I was looking for a relatively inexpensive storage facility to store household items between closing on my home and getting a new place. I looked at several websites and places and decided that Public Storage in Plymouth Meeting seemed to be a good place to start. The Sales Associate (or whatever they are called) - Tia - was very courteous, answered all my questions and was efficient in filling out the paperwork. There was a LOT of paperwork but it was all straight forward and Tia was happy to answer my questions. I rented a 5 x 5 storage unit and I decided to get their insurance product. One of the things I dont like, is the receipt and billing. I had a coupon for the first months rent and, of course, the insurance. The receipt is hard to understand (even with Tias help). Basically, you pay for a full month up front and then the discounts are taken in the second month. Its a bit confusing when looking at the receipt. The fence around the facility is in fair condition (by this I mean I dont think someone that wanted to get through or over the fence would have too much trouble). The storage unit itself is fine. Public Storage supplies a lock. You need a number to enter on a keypad to enter OR leave the facility but the keypad post is set at an awkward position for leaving the facility. If you come down the end driveway, the keypad post is fine but if you are coming the other way, it is difficult to maneuver your car to access the keypad (possible but difficult). The facility is built on a hill so that the paved roads between buildings are a number of bumps, just as well to keep your speed down. Public Storage also sells a number of different size (and purpose) boxes, packing tape, etc. It is very handy but on the expansive side. I did not need or use any of their supplies. I have setup automatic billing and have had no trouble with billing. I would use Public Storage in the future - in fact, I realized about a week later that I needed more space and rented another 5 x 5 unit. The paperwork was basically the same but the sales associate (Mali) had a difficult time getting everything entered. I am not sure if this was because she was new or that my circumstance (getting a second unit) is usual and Mali just wasnt sure how to handle it. Mali did call their support desk several times and it was taken care of in the end.

My recent experience at the Public Storage Plymouth Meeting location was a most pleasant one. Firstly, I would like to commend this business on its dedication to customer service and on the awareness your associates convey to fellow patrons. This being my first ever visit to a storage facility office, I wasnt quite sure what to expect or entirely what I wanted; I was currently in the process of packing and I needed ample supplies to assist me in said move. I came into the establishment presumably anxious, and slightly unaware of my business there. Upon arrival, I was instantly greeted by a lone associate, Terrance. After he greeted me, he then inquired my whereabouts as to what I was looking for. Feeling exhausted and presently overwhelmed, I expressed to him that I was in need of moving supplies but I wasnt at all sure where to start. I was embarrassed seeing that all of the equipment around me was blatantly self-prescribed, nevertheless he stood up to walk me around the establishment to show me all of the different equipment available. He asked me some really good questions to guide me on my search for proper moving equipment which became extremely helpful also cost effective. I expressed to him that I was looking for a box that could protect any garments that were on hangers. I was promised one, but the person that was going to give it to me never came through. Without another word, he showed me to a demonstration of an open box with a large metal beam in it. Before he tells me that its a wardrobe box and that it comes in two sizes, I already added both to my list. "Say less," I completed my shopping trip feeling the opposite of exasperated, even though moving can be immensely stressful. I really felt as though my time was appreciated, my needs were acknowledged and my business was welcomed. Thank you, Public Storage.

I cleared out my unit because every time I visited the security gate was open. Hours posted are 9-6 and when I tried to return my key and check out the attendant was "eating lunch" and asked me if i couldnt read the sign said he would return at 1:45? He came outside to yell at me because I didnt understand. Then he accused me of being a racist and having a problem since he was black. Shortage of items is not an issue here, but if you want safe secure, hassle free, and not being accused of being racist, I would look elsewhere.

Yesterday I had a leak in my home this is morning which I needed emergency storage for my properties. When online and Google the information and seen that Public Storage had space available. Made reservation around 3:00 am and by 9:00 am the next morning received a call from Chandler from Public Storage stating, “Do I need any further assistance?” Once I got to the store warm and friendly person and the transaction was very smooth.

Because of a house fire, I needed to remove all of the salvageable contents of my home in two days. I looked around in the area and not only was Public Storage the least expensive, but Tiffany was the friendliest and most helpful. She kept me abreast of a unit opening up and then made me aware of the one right next door also opening up. She has been so responsive and friendly and helpful.

My experience with this location of Public Storage has been phenomenal. And Tiffany, the site manager, has been simply amazing to work with. I needed to switch units and Tiffany went over every option available to make sure I chose the best option for me. She takes her time and gives her undivided attention. I will always use Public Storage for my extra storage needs!

I usually dont write reviews but Tiffany at Public Storage is so amazing I just have to! I rented for two months and when I did my clean out she called me two minutes after I left to tell me I left something behind. She kept a curtain rod for me until I came to pick it up. She is so sweet, nice and informative that you should definitely rent from her!

It was an absolute breeze getting set up here. This is my first time getting a storage unit and Dan got me settled so quickly - he was even able to get me into a unit that fit my needs better than what I initially reserved online. Very nice people work here! A little pricey, started at a good price and went up a little bit too high for my liking. Theyre all about the same just try to get it in your contract where the price doesnt go up other than that all good. Theyre all the same!
