This review is about a experience with my mail carrier in Cedar Mill Oregon that is a suburb of Beaverton Oregon. I have lived in one of 9 apartment complexes there since 2005 and since 2015 last year at the beginning of the year and the beginning of this year the mail carrier keeps sending back all my bills that have to go out. He on some of them makes black check marks on the white envelopes and writes NO NO all over them and the ones that have envelopes already sends those back as well. This past 6 months I have had to take them over to Thriftway that has a post office and mail them over there. It is hard because I am unable to drive due to cerebal palsey leaving me slow and somewhat retarded. Now it has been 44 days since the first week of December of 2015 and my Sprint cell phone bill keeps coming back saying RETURN TO SENDER: ADDRESS UNDELIVERABLE: UNABLE TO FORWARD. For the 4 time I have readdressed it and resent it and it comes back again. My cell phone bill needs to be paid and fail to understand why you are doing this to me Mr Jerk of a mail carrier. Since I am disabled completely you have figured out I get assistance and you think it is unfair I get it and housing due to your beliefs. You have decided that I am slow and do not deserve to have outgoing mail delivered. I have taken all my mail January 2016 over to Thriftway to mail it and have it checked and they tell me it is the Mail Carrier and nothing is wrong with it. Please if you live in the Cedar Mill area of Portland Oregon to never ever never ever never ever mail it in the drop box in any of the apartment complexes. This carrier hates disabled folks and 1000% discriminates against them. You have treated me like dog crap since 2014 when you started doing this to my letters. One letter he put 6 big black check marks on and put NO NO NO NO all over it and I had to take it to downtown Portland to mail it again and check it for being correct to mail via the address. I know you hate me Mr Mail carrier otherwise you would mail my outgoing mail. I knew this guy Chris in jr high school back in Tulsa Oklahoma and he was very slow and his mail carrier would send his mail back all the time. Just like me he was in a terrible auto accident that caused him to be that way. I have Cerebal Palsey due to a car wreck and some genetic problems. That is no reason Mr Mail carrier to treat me like dog crap. Please never ever never mail your mail out of Cedar Mill unless you want this mail carrier to destroy it and not mail it ever. I hate your guts Mr Mail carrier for being 1000% a total jackass.

I have patronized this post office for over 17 years. I dont mind the long lines. What I mind is observing the rude treatment that customers receive from two of the postal workers at this location. There is an older lady and a gentlemen with long hair (their names are purposely omitted) and if they worked anywhere else they would have been fired years ago for their unfriendly, rude and confrontational abuse of customers. Rather then help customers mail letters and packages they find every reason possible why their letter or package is unmailable. I am always friendly and go out of my way to avoid being persecuted by these two employees. Im actually a bit scared of them because I never know what they are going to do. Yesterday was the final straw. I knew the outside mailbox cutoff had passed and I was planning on going inside to mail a card. I observed the older lady emptying the outside mailboxes. Knowing how she is I never should have considered for a moment a nice reception. I smiled and went up to her and in true character she grumpily signalled me to go inside. After an exchange of words and others wanting to add their mail too she clarified to me that if I put my card in the box she would collect it. I let her know that after all these years why couldnt she be friendlier and I dont know how her and the long haired gentlemen have kept their jobs. She said I dont talk when I am working I replied if I didnt talk and wasnt friendly I wouldnt have any customers. Isnt the post office struggling? With attitudes and service like this no wonder. I hope the supervisor at this location will see some of the negative posts I saw and after all these years maybe observe the way these employees treat customers. While people are waiting in line they are talking and they are in disbelief that these employees are allowed to treat people the way they do!!!

That Asian lady is beyond rude. If I were like that in a job, union-shielded or not, I would have been written up multiple times until I was fired. Her supervisor is very lax and not doing HIS/HER job of getting her to correct her behavior. Someone like that should NOT work with the general public. Always a huge line, too. Several other employees come in and out behind the counter, but they dont open up a window. They are oblivious to long lines and feel safe in their jobs, I guess, because of the union. I had a friend pick up something for me when I was laid up with a broken leg, and she described very rude behavior by the Asian lady too. SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT EMPLOYEE!! Also, when there is a substitute for my postman, who is really nice, I dont get mail for a number of days because even if a note is left for him in the condo group mailbox belonging to me, he does NOT deliver it to my door mailbox, which I have because I have MS and cannot walk long distances. This includes packages.

IF I COULD LEAVE A "O" STARS AS A REVIEW FOR THIS LOCATION THAT WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR THIS LOCATION - ONE STAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THESE PEOPLE IS WAY, WAY WAY TOO MUCH -- THEY DO NOT KNOW NOTHING ON HOW USPS PRIORITY MAIL WORKS AND THEY OVER CHARGE CUSTOMERS.... PRIORITY FLAT RATE ENVELOPE THEY SAY THAT THE ENVELOPE IS "ENVELOPE SUPPOSED TO BE FLAT"... PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION OR YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED AND WHEN THE PACKAGE REACHES THE DESTINATION THEY WILL REQUIRE MORE POSTAGE FROM YOU. __HERE IS A COPY AND PASTE FROM USPS WEBSITE ON HOW USPS PRIORITY MAIL IS SUPPOSED TO BE *** Priority Mail packaging provided by the USPS must be used only for Priority Mail. Regardless of how the packaging is reconfigured or how markings may be obliterated, any matter mailed in USPS-produced Priority Mail packaging is charged the appropriate Priority Mail price.***

Ive worked with a number of USPS offices over the years, and this is undoubtedly the worst Ive ever seen. Its bad enough that theyre slow in dealing with customers; that I could chalk up to staffing levels, &c. The employees there seem to be trying to caricature the worst negative stereotypes about union-shielded govt employees, refusing to get packages because theyre too tired, mis-delivering mail and then shrugging in indifference when its brought to their attention, making rude comments to customers who show up at the end of their shifts, and failing entirely to notify box holders of packages awaiting pickup. While some (but not all!) of the employees are friendly enough, there is an utter lack of anything remotely resembling customer service. If you can possibly ship and receive your mail elsewhere, youd be wise to do so.
