I have spoken with a woman name Carol. Extremely disrespectful. I simply wanted to know where my package was since it stated it was forwarded to Allentown when I live in Bethelehem. I requested to speak with a supervisor so I can get a clear answer on when I should be getting my package it is now 2 days over the delivery date. Carol stated that she is a supervisor and theres no one else she will give the phone to. So I accepted and asked her if I can pick it up whenever it gets to their post office. She then said to me "Maybe I should say this a little slowerrrrr since you can comprehend what I just said three times. " I thought I didnt hear her correctly so I asked her why she was speaking to me like I said something wrong. She then stated that Im the type of person who can get things through their head the first time. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. Especially from someone in the position of a supervisor. Im really just worried about my package so I then put that behind me and asked her again when I should expect it. She then stated "I dont know. Maybe 2 days. Maybe itll never come. I dont know what do you want me to do about it. I have other things to do here. " Then she hung up. I called back immediately and she answered again. This was the worst part of everything. She picks up and curses me out. Word for word she stated " Stop calling here you f*** b***. " I told her she cannot speak to a customer like that. She then stated that I was makeing derogatory remarks and shell call the police. I drove over to the post office. Met Carol in person. Her first reaction to seeing was even better. She was even MORE rude to me infront of my sister and her employees. She proceeded to tell me I wasnt raised properly and should speak to her with respect. I requested to speak to the Post Master Dan Mazzeo. Who as well didnt really care about the situation. My sister and I were explaining to him what Carol said to me. He interrupted to state " yeah lets not worry about that. How about we focus on this package." She then came up to the desk as well and began interrupting me to say " I didnt say anything if that prove it. " I requested Dan to pull the recorded call and hear everything she said. He then replied with " We dont record calls." My package still has never arrived. It was $160. I am very disappointed with how these employees can speak to us. It seems as thi theres nothing we can about either. Please, before purchasing anything do not go through USPS, your packages are not protected or treated with care.

I called the post office at 535 wood st in bethlehem. A woman by the name of carol answered. I called at 4:11pm on august 4th 2015. I am providing this info because i am aware that all phone calls are recorded and i would like Carols manager to listen to this phone call to listen to the customer service in which carol gave me. She was rude, disrespectful, and even dared to raise her voice at me. She claimed that i was not keeping the same story. I had told her that a package was supposed to arrive today at my address and was worried that IF IT WAS DELIVERED that it might get stolen. I NEVER SAID it was delivered. I asked her that if it was still in transit, if she could see if it was scanned to be in transit. She yelled at me and said that i was flipping the story because i told her it was delivered. She said she couldnt find out where it is because i dont have a NUMBER. Moments before, i had given her my CELL NUMBER and told her i gave it to her. She snapped at me in attept to clarify she meant TRACKING number. She was yelling at me for not understanding, yet she was the one not being clear and miscommunicating. I am not even mad about my package anymore. All i care about now, is that she be FIRED INSTANTLY! She clearly lacks the customer service skills to conduct herself in a well composed manner. And since she does not have those skills, the last place she should be working is a CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented company. Very disgusted. Never in my life have i had a person treat me so badly. And ive been through some terrible situations.

A few times our packages have been sent pack because the post office cant open our apartment building door (it has a code) so they will send all the mail back. When I visit the office or call them, I never have an issue. If you call, have the tracking number ready, it is as simple as that. They dont know who you are or how to help you if you are calling and yelling at them about your package, they probably have a million packages a day. Everytime I called, Carol has grabbed my package/mail before it gets sent back. When I go to pick it up, the front desk gets it for me. Overall, 5 starrs, but since 1 carrier cant open my front door, gotta give 4 stars. All of the other carriers are very friendly and will chat with me for a second if I see them. Never any serious issues. Just be ready with the info so they can help you quickly and move on to their next customer.

For days at length I tried to call the Post Office to schedule a passport application submission. No one answered. Eventually I gave up and called the Post Office on Commerce Way and bingo they answered and scheduled a meeting 2 days later. Before going there I went to the Post office on Wood St. and found out that you have to come in person to schedule a meeting and that you have to wait weeks before they have an opening. Luckily the Post Office on Commerce Way lets you schedule from one day to the next one and they pick up the phone when you call!

They lost my package because the carrier takes meds that cause blurry vision and put it on the wrong doorstep. I called and they told me it was delivered and told me to ask the neighbors. It is not my job to go around to neighbors and ask if they have my package. I was told I would receive a call back multiple times and I always had to call back to follow up. We found the neighbor with the package and States he gave it back to the post office. I yet to receive anything yet. Asked to speak with someone higher and was always told there was no one.

Like most other post offices, their hours of operation are HORRIBLE. THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. NEVER. Theyre only open for most people who work 8-5 M-F jobs within a narrow window on Saturday. When in the building, often theres only one service representative at the front desk. Lines are often long and take forever to process. This place rates only one notch above the DMV for lack of speed and customer service. Instead of the USPS, I recommend using UPS or FedEx for package services if possible. Youll have a much better experience.
