I set up my unit online and the process was seamless - I chose my size, entered some info, and Roni called me within the day - maybe even within the hour. They hooked me up upon arrival in a quick, 5-10 minute breakdown that explained all the fees and coverage for the unit. Having never used a storage facility before, I didnt know to bring a lock; luckily, they have a convenient little shop including locks, moving boxes, tape, etc. and I was able to get going. Roni is such an asset and provides amazing customer service. She goes above and beyond to make all processes associated with moving in and out of the unit painless - from opening the emergency gate to let a brigade of friends in to help me move to throwing salt down because things got unexpectedly icy. You rarely need to ask her for something; she just does it because she knows what customer service is. The units dont have lights, but that didnt bother me. I wasnt hanging out in there, just occasionally dropping stuff off/picking stuff up. Theres enough light in the halls that you could see just fine if you kept the door open. I cant say enough good things about this place. Thanks, folks. If I ever need a unit again, Ill be coming straight to you.

Today (September 20th 2017) I went to extra space storage and I had a very satisfying customer experience. My stress was relieved in knowing that I was treated well and taken care of by Ally Montiel. Her smile brightened up my day. If you had a challenging day I can say she has the ability to turn your frown in to a smile. In addition, Crystal McDonald delegated me to the right kind of storage for my furniture and ensured that I was comfortable while acknowledging my needs as a first-time customer. I can honestly say that I was extremely stressed before I came here. Both of these ladies work well as a team. They were so happy to help me and efficient at doing their job. The process was done in excellence there was zero confusion and everything was done in order. I appreciate their customer service at this location. I will recommend others to this location. I currently worked in the business and customer service field and I must say that I am pleased with the service I received today. Thank you again for your time today and God bless both of you ladies. I hope that this will be recognized and that you will be appreciated by others. Out of all the storage companies I can say you are one of the best.

The insurance that they make you pay is a scam. They say mold is normal in storage facilities but two different people I talked to use storage for long time and they never had any problems. Mice is not covered either. If the unit is not properly sealed as it should be and they dont have a good rodent control, thats your problem. My main complain is that there was a leak inside my unit and pictures show evidence of it. The manager lied to me saying she had talked to the insurance and explained it was justified and I would be reimbursed. The insurance company said she never did. I sent all the papers and info necessary. It has been almost two months now. The insurance company do not answer my phone calls. I lost two oriental rugs and the mold damaged couple of antique furniture. The damage was over $2000 and they think they are just going to walk away with it. They were very friendly with me too, while I was paying the rent that increased many times in a bit more than one year. Once I moved my things that "friendship" proved to be just bogus!

Overall, I was pleased with Extra Space for the 2+ years I rented there. Facility is clean, rolling carts almost always near my entrance. I had one security concern a year ago and was displeased with their response - a side gate was left propped open on a holiday weekend. Staff at both the local and corporate level were very dismissive of my concern for my safety and that of any other customers. I decided to vacate my unit because my monthly charge increased on at least a quarterly basis, if not more often. In two years, my total monthly bill increased by 50%, for no apparent reason - I was not getting more space, easier access, climate control. I felt that the company increased fees simply because they could - your stuff is stored there, so what are you going to do, move it all out? Yup.

This place is amazing. The storage facilities are clean, well lit, and easy to access. Our unit was located on the second floor. I figured it would be a pain to maneuver all of our stuff into the elevator and through the halls, but we managed just fine. There are plenty of moving trolleys and the elevator is spacious and has key pad protected entry. They provide excellent customer service. Ally, the assistant store manager, is prompt, very nice, and helpful. I pestered her with so many questions, but she was patient and happy to assist. Moving can be such an exhausting experience, so the great service at this place ended up being a real blessing. One less thing to stress about.

The managers both at this location and the king of prussia one were amazingly helpful during a very stressful situation for me. I was trying to find a place to store my 28ft travel trailer on a very last minute schedule. I made a reservation for a 10x30, thinking it would be big enough but didnt realize the height was only 8ft tall which wasnt nearly tall enough. The girl at king of prussia called around and the really sweet manager at the plymouth meeting location said she had a parking spot big enough. We raced over there got it all parked in the perfect backed in spot and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy my snow day!

I moved to a smaller apt. and needed some storage space that was economic and clean. Sal, the manager, was very personable and made sure we found the right size space for my needs. I walked away from some of the other companies as all they were interested in was over selling the size I needed. At ES the grounds and buildings were clean and obviously well kept, also the office was neat and orderly. I viewed most of the storage companies in the area and would recommend Extra Space Storage over all others. Only downside is access is not 24/7 but most storage in this area has limited access.

These guys are great. Theyre friendly and helpful; the facilities- clean, safe and easy to get to. The location is perfect: Close enough to all the major highways in the area, but not so close that you run into congestion. Ive been using this particular facility over a year and a half w/o incident. They send payment reminders, late notices, etc. via e-mail or text messages and theyre pretty lenient when it comes to your payment schedule too. I definitely trust these guys with my stuff! Two thumbs up! Keep up the exempliary work!

Great place to store your things. Very convenient to our location and exactly what we thought it would be when we saw the space in person. The only reason I didnt give it a full 5 stars is due to the fact that their one door gets stuck and its the door closest to our unit. We have to travel to a door farther away and that is hard when you have heavy things. They are aware and I hope it is fixed soon. other than that, great customer service and great hours! Our things feel safe and secure with 24 hour camera surveillance too.
