I took my car to Rapco Automotive on Hunting Park Ave in Philly due to an oil leak. I was told I had a valve cover leak and oil pan leak. Was told either it will be $1200 to repair or just dump oil in Pan every week. Hmmmm Strange right? So I am a mobile app developer in the area and I create them for the Automotive industry, so I called another client and he tells me yeah my car has the same problem but is suck a pain in th arse to fix just dump oil every 1000 miles. Im like hmmmm strange right? So I need a third opinion and I brought the car to Bruce at Rapco. He has my car checked and found a different leak a distributor seal and took my car right in and had it fixed in say 3 hours. Also just watching how they work with the other customers is very professional and I now feel like out of the 50 clients I have in automotive industry Rapco is number 1 on my list. Just left here from getting my car serviced my brake light was not working and this was the 3rd visit to them for same problem. Ive paid what my bill was EVERYTIME for this repeat problem repair and they had the nerve to say in annoyance that they arent gonna keep fixing my car free of charge!! I have never received anything free from them not even a water! I politely corrected the service man and told him Ive never received anything free from here and he couldnt even correct himself! Not only did I think they were good but customer service is important and they lacked it today! My job gets all 6 of our company vans serviced here But not anymore! Very rude and inconsiderate to a paying customer!!

I called Rapco when I suspected that my starter had failed. Mike took my call and was polite and knowledgeable He agreed to look at my car promptly and I took it in next day. I was very concerned because my car is 14 years old but I cannot afford to replace it, or put much into its repair. Upon brief examination, the mechanic noticed that I was due for inspection and offered this service as well. I agreed. Within a couple of hours I received a call that my car had passed inspection and that my "starter" problem was just a result of loose battery cables! I will recommend this business to anyone who looks for a fair and reputable auto service center. THANK YOU RAPCO!!

Upon calling for an inspection appointment I was able to get a next day service. The service was comprehensive and going beyond the call of duty... made me and my car feel well taken care of without excessive costs. At the end, all service related issues were clearly explained ....and all this with a great attitude and a friendly smile. Highly recommended for all those who are looking for an honest and competent car service that is always overly accommodating but never overcharging! They will actually try to save you money! An unusually rare service and experience in this rough big city of Philadelphia!

Rapco is a great family business that has been around for decades. My father first introduced me to them when I was younger, so once I got my own car if I didnt go to the dealer rapco was next in line. They do wonderful work and if you have any problems with the work they done, its no hassle with taken it back. I have dealt directly with Jay or Mike who always accommodate me when I have to drop my car off before i got to work, there the best. Overall I recommend rapco for any automotive needs, its just like going to the dealer but cheaper and better.

I have a 91 Buick Regal. I know that it is a old car but I still wanted it to run good. I guess you could say that I have big expectations and a low budget. When I came into Rapco I did not know what to expect because like some of the big chain stores like Midas and Meineke you pay as you way however, after a thorough inspection of my car which was free the Rapco team met and exceeded my expectations. The car purrs like a kitten and I completely recommend Rapco to anyone who is looking for fair,honest,friendly an dependable service. GO RAPCO !!!!!

Truly a wonderful experience! The gentlemen at RAPCO were truly the best! After taking my wifes truck to be repaired (excellent craftsmanship) and noticing the smile that was left on her face, I decided to take my own car in tô be serviced (brakes, engine mounts and a few other issues) also some cosmetic upgrades! These guys truly know the business, detailed explanation, timely and kept me abreast of the issues and most important to me, EXCELLENT customer service! Although a customer, I felt more like Family! I highly recommend this auto repair shop. I came in for the first time in a stressful situation with my car that needed immediate attention. Everyone in the shop was kind and caring and took the time to listen and assure me that they could and would fix the problem in a timely manner. Within half hour, my car was test driven, diagnosed, and repaired!! While waiting I sat in nice comfy leather couch and read a fashion magazine. It was my most comfortable car repair experience ever! Brakes Grinding & shaking, ABS and Traction Light intermittently coming on. Took my car to Pep Boys twice! Took may car to RAPCO...Once and got the problem diagnosed which turned out to be Broken Axles & Misaligned Tires (How come the BOYS couldnt figure that out). My car was fixed & returned all in the same day. Excellent customer service. Great explanations of the services they provided on my car, and my hubby and I got an awesome t-shirt.

With top tier customer service and reliable work, Rapco is definitely a hidden gem in the Philadelphia area. The staff is very honest and knowledgeable and make you feel more than comfortable. They give you a lot of information about your car without being over complicated or overbearing. I drove out of their garage feeling extremely satisfied and confident about my car. This was my first visit but I will most likely return for future repairs.
