After searching for a place to store some things in the process of relocating from Georgia, I selected Extra Space storage because it consistently got good reviews, regardless of which facility I checked. I have to say, the good reviews were warranted. When I first called with my very specific needs (I wanted a bay big enough to store a few items and a car temporarily), Chanel told me that there were no available spots open currently, but offered to call other facilities on my behalf. I told her I appreciated the offer, but would check around myself later. Before I even had the chance to, though, Chanel called me back to say that someone had just moved out of a unit the size I needed and she wanted to call me immediately to see if I was interested so I could grab it before it was rented out again (I gather such units go quickly). Chanel was not only pleasant and helpful in general, but she went the extra mile to make sure I got the storage unit I needed for our big move. When we arrived at the facility, both Chanel and her co-worker were friendly, helpful, and efficient in getting things set up for us; they both also had a great sense of humor. I cant speak highly enough of Chanel and Extra Space Storage--they were great!!

If you are reading this, its probable that you’re looking for the best storage place around. Well, stop. No, seriously, stop. You’re done, and would you like to know why? Of course you would. It’s because you found the one. Extra Space Storage has, not only a convenient location right off of 276, climate controlled units or competitive pricing, but it also has some of the most amazing employees Ive ever encountered. The women I met today were professional, courteous and happy, what else can you ask for? I dont often write reviews, nor do I enjoy the process of moving that storing requires, but if you can believe me, I had a great time checking in, inspecting a unit before settling on a size, and going over the details of storing. So, you found your self-storage facility. Youre done. But it’s not over, it has only just begun.

When I first called, Lynn raved about Chris. And Chris did not disappoint! Within minutes of reserving a unit. Chris reached out to me. He was informative, thorough, patient, and a great resource. He went the extra mile in helping me with potential options for pallets and other supplies. Chris took time to walk me through the lease details which was very helpful. I also have to say a big thank you to Jody as she made sure I had the locks and moving supplies to ensure my belongings would be well protected while in transit and storage. I also appreciated Jody going the extra mile, in the pouring rain, to put the locks on my unit ! Both Chris and Jody were awesome ! I feel really good about the choice Ive made, knowing my belongings are in a great facility under great management.

At first, service was superb. Excellent space for belongings and a small car. 2 months later, I arrived and entered the facilities only to be shouted as if I was been arrested over the comm speaker. Once I announced I was a client, then the police officer tone came down. Then, as I entered the storage, I discovered water had entered the unit. Unit is the last of the row with one wall facing grass and terrain, so Im assuming it was bad luck. Nevertheless, as water got inside (damaging some items), humidity levels got so high that almost all boxes got soggy and lost their boxy sturdy property and leaned over their sides. It was very difficult to transfer them and by the time they all arrived, some had broken down. Wont recommend it.

The managers both at this location and the king of prussia one were amazingly helpful during a very stressful situation for me. I was trying to find a place to store my 28ft travel trailer on a very last minute schedule. I made a reservation for a 10x30, thinking it would be big enough but didnt realize the height was only 8ft tall which wasnt nearly tall enough. The girl at king of prussia called around and the really sweet manager at the plymouth meeting location said she had a parking spot big enough. We raced over there got it all parked in the perfect backed in spot and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy my snow day!

My daughter was moving out her college housing and I was moving away from where I had stored her things each summer. I called the morning I needed the unit and could not have been happier with the response, support and quick availability of our unit. When the representative showed us our unit the light was burned out, by the time we got to our cars and returned to unload, a new light bulb has been installed. I almost missed my payment due date but received a remiinder call instead of a late fee! Customer service does not get better! Thank you!

We recently relocated to the area and had to store a lot of extra stuff from our previous house. Based on the reviews I decided to go here and Im really glad that I did! Jodi and the other staff members are very nice and helpful at a caliber you rarely ever see. The unit has worked out well and stayed dry now through Summer into early Winter. Recently we decided to add on a climate controlled unit for items that we didnt first send to storage (pictures, books, etc.) That experience was much like the first and compelled me to leave this review.

I have used Extra Space on two separate occasions, and have always been impressed by their customer service. The office is clean and neat, they were willing to answer any questions, extremely knowledgable, easy to sign up with. I love the email payment reminders. One thing to note: you may not need the extra insurance they require. I called my homeowners insurance, and they cover anything we store off-site, so all I had to do was provide a copy of the dec page. Saved quite a few $$ a month by checking that out first!

Less than 5 minutes after placing my online reservation for a space, I received a cheerful call from the manager, Chris Torres. He laughed when I said, "Well, that was fast!" From that phone call plus the time it took to drive over, look at the unit and sign the papers...less than 45 minutes! The property is well maintained and Chris clearly explained the procedures and options. If all my business transactions went as smoothly as my experience with Chris and Extra Space Storage, life would be a breeze!

The moment I walked in the Manger Chanel immediately greeted me and was eager to help me with my storage needs. As a business owner I know the importance of good customer service and they were outstanding! I often receive shipments that I need to store in my unit. Extra Space actually excepts my packages for me and places them in my unit even if Im not there. That saves me so much time and allows me to schedule more jobs. Ive used this facility for both an inside climate controlled space and a drive up space. The facility is immaculate and professional. I would like to say that one of the staff members, Jodi Butcher, is especially helpful. She is extremely pleasant to deal with and went "over and beyond" the call of duty to help me with several issues related to my storage contract. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs to rent storage space!!
