I would like to make a suggestion that your employees familiarize themselves with your website. I called the Whitehall, PA location yesterday afternoon to schedule an appointment to have a hitch installed on my van. I had already put my vehicle information in online and it said the hitch was in stock at their location. I was hesitant to go ahead and pick an installation date because I didn’t want to pay for the hitch online and then discover they couldn’t schedule a time that would work with my schedule for that day. So I called to check first. The salesman, Jeff, was very rude and condescending. It was apparent from our conversation that he didn’t know you can see what is in stock by looking online. He told me that I was going in reverse order and putting the cart before the horse. He said that I wanted to make an appointment and I didn’t even know if they had the hitch I needed and that if they didn’t it could take 4-6 business days for them to get it. He said he had to go through the process of giving me a quote to see if they had what I needed. And, like I had seen online, the hitch was in fact in stock. I made the appointment, but I was so put off by the way Jeff spoke to me, making me feel like an idiot for trying to just call and make an appointment when I had already done my research, that I am cancelling that appointment and have ordered the hitch from another company and will go to someone else to have it installed. So Jeff just cost his company about $322 that I was willing to pay. He should not treat customers like idiots when they actually aren’t and they in fact DO know what they are talking about. But the good news is that by treating me the way he did, I wound up saving about $124 getting the hitch elsewhere. Thanks Jeff!

It was an absolute HORRIBLE experience . Spoke to a women on the phone days before (come to find out all calls go to a national call center) she was super helpful and went above and beyond. I wish I had her name cause after hanging up the phone with her the rest of the experience was HORRIBLE!! I arrive for my 7am wire harness install and as soon as he sees my truck- he is negative towards installing it and seems very lazy. the lazy piece of ____ wont even give me his name . I never have given a good or bad review on the internet before and I fell this is very necessary for me to do since this piece of _____ no good _______ was so rude, crude and socially unacceptable. oh yeah and seems so lazy. I have since filed a complaint with Uhauls national office. And I will be following thru with this since my first conversation with u-hual was recorded and it will clearly show that I was very specific with my trucks info and that the original lady that helped me was awesome. Well I dont feel any better after writing this and I will only feel better when this piece of _____ no longer works there. Please people go to another location save yourself alot of trouble!! cheers

Everyone who left a bad review was either unprepared because they just rolled out of bed and decided to move, or they thought they knew better than the employees who worked there and argued over policies. I went to Uhaul for a large moving truck and storage to keep my belongings in. I had all of the information and made plans prior and made reservations. I was respectful and so was the employee at the front desk. Everything went smoothly because I knew what I wanted. The employee even showed me out to the right truck in the lot. While I was waiting in line for the employees that were there to finish up helping other customers outside the people behind me were rude after waiting for a couple minutes and went out to look for someone to help them. I expect that it is these kind of people that leave bad reviews, and they probably leave bad reviews everywhere they go. My experience was great aside from the attitude of the other customers... but I just felt like I should mention that.

Worst location. Had our stuff shipped from Gilbert, Arizona to this location. Everything arrived on time and just fine. However, when I went to the store, the people were rude. I told the Manager that I would be arriving a few weeks later to pick up our items. Gave him the exact date and time. When that day came, he had no idea. I told him that I had explained this to him a few weeks ago. He also charged me for the U-Boxes. He told me he would issue a refund. Its been one week. I have yet to receive anything. They were rude when it came time to picking up the items. Manager and staff complain about how busy the days are. DUH, you work for a moving company. If you dont like busy, dont work there. Otherwise, dont complain. Would not work with them again. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely horrible people to deal with. I had set a reservation for a particular TIME and DATE. I asked them repeatedly to make sure a truck was set aside for that date. They told me i will get a phone call from someone that deals with reservations a few days prior to my reservation date. Well you see...i got the phone call...and guess what?! NO AVAILABLE TRUCKS FOR THAT SET TIME AND DATE! I even called 4 weeks prior to set the reservation. Uhual did not want to help me out and i asked for my deposit back. Went to PENSKE TRUCK rental off of Airport Road by THE PENN DOT building in Allentown. They had a truck ready for me even with a few days notice. Wow! Amazing! UHAUL=GARBAGE.

I ordered a hitch for my truck online. 2 days before my appointment to have it installed I am told they received the wrong one. This one is $200 more and the labor is double the original quote. But they were willing to give me $20 off the order since this was not my fault. How about giving me the original hitch or price since this is not my fault. The manager lacks customer service skills. He likes to use words some might find offensive. I am waiting to hear back from uhaul online and corporate about where the hitch I ordered truly is.

They suck, me and like 8 other customers were there waitting on line for 54 min yeah i timed it before they started moving the like. They are under staff and have no sence of urgency in there bones. Both guys are lazy, and the one guy Jeff is realy rude and has no customer service skills. At one point he disapear and left the other guy by him self so he could talk on his phone and have a shouting match with whome he was talking with never go there...

The people at this U-Haul are obnoxious. True, I was able to get the truck I needed fairly quickly, but then as I was about to pay, the manager, (I think he was trying to make small talk) asked me why I wasnt married at my age since I didnt need a large truck to move into a house. I thought that was an inappropriate and personal question to ask a customer. They do not have the people skills to be successful. Because of that, Im never going back.
