Shame to say, a horror story in the making – as the building needs to be condemned due to the overwhelming fact of an ever present rodent infestation that will ruin any and all valuables that storage owners place at the perils of this poorly kept storage facility. This storage facility is located off of Old Germantown – which the surrounding area has been under major reconstruction – which adds to increased mice infestation. Many residents and incoming folks that have been part of Ming Self Storage facility, often complain that management does little or nothing to help protect storage owners of their overwhelming rodent problem. I would advise – if you are seeking to save a few dollars by having your personal possessions stored at an inferior facility – that does not take extra care in protecting its patrons, then I would suggest in shelving out a few more dollars to secure storage facility. Pros: None to mention Cons: Better buy insurance if you store anything in this storage facility. There have been many known incidents occurred where storage owners have had damages occur by way of rain, and if the owner had no insurance – they would be out-of-luck – with no recoup of property lost.

I have rented one of their smaller units for a full year and I am removing my belongings and moving it to another storage facility IMMEDIATELY. They have TERRIBLE customer service. They add on all these ridiculous "late fees/charges" every month. And with every payment Ive ever made, theyd send me an email telling me that I owe them more money. They put a lock on my unit and charged me a "lock fee" as well as an "auction fee" [totaling WELL over $100] for owing them $5 !!! FIVE DOLLARS FOLKS!!! .. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Theres a gentleman who used to work the front desk who was always so professional and pleasant. But theres this lady [the supposed manager] whos been handling my acct lately and she SUCKS!! Im filing a complaint with the company this weekend. note: this was at their GERMANTOWN location

THIS PLACE IS GHETTO! They are also dumb. No more need for any more commentary. I called this place to get a quote and the person that answered the phone was unintelligible. I was placed on hold and he acted like he didnt know how to answer the very simple question "How much is a 10 x 10 storage space per month?" He eventually found out that "Ive just been informed that we dont quote prices over the phone."

I been storing with them for a few years. Had a rain storm and they had a leak they knew about. There system malfunctioned and are telling me that I didnt get there insurance. Because I have military renters insurance. There not being responsible for there mistake. Dont rent from them.

Excellent rental service. I picked up a U-Haul trailer at this location, and the employee who assisted me was incredibly helpful and friendly. She was able to answer my questions over the phone and got me an earlier pick-up time so I could start moving out earlier.
