Took my car here after it was damaged by a hailstorm and was told it would be about three or four days for the repairs to be complete. Considering they offer to pay your deductible and I was currently between jobs, this seemed like an okay option to go for.
First, no one there seems that enthusiastic , so you already can get a feeling for how the rest of your experience is going to be. The loaner cars they have are all awful on gas and horribly gaudy with tacky "fine line auto body" decals all over the entire car. The loaner being so tacky was made worse when it took them an entire two weeks to fix my car instead of the previously predicted three or four days, resulting in my having to put forty dollars in gas in to the beater they call a loaner. The communication from the shop was incredibly poor, with my phonecalls asking about the current state of the car after six days had gone by going completely unreturned. It was only after going to the shop itself that I discovered they found more damage despite said damage being listed on the estimate I had given them from my insurance company and was fairly obvious that it could not just be hammered out and I would still have to drive that atrocious loaner for another three or four days.
Days later I got my car back to discover that the car, while fair looking on the outside (albeit dirty, even their car wash was lackadaisical) the interior of the car and weatherstripping around the doors now had damage that hadnt existed prior to this shops work. The drivers side pillar no longer sits flush where the parts join and the rubber area around has been clearly lazily and sloppily put back in place, with large sections of it not even put back the way it was supposed to be. The weatherstripping has large areas where the front and rear doors meet that look like the stripping was simply torn off or not cut properly and the parts that sit on the inside of the door have not been glued down and instead are free and loose. On top of that, the paint on the back drivers side has been screwed up and is now rough to the touch and spotty. To add the finishing touch, they removed my bumper sticker I had placed on my car and said they had to repaint the trunk, despite the outline of where the sticker used to be clearly still visible..by way of all the dirt that had built up around the edges of the sticker.
Given that they were in possession of my vehicle for almost an entire extra week and a half, work quality this poor is completely and totally unacceptable and entirely inexcusable. This is made even worse due to the fact that it is classified as a quality of work issue by my insurance company which means that barring a huge stroke of luck, I am stuck with these people for fixing my car.
After going back, it was insisted upon that the weatherstripping looking like utter hell was how it came from the dealership despite none of the other 2011 Civics (one that I had been looking at moments before) Id seen at my apartment complex looking so entirely atrocious. When confronted about my sticker (mind you, it was more the principle of the thing than the actual sticker) I was greeted only with stammering and a halfassed reply that it had to be repainted a nd when I pointed out that I could still see where the sticker used to be plain as day, nothing but silence.
Ive since gotten in touch with my dealer and insurance agent, thus preventing me from having to give these people another dime.
Avoid at all costs.

This shop was an absolute dream! I cant understand the negative reviews. I strongly urge anyone to give this shop a try ( I went to the one on N High St). I cant imagine you will be disappointed!! I had just bought my new Mazda 3, when someone smacked into the back of it. I had never had to deal with collision repair before, so I really didnt know what to do, or expect. After googling collision repair and seeing the great rebate that Fine line offers- I was pretty much sold. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Shawn, the manager. He was SO nice, in fact, everyone there was incredibly nice! Within 15 minutes he explained everything to me, assured me that they would deal with the insurance claim (what a relief), and set me up with a loaner. I was blown away! So out the door I head to see what loaner they were going to give me. Much to my surprise- they put me a beautiful Chrysler 200. I mean, this loaner was an amazing...a gorgeous car that drove like a dream! So all in all- too good to be true right? WRONG! Within 3 days- the insurance was all taken care of and my car was as good as new! Expecting to find a hitch, I head to the store to pick up my car. No hitch. I got my keys, a bunch of smiles and handshakes, a rebate check, and even a beautiful red rose :)!!! Seriously, why cant all of life be like this? I am so use to places jerking you around, I almost couldnt believe the service I got here. They really made me feel important, relaxed, and the repair is just lovely. They even cleaned up my car for me :) If only Fine Line ruled the world! Many thanks to you Shawn, and ALL at this "above and beyond" business!

Terrible. My car got screwed up by another shop and they sent me to Fineline for a new hood and windshield. I ran into a number of problems caused by their carelessness and incompetence. 1) They began the work before getting permission from the other shop, causing a delay in getting my car back. 2) Once they "finished" it, the new hood wouldnt open. 3) Next time they "finished" it, the hood wouldnt latch closed. 4) Next time they "finished" it, they hadnt reattached the struts that hold open the hood and it still wouldnt latch shut. 5) Finally, they gave the car back to me in a condition that wasnt obviously unsafe. I took it back to the original shop and they pointed out that the side panel hadnt been properly reattached, there was no bulb in the light under the hood, the wiring for the hood light was hanging down so that it wrapped itself underneath the master cylinder, and the new hood latch was attached using a washer of the wrong size, so the latch would wander as I drove. In total, it took me a month to get my car back. Part of this delay was due to the other shop, but Fineline contributed to quite a bit of the delay. I lost track of the number of times they told me "Itll be done tomorrow." They displayed an incredible amount of incompetence. Do not take your car here.

My son took his car in for an estimate and the repair was more then the value of the car so they advised not to fix it. He took it in on a Monday and after several calls to them, they came back on Thurs. (same week) with an estimate of $6K. I said we would not be fixing it, so they had they audacity to charge me over $600 for the estimate, towing to one of their repair shop and daily "storage" fees of $28. We were charged this much for no repair and after several calls to get estimate, I was hung up on and treated poorly! I had to pay the $600+ charges to get the car released. The car was taken in Monday and picked up immediately after they gave estimate. Storage charges.... really?! Their web site says "free estimates".....really?! I advise CAUTION and BEWARE of rip-off charges! I asked for receipt for what I paid and have yet to receive it in the mail, as I am in another state trying to help my son. I am taking this to small claims court! Just want to warn others of how we were treated!
