Given how many times Ive come to these guys over the past six months or so, I think its high time I wrote a review. Never once have I had anything less than friendly and helpful customer service from Accurate Auto, especially from Mark. As long as my car is in that shop, he calls to keep me up to date on the repairs and any cost changes. In fact, he just spent an entire day calling almost all their suppliers in order to try and find a part for my car that was no longer manufactured. Thats dedication to ones job, right there. As for the actual mechanical work, Ive not had to go back in once for a repeat problem. They didnt even bat an eye when I drove my 65 Mustang in for the first time. In fact, the work theyve done on my old pony car has been so reliable that my father now takes his Mini here. These mechanics really know there stuff! Given the work they do, Ive always found the price of repairs to be honest and reasonable. Plus, not only do they courtesy clean the inside of my car after every job, but multiple times Ive found a small bag of candy in the cupholder. I mean come on, how great is that? And one last thing I think is important to mention, as its something Ive come across with other auto shops and Im sure other people know about too. They arent pushy about repairs. Whenever the work is done, if they find something else, Mark has always simply informed me of the problem. He gives me the information and what it could mean for my car and leaves it at that. He doesnt try and convince me to spend more on something that can be put off or isnt a serious matter. I appreciate the honesty and straight forward nature of our interactions. I highly recommend Accurate Auto of Lake Oswego. Theyre kind people who do reliable work for a reasonable price on a huge range of vehicles. Go there. Do it. Now.

Always have had a positive experience with Accurate Auto. Years ago was told by a mechanic shop that the car I had needed an engine rebuild. Took it to Beaverton location and after diagnosing the problem, it was an issue that was solved with a few hundred rather than few thousand dollars. They could have raked me over the coals, and I wouldve been none the wiser. They didnt. Recently bought a used car that had a transmission problem. I feared the worst. They called back and told me the good news. Transmission fluid low, and dirty, and needed to be replaced, along with a transmission mount. Completely diagnosed everything else that needed to be done (little stuff). Saved my tail again. After picking up the car, the driver side door panel was loose (not their fault, I had just bought the car, and was just a little thing Im sure I hadnt noticed....had only had the car two days), but I had to crawl across the passenger seat to get in. Took it in and they fixed it for free, since I had just been in. They said "no worries, we appreciate the business". Honest. Friendly. Professional. Thorough (they dont just fix the obvious, but look for something that could become a problem in the future before it gets expensive). Wouldnt go anywhere else.

I finally found a repair shop that has excellent customer service, exceptional work and professional employees. I recently took my 2003 Ford Ranger into Accurate Auto Lake Oswego after reading their reviews online. I was unable to get the manual transmission into gear, it would engage but I was unable move the vehicle, even in neutral. I spoke with Bobby and he was able to get me into the shop the following day. I had to have the vehicle towed and they immediately began working on it. Since the vehicle had been sitting at my residence for sometime, the brakes actually had seized up and wouldnt allow the vehicle to move. They were able to back off the adjusters and the wheels broke free. I was relieved it wasnt the transmission! They fixed the issue and were also about to replace the spark plugs and ignition coil. The cost was accurate and they were honest from the beginning. Scott, even drove my truck to my residence since I was in another vehicle and wouldnt have been able to pick it up for another 2 days. The following week, the owner Rick Kersey, texted me and thanked me for my business and gave me a free oil change on my next service. They have definitely earned my future business. Thanks guys!

Called to ask a few questions . The person on the phone was very rude ! I asked: " What is your shop rate " he replied : " It is a moving scale and depends on whats wrong with the car " . I thought this was strange that there was not an hourly shop rate and when I paused to think and showed audible signs of concern the man got abusive . He asked if I knew what was wrong with the car (obviously not as Im calling a mechanic ) when I replied no he gave me another smart#@s answer and then hung up on me . I understand that people can be hard to eal with at times . I assure you I was not being difficult to deal with . I was trying to shop around for rates as my usual shop can not handle the problem I was having . In my experience it is a shady business practice to first not have a shop hourly rate and second to discount or diminish your NEW customers concern over what is described as a "sliding scale " rate .. Who determines what I pay ? or is it simply left up to how you feel for the day ? Becuase today you were a JERK and a smartA@# so I will take my business somewhere else ..

I have enjoyed a lengthy relationship with Accurate Auto as the owner of a Mercedes Benz 420E from a previous millennium. Being averse to making monthly payments, I plan on driving this car until the wheels fall off. Either me or the car. I am also a senior citizen on a fixed income, so theres that. Mark and his team @ AA of LO have been my champions. They have always been honest and thoughtful when diagnosing my cars malady du jour. I know that they have done research on my car for which I was not charged. My most recent episode was due to a faulty crankshaft position sensor. About 18 months ago they installed (with my consent) an after market sensor which subsequently failed. Two weeks ago it was replaced with an OEM sensor, the only charge to me was the difference in price. I think their work is excellent, their prices reasonable, and they actually care. Mark is understanding of my car payment philosophy and supportive of my wish to get another 100k miles out of my beloved old Merc. Thanks Mark!

On Sat. Feb. 20, 2016 my daughters car broke down on the freeway late at night. I live 160 miles away and had to trust that her car was towed to a reputable repair facility. After looking at Accurates web site and reading the many reviews I knew she was in good hands. Rick Kersey, the owner was able to work my daughters car in immediately Monday even though he was very busy, because he knew she had no other means of transportation. His crew diagnosed the problem and fixed it the next day. Rick kept me informed all along the way and turned what could have been a frustrating and costly situation for this dad into the most appreciated, professional and cost effective auto repair experience I have ever had in over 50 years of driving. Great job guys, and glad you liked the pizza. Dave LaFollette, Powell Butte, Oregon
