I cant stand this post office and I go out of my way to not have to visit it. I was expecting a fragile package but it was delayed (weather) and I would be out of town on the day it was scheduled to be delivered. I called to inquire if there was a way to keep it at the post office because I live in an apartment building. First off, I was on hold for 25 minutes. Second, the woman who answered the phone had no personality whatsoever and sounded like she completely hated her life. When I asked what my options were and if I could give my address and the tracking number to have the package kept at the post office and I would pick it up the day I returned. She said "the USPS never delivers to someone who is not home" to which I replied, "If I live in an apartment, they dont know that Im not home and they have never once NOT left a package in my building!" At first, I was nicely and genuinely inquiring about this but the more the woman failed to listen to anything I was saying, I became irate. When she realized she was wrong, she spewed off a number for me to call and hung up on me. I also sat on hold for a total of 3 hours (across the span of 3 phone calls) repeatedly pressing 0 to get through to a live operator. It never happened. Needless to say, this particular package never showed up, was not at the post office, and I have now opened a fraud investigation. Its been a week for that and still havent heard a word... This is the exact reason why the USPS is doing so awful.

Pretty terrible customer service overall. Some workers there do a good job. One clerk has the worst attitude and provides the worst customer service ever, nearly abusive. She tried to force a young man to raise his right hand before signing for a passport photo, when it was clear he had a physical disability and his right arm and hand were paralyzed. After he told her why he could not raise his hand. She then spoke very loudly to let everyone in the post office know his condition, seemingly to humiliate him. I was fuming when I left, although I didnt say anything. Heres my chance! I dont know this clerks name. I dont have to. Anyone who has been this location knows exactly who Im referring to. Hope shes not a supervisor. This woman is the worst. Maybe....if she left or retired, negativity is so contagious...

Terrible experience multiple times. "Ms. Bailey" gave me false information and almost had me paying extra money on multiple packages because she did not know what she was talking about when it came to shipment boxes and prepaid labels. I was asked to repackage 5 boxes and almost did and it wouldve been a waste of time because she was NOT giving me the correct information. She was giving an opinion. I spend 30 extra minutes in a place that shouldve been 3 minutes instead. I did not appreciate the customer service and opinionated assumptions instead of facts coming from an employee of a business. I would not recommend doing business with this place! Please, if you could go to another post office it will be worth it. My experience was nothing less than a living hell!

I have come to this post office many times as it is the closest to our house. Ive had plenty of experiences that werent great but today I finally decided to leave a bad review. I showed up to renew my passport and was told that I would have to wait another 30 minutes after waiting in line because the only person who could help me was on their lunch break at 2:48pm. On the website for this specific post office it says that there is someone to assist with passports from 9am to 4pm. There is even a spot to fill in a lunch break time and there was nothing listed. My husband took off work for us to come here because we both have to be present to get a childs passport. Is there anything that can be done about this poorly run institution?

I have been to Post offices in at least five - often frequented -- in NYC, Philly, Pottsville, Sanibel, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Beverly Mass, LA, Costa Mesa....the Cleveland Hts Post Office is just horrible. Customer service is backwards and slow: Long lines = some has to take a break. This makes lines longer. Phone calls equal = put customer on hold, so they hang up. Other reviews are correct: the overall feeling when you walk through the doors, is overwhelmingly negative. Workers do not want to be there and they have to deal with the customer. There is not a sense of urgent pacing for the customer/country Shipping and receiving is suppose to be fun and hectic. Serve, do not make it worse.

****DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF The wait was too long but what was even more unacceptable was that they ripped me off. They charged me $9 for a standard parcel shipping for a small book when my customer had only paid me $4 for shipping. When I asked, the lady "re-entered info" and brought the cost back down to $3. I had also asked for 10 stamps and she charged me $10 for it. At that point, I had spent too much time there so I didnt check my receipt but at home, I read that it was only supposed to cost me ~$5 for 10 stamps since it was about 50 cents a piece. What a terrible service. I agree with the previous reviews. Do not go here. THEY CHARGE YOU WRONGLY and EXCESSIVELY

Wish I could give less than one star. When I called the man on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. I asked my question and he just said ":so why are you calling here" Then he tried to turn it around and blame me. "We couldnt get in your apartment" You didnt even try! There was no note left! I called 4 different post offices trying to find WHICH one my package was being held at and they were all kind and looked to see if it was there. Very unfortunate that it was THIS post office that had my package. Throughout the whole interaction he talked over me and was just rude in general. If you HAVE to go to a usps take a few minutes extra and drive to a different one.

This was the worst post office I have ever dealt with. Every time I call there they have been extremely rude. I was yelled at multiple times, hung up on, and put on hold for over an hour. This is unacceptable treatment of any human being. The people working there should be fired. There are plenty of hardworking, qualified, and nice people out there that would love to have a job there. When I asked for the persons name who I am talking to in order to file a complaint, I was sworn and yelled at and subsequently hung up on. If anyone that works at this post office reads this, feel free to contact to me regarding my recent experiences. Something needs to be done!

Everytime I schedule a pickup for this post office my packages only get picked up 50% of the time. Ive even received notifications via email saying a successful pickup has been made even though the packages were never picked up. Too many times I had to take my packages to the post office myself when I realize that their still sittin on the porch and the mail has already been delivered for that day. I run a business and the failure to pickup my packages can damage me in the long run. I schedule pickups because I thought it would be more convenient but its nothing but an added stress because I always wonder if my packages will actually be picked up...
