AVOID!! I took my girlfriends $160 silk dress to get it dry cleaned after spilling beer on it (making a quarter sized spot on the front). I showed the person at the counter the spot, after she asked if there were any special instructions. When I picked up the dress 3 days later, both sides of it were white as if bleached. The pattern appeared to be sprayed on, as it was solid with speckled spots surrounding it, again on either side at the bottom. They then went on to tell me that the BEER caused the dye to come out of the fabric. I then pointed out that the spot I brought it in for was now gone and nothing was spilled on the areas in question. I stated that The beer did not do this, the garment was now ruined by whatever process was used to clean it, and it looked as though it was sprayed on / bleached. Her response was, "My manager has already said that we will reimburse you for the value of the dress or give you in-store credit" (To me that admits guilt) but wanted to talk to my GF before doing so. My girlfriend has since spoken with them after passing the info on to her. NOW their excuse is that the garment being ruined, is the fault of the manufacturer. Stating that it was "dyed wrong". (when the tag specifically states to "Dry Clean Only"). They still have the dress and claim to be contacting the manufacturer (A high-end dress brand) to inquire about a refund / reimbursement. Avoid this establishment!! There are a number of other dry cleaners in the Grandview Heights area that issues listed above can be avoided.

Give this dry cleaner your business only if you want a "rainbow" of frustration, aggravation and irritation over your life while attempting to deal with their bad service, lies and insults that will rain down upon you after taking the risk of being their customer. First they denied, and then admitted, that they washed my dry-clean-only comforter. It took 6 days of persistence on my part to have the dry cleaning charges reimbursed along with a promise that "the check was in the mail" that would partially cover my expense of replacing the comforter. No apologies were forthcoming. One interaction with a staff member included telling me to "grow up" merely because I stated that I was ready to file a police report. It took 10 additional days of follow-up on my part before the money was actually received. The only pot of gold at the end of this Rainbow Dry Cleaners experience is that I need to spend more of my time and money to shop for a replacement comforter!

Took 2 shirts and 3 ties there, when I got them back it looked as if they didnt even wash them but they were pressed, took one of the shirts back in to ask why it was so dirty still and they re did it. When I got it back it looked better but still dirty since they had pressed it the time before. Manager was extremely combative when asked about the shirt and said it was my problem because I put the stain on there and she did not know what happened before, upon asking why it wasnt cleaned the first time as well as the second time she (older shorter lady with glasses) became infuriated and told me to leave and never come back as if I would...really classy and professional. I told them to keep the shirt since they ruined it and they did not even offer to refund the cost of the "cleaning".

They lost a pair of my pants! I told them the exact pair that it was, brand color, they said they would look and then didnt call me for over a week. I called to ask them how theyd resolve it. They said the ticket order was written wrong and they didnt lose them cause they never had them? I asked them how in the world i specifically remember which pair of pants i dropped off and Im now missing? Even one of the shirts they did dry clean and DIDNT lose had some weird dirt/dust patch by the shoulder luckily it came out after i drenched it with water. MY ADVICE- go to Giant Eagle Market District right down the street. Rates are the same, if not less, and they do great work and keep better track of garments....

Very poor service. Both times Ive went in the staff at the counter were rude and unpleasant to deal with. The first time I went in, I brought in a white shirt with a stain and when I came back to pick it up, the stain was just as noticeable. I asked the employee at the counter if anything could be done about it and she said no that they had tried everything, and I was still charged full price. The second time, I picked up a shirt from them that I later realized was torn while it was in the possession of this shop. Effectively ruining a $70 shirt that just needed to be dry cleaned.

The. Absolute. Worst. We ordered and paid for 32 curtain panels to be laundered and pressed. We picked them up 5 days later only to realize that they were only (poorly) pressed. When we called to discuss with the manager she was very rude and disrespectful and refused to complete the work that was paid for. The entire reason for wanting them laundered and taking them there was so they would shrink. Even specified that we wanted hot water used for that reason. Completely disappointed in the level of customer service.

Extremely impolite and rude. Been there to pick up my jacket today (09/31/2012), and kindly reminded him to mark my Loyalty Card, which was forgotten at the I drop-off (older man with dark hair). And everything got out of control when I reminded him that: he started to act wildly. Nonetheless, he threw my card on the floor and kicked me out while cursing and shouting abusively. No need to mention his racist words and so on… Very disappointed. Racist, and probably homophobic too.

I have taken my clothes here off and on for a year and a half. They have yet to get a single stain out and their prices keep going up. My clothes rarely smell clean; if anything they occasionally smell like smoke. I will be driving much further to find a better and less expensive dry cleaner. (These comments reflect all Rainbow Dry Cleaners and not just the Victorian Village location.)

I am from Michigan and had to stay in hospital in Ohio way longer than expected. They came and picked up my clothing and washed and dried it and delivered it back to me. They went above and beyond and cant thank them enough. I called every dry cleaners in the area and they were the only ones willing to help me.

Ive just started taking things to the dry cleaners this past year (havent had very many weddings to attend not prior to now). Ive used Rainbow Cleaners 4 times in the past year, and have never had any issues. All my clothes came back fresh & without wrinkles in a timely fashion. Im taking a suit there today.
