The customer service at Extra Space Storage on Murray is absolutely fantastic. My sister and I are in the process of moving and the new place we are moving to suddenly -and with little notice - told us that they wouldnt be ready for us until 3 days AFTER we were supposed to leave the old place. Meaning there were 3 days that we would be homeless and have no place to store our belongings. We searched and searched for storage places but we only had $39 to work with because we just paid a deposit and last months rent. We found many places that had offers stating $1 or $25 for the first month but when we got to these storage places they added on lock fees, sign up fees, and insurance fees that brought the total cost to over $60 despite the fact that when we called (we always call first) they told us it would be just the $25 or $1. Each place, once finding out we had exactly $39 to work with, shooed us away. When i called Space Storage they told me it would be $38 total. When i got there the woman at the counter told me the sum of everything would be around $50 but because i was told $38 over the phone and only had $39 that she would PERSONALLY pay the difference if it was over $38(it ended up being $47.50). I have never had such amazing service when in such a tough situation. Thank you so much Robyn Schultz <3

I have rented from Extra Space Storage in California for many years. They have been an excellent company to work with. When I moved to the area they were the first place I thought of. I called around however to get a few prices. Although they may not be the least expensive place in town they are the best. The manager was happy to accept my business and treated me as if I mattered. I felt welcomed and wanted. As I moved my stuff into the facility there was not a time that his cheerful attitude was not seen by me and my family. The facility is superbly well maintained. There was not a single piece of garbage laying and it almost seemed like someone had just swept the entire facility. The driveway areas are very wide and easy to get around. Extra Space Storage is an excellent place to rent storage space whether it is temporary or long term. One last thing, the hours of operation are very convenient, if you are an early riser, or a work late, they gate is open and ready for access.

On the last day of our move, we had reserved a storage unit from a national chain. We were assured the storage unit we were reserving was available, but once we arrived and spoke with the "manager" (?), we were told that they couldnt give us the size wed requested, but could upgrade us with, of course, an upgraded monthly charge!! It was at that moment, while in the office of the competitor, that I looked up other storage facilities in the area. Extra Space came up and was close by. I made the reservation online as we were driving to the Murray Road location and, when we arrived with a U-Haul in tow, Robin was a breath of fresh air in what could have been an awful day. Matter of fact, I will be moving out of the competitor (I already had a small unit rented) and will move all of my belongings into Extra Space. They Rock!!!!!!

Robyn and Jeri helped me get a storage unit today. Let me say that these two are some of the nicest people Ive met in quite a while, anywhere. They got me set up with a unit in an extremely professional (and friendly) manner. I thought it would be a hassle, but they did everything so fast and efficiently. They also explain EVERY DETAIL so you really dont have any questions after youre done. The actual units are really clean and the property is VERY clean. It felt nice to be in there, actually. Its a very secure location. I dont do reviews often, maybe once a year on a product I buy or something. But today, I got such wonderful service from them (and a great price!) that I just had to post a review. Just stellar service, honestly. I am grateful for people like them.

This was my first experience using Extra Space Storage. The pricing of the units seemed to be in line with the competition, but I chose this location mainly because it was the closest and most convenient. Im glad I did. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, and the facility was clean and extremely well maintained, which made me feel like my belongings would be safe here. The hours of access are reasonable and made sense for security reasons. My only minor complaint would be to have a retroactive refund for days not used since I ended up paying for almost 3 weeks that I didnt use; but that would be a complaint directed towards whoever creates the guidelines, not for the staff. I highly recommend this place for anyone in need of storage!

This is the second time Ive come here, and I dont have a storage space here! I came in once because Im moving and I needed boxes and they were close to me. Robin was so helpful – even though it was a silly little thing I was trying to do. So when I needed a box again – this time to mail something – I came here first rather than going to the post office or FedEx. I like the little guys! And she did it again: she helped me figure out the right size box, crafted a plan to package it so it wouldnt get broken--including using discarded packing stuff so I wouldnt have to buy more! Throwing the generous service out – shes just a nice person. And we dont see that much these days. Thanks, Robin and Jeri! :)

A couple of weeks ago I went by this Extra Space Storage in search of a small unit. I had checked online and the pricing and incentives were fairly competitive. The staff was very friendly and laid back. I looked at a couple of sizes and the staff was very helpful in finding me one that fit my needs. The unit was clean and there was a move-in cart available when I needed it. I really like the location, quick and easy access, not tucked away in some remote location. They offer moving supplies as well, but I would suggest that you check Home Depot for cheaper boxes. Overall would highly recommend that you look at this one if you are considering a storage facility.

Well Ill tell you what....it was a huge relief to have found Jeri and Robyn when I arrived in Beaverton recently. I found their friendly, direct and informative service to be quite helpful and refreshing. They are exactly the type of people and business I like to support. They keep the entire property immaculate and helped me out in a pinch when they lent a lock to me. I know that my property will remain safe and secure with them and to me that is just the best. Im new to Portland and finding my way around so knowing that I dont have to worry about my belonging in storage takes a huge weight off of my shoulders and gives me peace of mind.
