Well this review is coming to you all the way from NJ. These guys were referred to my by word of mouth because I had purchased a DUCATI MONSTER S2R 1000 that had no spare key, red key nor a code card. As any DUCATI owner knows there is a certain type of risk when you have either of the latter, it can hurt the resale value of the bike. Not that I am selling the bike, but it feels legit to me now in conjunction of having that added security feature the bike comes with. Considering that these guys work from all the way of the other side of the US it was a little frightening just sending all the components and just feeling completely naked (no pun intended) when your bike is just sitting there hoping your components make it back. Well to make a long story short, SOS did what they do best and returned it back to me in a timely and safe manner. Needless to say, I am very happy with the work that they did and I would use them again (I hope I never have to though) :) and do recommend any individual that has had this issue and felt it was all lost because the bike they were interested in had nothing like mine did SOS is the place to go when everyone will tell you "dude you are screwed" dont listen to them and call SOS. In fact its bargaining power on your end ;) dont tell anyone I said so. Then let these guys take care of the rest. Thanks SOS! Den

I never write these reviews but my experience was so positive I want the company to know how much I appreciate their terrific service. I had a problem with our car ignition lock. Called all around and cost to fix was prohibitive until I reached SOS Locksmith. They were impressively efficient, responsible, experienced with the problem, answered all my many questions patiently and politely; even called when they were running a bit late to apologize...and best of all saved us a lot of $$ AND I didnt even need to have the car towed there because they came to us! The job was done at our house and just as promised. I was REALLY impressed with their service. Michaela in the front office was also very very helpful (and very polite) and, every time, got back to me just as promised. Next time we need a locksmith these are my "go to" people. I recommend them highly. - One very satisfied customer!

My daughters 05 Chrysler Crossfire would not start do to a faulty security module. The module can be purchased from several sources BUT must be programmed for the specific vehicle. I talked to several Chrysler dealers who all said I would have to tow the car to them, they would do their own diagnostics and replace the appropriate part or parts. One dealer gave a a rough estimate of $1200 if it was the security module. I contacted SOS, they said send them the security module, the power train module and keys, the would provide a new security module and do all necessary programming for $395. I did just that, got the parts back and installed, the car starts and runs great. Thank you SOS.

Our 2005 sprinter developed a "start error" issue in the middle of a road trip. There was no dealer in the area and based on information from online sprinter forums, we rented a car to drive home and sent our ECM, immobilizer unit, and keys to SOS for repairs. We got the equipment back in a few days, and after driving back to the van and installing it, the van started right up. A little more communication on the status of the repair and exactly what was wrong would have been reassuring and would have helped me turn the key for the first time with a little less trepidation. Nevertheless, SOS got us out of a jam with very reasonable cost. *VERY* highly recommended.

My son’s 2005 Crossfire SRT-6 stalled and would not start. We had it towed home. It was not the battery, starter, or relay. Searching the internet I diagnosed it to be the skreem which reads the RF key and allows the ECM to start the car. I found SOS but I was not going to do the job of removing the dash to get the modules. We had the car towed to a dealer. They wanted $4300 to replace skreem AND ecm. I talked the dealer into removing the skreem & ecm and I sent them to SOS. We are in NJ. SOS did a great job and also cut and programmed 2 new key. With the dealer removing modules and putting them back we saved over $2500 and got 2 new key also!

My 2009 smart had only 1 factory key when I purchased it. When that key quit working I knew the costs could be huge. My local dealer needs a working key to program additional keys or the cost could be $1500-$3000 dollars for a new module and new keys. Less than $400 latter Chad had everything working perfectly and now I have extra keys too. At first I was a bit concerned about removing the module, but I printed out the step by step instructions and now its back together and working flawlessly. Thank you Chad and SOS Diagnostics you saved me.

Excellent company! I shipped my Ducati Monsters old broken gauge pod, "new" (used) gauge pod, ECU, and keys to them on a Tuesday morning to have the new cluster mated to the ECU and keys and to have the odometer reset. 10 days later I received everything back, plugged it in, and voila! Everything worked perfectly. The fee was absolutely fair, much cheaper than Ducati would have charged for a new cluster, and the customer service was top-notch. I would highly recommend S.O.S. to anyone who needs repairs.

Im pleased with the fast email support to troubleshoot the start error problem on our 03 sprinter after we gave up on the van. Once we sent the Ecm, tcm, ..etc after a couple of days we got the call for payment nd the shipping was done fast, we couldnt believe it when the van started again. We feel so lucky as they are the only company that can deal with the computer programing stuff all over the country as we looked everywhere.

I have a 2007 Sprinter that had a major electrical meltdown (my fault!), and since that time had a serious lack of power. The Check Engine light was lit, but the codes didnt make sense. Those items were checked and were OK. I sent my ECM off to SOS for repair/replacement. When I reinstalled it, full power was back! I cleared some preexisting codes and all is well. Great service. Thank you!

Sent in a computer that was totally fried and non repairable by another company I use, along with a used replacement. They were able to bench flash the Used unit with the failed on and vehicle is repaired and running with minimal cost. Was dealt with within the week of arrival. Definitely on my suppliers list now. I have had SOS work on a few Volvos, the programming that is required for instrument clusters, transmission modules, ECUs etc. is not done by more than couple services in Oregon. I feel lucky to have this service to go to when I have an issue that requires a high level of expertise. Professional and knowledgeable, they have never let me down.
