Several days ago we were locked out. We just got back from Asia and it had been a long trip and my two boys (9 and 6 years old) have not slept in more than 24 hours and were really exhausted. We depended too much on technology (wifi) to open our garage door but the router was not working. We called the first locksmith we could find and regretted it immediately. The guy was driven by his girlfriend on a beat-up car and was jiggling the lock with screwdriver for more than 50 minutes. I decided to call A-MAX after getting a recommendations from our friend. Bill went above and beyond to quickly get us in. We are very pleased with the service and professionalism. In case you ever need a locksmith service dont call just any locksmith (search on OregonLive and see how many scammers pretending to be locksmith). Call A-MAX because this company is trustworthy and offer very reasonable rate. I would definitely recommend A-MAX to my friends and family if they ever need locksmith service. Ken & Bill helped me fix a poorly installed front door lock-set that a 24/7 dispatch style locksmith (with no address) really messed up. This is a very nice $200 fancy set. Luckily Bill helped me take apart the incorrectly installed lock and had special parts on hand to correct the faulty work. Take my advice, stay away from "anonymous", "No address" locksmiths. I learned the hard way. They also fixed a broken deadbolt at our rental home. I will stick with these guys from here out.

We use Ray Siebert from AMAX for all of our security key/fobs needs. Ray services the Hillsboro area and has always provided us with top notch service. His ability to contact us or our customers quickly makes our customers and us completely satisfied. He has even showed up at a friends home just to program a key fob and when asked by my friend when can he re-key the house and cut another key for a different car he was happy to do it right then and there.

They can fix it all! I went to 10 locksmiths before finding these guys. They helped me solve a very difficult work problem and now we have a contract with them. What makes them stand out is that they are a family owned business and they put so much care and detail into every key. They are problem solvers and they can fix the most challenging situations or they can refer you to a business that can help. I would give these guys 100 stars if I could.

A-MAX set me up with a milled key for my Saab, complete with programing the electronic communication between the key and the car. The whole thing didnt take very long but Im sure they would love to have to tell them you will be coming by do do something like that so they can plan ahead. In the event that I need to replace a complex key like a car key, this is where I will go.

Bill from A-Max was great! I own a BMW and if you are a owner of a BMW you know how hard they are to crack. A-Max specializes in unlocking BMWs. I now have their number in my address book. A few months ago Bill Blanchard came to my house to help me while I was locked out of my house. His rates are fair, without hidden fees or fine print, and he was very kind. He was very fast and I felt safe. Hopefully I wont need his services anytime soon, but I would certainly recommend him :)

I locked myself out of my room and called A-MAX - they said they could be there in 45 minutes and were there in 40. They quoted me $85 dollars and that is exactly what they charged - no hidden fees. The locksmith took less than 3 minutes to pick the lock. Great service!

I came in to get keys made. Handed keys told which ones to make, he went to back talked on phone talked with someone in back & wasted 15minutes of my time and said no we dont have those keys in stock. Get off the phone and handle customers
