First of all, leaving feedback to local PO is pointless, unless youre trying to deter prospect homeowners from buying property in that area....lol I love my house and I will stay in it till I die but Kent PO at Franklin Ave. really sucks and someone "higher up" has to do something about it. They routinely lose my mail or they deliver to wrong address ( good I have friendly and honest neighbors who get in a car and do delivery to my mailbox on their own - btw I did it several times, too). Recently they promoted my mailman, who was actually not bad to "office job" and since that happened delivery service became just a nightmare. Yesterday they lost one of my packages and delivery person made a bogus entry in online tracking history that he/she ( there are few now) "left notice". In fact no notice was left and when I personally went to Franklin Ave. PO I was told that "they cant find the package". Poor souls....I should feel sorry for them. NOT ! They do not do their godddamn job ! Im pretty sure theyll retaliate now..... PS. is there "zero" or "negative" star rating here ?

Service has terrible lately. I recently had my mail changed to come to my door, from a cluster of boxes,at my apartment complex, due to complications of walking up to get my especially during the winter..However ever since I did that, I have had nothing but problems, getting my mail and packages delivered.. Sometimes I dont get any mail for a week or more sometimes. I dont get my utility bills,on time, my bank statements etc on time. They even lost a couple of prescriptions, I had mailed to me. Very bad service,When I call them I always have to be the one to call the next day. before 9:00 am, to get my mailman to find out why I am not receiving my mail, like I should... I dont think that is a very good solution to the problem...They honestly need to do something about these issues.

I have a PO box there and they put a key in my box to retrieve a package that didnt fit. Problem was there was nothing in the box. Make a special trip to the post office and ask whats up? They say it happens a lot. One week later I get a "final notice" that they are sending a package back that I failed to pick up. Now I have to take off work to get it. Tried to do it online and it wont let me have it go to the po box. Had they checked for my package when I asked why I got a key to a large box with nothing in it, I would have my package. Too lazy to do their job. I do everything I can without using the Post Office. They have been worthless for many years, but in past years we had no other choice. Kent is the worst for customer service.

Ive never seen such a terrible post office in my life! I asked the cost of sending my package (middle size 15x15x15inch, 11kg) to my country. The staff answered its about $300. I told that the price is strange (as usually it must be around $100) and asked cheapest service again and again. But he replyed like "there are no choice, this price only, yeah, its expensive to send to abroad". I later searched the price at official US post office website and it showed three choices: the cheapest is $120, most expensice one is around $240. To make sure, I went to Ravenna post office. He answered the same price of that, $120. This Kent post office guy is cheating? just unprofessional foolish? or discrimination? Anyway, DO NOT use this post office!

Worst post office I have ever dealt with. They lost and mis delievered my package and then had the nerve to tell me it was at my front door. Told me I was the 15th call in 2 days about missing packages. Waited for a call back and never got one. Called and spoke to the post master Brian, he took my name and number and its been 3 days. Loren the first guy told me I was ridiculous because he had to do his job and locate my packaged. Are u kidding me! So disrespectful and absolutely frustrating. Shady people. Now I have to get packages delivered to a completely different place because I know they dont have issues else where. How is a place like this with such bad customer service still allowed to operate this way! Beyond pissed.

I used this post office to send out over 50 save the dates. It took nearly 2 weeks for my guests who live one town over to receive theirs and 3 weeks for those out of state. Needless to say, I am not using this post office for my invitations. This is the worst problem I have had with this post office, but it is the not first. When we first moved to Kent we received a lot of the previous residents mail. I labeled our mailbox with our last names, went to the post office to inform them of the change, and even wrote "return to sender" on many, many envelopes for the previous residents. It is 7 months later we still get their mail on a daily basis. I love Kent, but the postal service needs to step up!

Absolutely awful. What good is providing customers with tracking information if it is incorrect? First it was at the post office yesterday and I would be receiving it today. This morning it was "out for delivery" and now they are telling me that it only just got to the post office today and I wont be receiving my package until tomorrow. When I was in yesterday I was talked down to by the supervisor on duty as if I should have known the inner workings of the USPS and that I was an idiot to even ask why I couldnt pick up my package, Today the person I spoke with did not at all answer my question as to why it was taking so long or why the tracking information was incorrect.

I have never received good service from this post office. I ordered a package from England and it was held at the post office for weeks - I wasnt notified until the package was about to be sent back. I once had all my mail sent back because I didnt check my box two days in a row - and the carrier told the post office I had moved!. My current mail carrier refuses to separate our mail, and often I get my mail, plus all of my neighbors mail as well - sometimes the same happens to them. If anyone was wondering why mail service is slowly getting phased out, theyre doing it to themselves by being grossly inefficient.

Ive never been so inclined to take the time to write a review because of a particular businesss performance, but here I am. After paying for priority 2 day shipping, contacting USPS multiple times, and filing a claim, I have yet to receive my order. The claim was closed, without my knowledge, and the tracking status says "delivered" so that they are not liable. Thank you so much for your service. I realize how difficult it must be to get a small box from one place to another. You truly are the epitome of sedulousness.

I ordered a xmas gift from hong kong and should have been at my location on dec/20/2014 . the package went from Akron,ohio to kent , ohio for delivery to canal fulton,ohio . needless to say here it is dec/24/2014 and the package is redirected again . what happened to the post office ? we wonder how they as package delivery persons can make the money they do ? if I fed up my job I would be fired and I sure would not make any money. I am in the wrong business.
