Please disregard the review I wrote yesterday based on the experience I had with the companys policy regarding their definition of "month." It was a one star review which called the companys business practices "deceptive." While I havent changed my mind about that, a manager has tried to make certain that this entire experience with the company is a positive one. He has succeeded. I am very impressed with this gentleman and have not only been reimbursed, but promised that the issue I had would be brought up with senior management at an upcoming meeting. So, I am satisfied with this action and want to reiterate that the Jenkintown site is clean, well run and has good management. Brittany is very knowledgeable and helpful. The place is clean, safe and well lit. Even the restrooms are clean. Now, I can honestly say, Public Storage, here in Jenkintown at least, deserves 5 stars. However, for anyone planning to use it--make sure you understand what a month rental means. ...hopefully, they will be far clearer about this in the future. In the meantime, I cannot delete the other review, but do wish all who are reading this will take this new information into consideration. Overall, renting a space at Public Storage was a very helpful, reasonable decision for me and if you, like me, are moving far away, it can a godsend.

Heres why the one star: deception. One month free means one month free. Dictionary definition of a month? Go check. How do you prorate 0--you cant, math wizards. One month is either 28, 30 or 31 days. Charging me $4 extra for vacating a months rental in 3 weeks? Seriously? That $4 fee is insulting and will cost you any repeat business from me and anyone I know. I also will make certain that everyone within reading distance knows about it. As far as other concerns? Brittany is great. Others at the store? Well, lets put it this way--they leave and lock up before the store is supposed to close. The storage units are clean and the carts are fine. BUT, this company will cheat you if you dont pay attention.

I had the pleasure of working with Ray recently at the Jenkintown facility. Ray is upbeat, pleasant, articulate, utterly approachable and most importantly competent. He handled multiple clients and what appeared to be potentially awkward client situation in the office with great skill, smoothly turning an uncomfortable experience into smiles all around. Schlepping stuff in and out of storage is never fun, but Ray is certainly a bright spot in an industry where Ive seen some pretty dim people. Public Storage is lucky to have an individual of Rays caliber manning the front lines. I suspect hell be headed to the management ranks pretty soon.

Ok facilities, but broken carts, trash lying around. Rented here for 5 months and same trash and broken cart with staff hiding in the office. Misleading sales pitches - was told two other people can access unit with ID. Reality is they can access the facility but not the unit...I guess to play hide and seek if desired. Also raised price with little notice and keep full months rent if close after the sixth of the month - no pro rata refund for the unused days. Nice technique to be paid twice for those days. Would have better customer reviews with some small changes. Will rent elsewhere next time.

Jasmyn was very helpful ,check in was very good I was able to reserve it online for a discount I wanted an outside storage that was 24hours,the property is safe and well lit,I already had public storage at Oxford ave location and they had already debited the money for Oxford and jasmyn was able to have them post the payment back to my account and she really made my day,she was very knowledgeable and on the ball and made my switch go very smoothly. Thank you very much Jasmyn.

Even though I was transferring spaces in the middle of the busiest day of the month, Ray made time to explain everything to me in great detail and walk me through the entire process. He was extremely professional and polite, and he even helped me move my couch from one unit to the next. ... 05/16 - I bumped down to a smaller unit late on a Saturday, and Wanya took care of everything extremely efficiently even though it was nearing the end of the day.

Ive had my storage space for 4 months now, but Im just getting around to writing this review. Chandler was really friendly. Im new to the area, and he had a lot of helpful suggestions and recommendations. The location is on a busy street, so I feel comfortable going there after the office hours to access my space. Ive seen police patrols going through the lot. Huge plus, ladies, because storage spaces are inherently creepy.

upon moving out of this space, customer service mgr.Ray, was very helpful, alert and pleasant. his overall personality and professionalism should be mirrored by all staff to ensure the best level of service for future customers. I made a reservation came in today and a girl named Jasmyn helped me out. She was very friendly and told me how to protect my belongings while in storage. My first time storing experience went smooth and it was because Jasmyn was so helpful! She has definitely given me 5 star service

We store here with our company and have a number of spaces. David is always nice and helpful when we have questions. Its inside and in a parking garage so you dont have to worry about the weather when moving, which is a plus. Had a billing issue that was handled fast and efficiently.

First time using a PS (or any external storage rental), and was pleasantly surprised. Not only were the staff helpful and knowledgeable, but they were super friendly. David (cant recall his last name) was particularly helpful to my husband and I. Would recommend.
