Shop around more. I asked for a same day appointment to be granted one in 30 min. Awesome. The dispatch said the locksmith was on his lunch nearby. When he did arrive he said he was in the office sitting there. Said he had only been on the job 3 months. He was clean cut and polite. He then told me that he charged $100 to show up and $20 each additional 15 min. I shouldve asked during the call but was excited to get the appointment so quick. Ridiculous to pay, but I had already scheduled other things around this appointment. He came in for 5 min to un screw the locks. He was outside for 15 min. When I spied to see what he was doing, I watched him do paperwork for 5 min from my upstairs window. I went outside to make sure I wasnt getting charged for him to write an invoice. He returned and did 10 min worth of work. He charged me $123 for the service and three keys. When I tried the keys they were covered in lock lube. The locks work great. I guess thats their hustle here. My locksmith in Las Vegas charges me $60 and I tip him $20. I call him all the time for tenants. Its scary to write the truth about someone that has keys to your house. Lets just say, I wont be calling Precision Locksmith Service back.

WOW. My husband broke his key off in our relatively complicated front door with his Hulk strength.. resulting in a broken window, and taking guests through the back door (far less charming), with the front door out of service. I was calling around this morning, getting quotes, and Precision was in line with the other local locksmiths Id called....UNTIL Steve, who I presume is an angel, had me send him pictures of the lock, and then coached me through how to "extract" the key on my own (through a few more calls and pictures of my progress). I truly felt that he valued my time and money, and was blown away by the effort he put in, to save me the $100 house call. Problem solved, money saved, and I look like a hero. I will definitely be recommending these guys to my friends and family.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I was quoted $50 on the phone then after waiting 2hrs and then it getting dark, he finally showed up and told em because of the age of my vehicle, he would have to go in through my air bag to unlock it and Id have to pay $175! I said absolutely not! He then started nagotiating with me and offered $115. I said no and that my phone was dead could I please use his to call someone else. He gave me the phone and I tried to call the police as I was completely stuck. He then got nervous and said he would do it for the $50 after all. Then guess what?! He just pumped my door open and stuck a wand in to unlock it! No special "going in through the airbag" required! Huh...seems like a scam to take advantage of me when I was desperate.

Great folk. I brought my truck there today because the key to the canopy would not work. I had always used the electric locks to get into it. He fussed with it for a bit and worked some debris out of it. Presto, working locks. No charge. They get my business from now on. They also have the most comprehensive wall of locks I have ever seen. If you need a lock, this is the place to go.

Was not given timely nor accurate information. The technician was rude and overcharged me for something simple. Usually try to overlook negative experiences but this one was too much for me. Ask more questions and get a quote before you agree to have them do work for you. I really cant recommend them.

I called Precision at about 4:30 on a Friday afternoon with an urgent request, and Steve told me he could help me right away. He did. He was friendly, fast, and extremely competent at his trade. He even gave a designer key to my autistic son -- one he will be much less likely to lose! Thanks, Steve!

Lets say definitely the last place Im calling, my keys got locked w my daughter in her car seat. I called and they took long, while we waited we had someone help us meanwhile, when they got there we had already opened the car and took my daughter out, they didnt help yet they still charged.

Ive been going here for YEARS for all of my lock needs, and let me just say these guys are great! The service men are nice, the shop workers are great. Never had any problems. If you live in the Portland Metro area and are in need of a locksmith, this is the place to go.

Would not program a car key I bought online, after telling me on the phone I needed to get one online first and bring it in. Turns out they will only program 2 brands and my key wasnt it. Had the car dealer do it and it works fine.
