had been getting constant battery drains before, now its 2 months later and all is good. The guys there were very friendly and helpful. I dont know any of them and I have no connection to the business, but I wanted to leave a good review because Im happy the car is fixed.

Called for the price to replace a radiator. Their quote: ".... $321.00 for the radiator (only)". The labor was around $250.00. But by then I was saying my goodbyes. I purchased an OEM radiator online for $78 which was shipped to my home for free in two days and had it installed for $100.00. If Im going to be stupid and pay those types of prices for that type of service; I will be stupid enough to go to the Dealer! FYI: I also reviewed Theos Automotive. I wouldnt be surprised if they were owned by the same folks.
