Update 9-21-16 Well its been a busy summer at the local Circus known as the Red Lion Post Office. Best adventure was over a 3 week period when carrier put everyones mail in the wrong community mailboxes. Not like 100 went in 102. More like 100 was in 107, 102 was in 110 just totally random like the mail was tossed in without even attempting to find the right slot. Upside: got to know my neighbors better each evening as we knocked on each others doors exchanging our mail. Downside: Some mail lost as a result + neighbors handling all of my mail. Second best adventure was attempting to interact with Rick today. He shouldnt be in customer service. Neither should a repo truck driver. And yet, a repo truck driver would have been a welcome upgrade. Third adventure: trying to find out when the postmaster IS there. Apparently, the answer is NEVER, because Im stonewalled whenever I try to reach him/her/mythical creature. Update 1-17-16: So the last time they gave me the key labeled "Does not work" I visited them in person and expressed my frustration. I was assured that they would finally stop giving out the key labeled does not work. Fast forward to today. I went out to retrieve a package I was expecting. Guess what #%*%#*# key is waiting for me?!?!?!?!?!??! Out of sheer morbid curiosity, I tried it in the package lock. As advertised, the key labeled does not work in fact does not work. Just like all the other times they issued it. FML I simply cannot wrap my mind around the incompetence and sheer stupidity of this situation. Previous reviews: Took them 6 months to replace a broken town home community mailbox. I had to drive to the post office every day to get my mail. Turned out it was a series of ordering mistakes made by the postmaster that kept us from getting a replacement box in a few days or weeks. Half a year is a long time not to be able to easily get your mail. Another fun experience: this community mailbox has small individual boxes for each persons mail, plus two large compartments for when residents receive packages. The idea is the mail carrier leaves the key in your box, so you can then unlock the larger compartment and retrieve your package. So imagine my consternation when the key left for me is labeled in big, bold letters KEY DOES NOT WORK IN LOCK. And sure enough, by golly, it wont unlock the mailbox. I called in and they made some lame excuse for leaving me a key which is labeled with the tag KEY DOES NOT WORK IN LOCK. A day later, I was able to get my package, which had spent the night 25 yards from me, but inaccessible. Soooo today, I head out to retrieve another package, and God help me, THEY LEFT ME THE SAME FREAKING KEY LABLED "KEY DOES NOT WORK IN LOCK" Even if you are a complete robot, if someone points out that you are blindly performing the same mistake over and over, wouldnt you correct the error?

This post office absolutely sucks! Dont expect any resolution from any problem you have with them. A gray haired older bad attitude lady who was delivering mail this past Saturday in my neighborhood deliberately skipped over my neighbors & I group of mailboxes which would be a group of 10 on one big mailbox. She lied & said the mail was undeliverable when it was deliverable. I watch her ride pass the mailbox without delivering the mail. Last time I checked that was against the law. So I went up to the Red Lion post office & asked to speak to a Supervisor on Monday...he was eating lunch so we had to leave our number he said he would call back...he didnt call back. We go back up there Tuesday morning & once again the prick is too busy & makes up some excuse as to why hes too busy to come speak with us for a minute as to why this very rude & incompetent postal worker wouldnt deliver our mail on Saturday. We shall see if he calls us back today but I wouldnt hold my breath. This is the worst post office Ive ever been to. Bad customer service.

Concurr with other reviewers. Waiting for a package ordered from ebay and it is late. It actually took less time to come from overseas to the first destination in the us. Once it got to the states the fun begins. It seems the post office either likes to hang on to mail or play pass the mail with other post offices. Now instead of them delivering it I have To go pick it up and possibly wait in line because they are understaffed at the red lion post office. Unfortunately the problems here are emblematic of the bloated and inefficient machine called the usps that are prevalent with this agency nationwide. Next time I order an item online my criteria will be that it is delivered only by a private carrier. The extra money expended for ups or fed ex is well worth it considering the incompetence and headaches dealing with usps. If I can avoid dealing with the post office I will. Oops I forgot..they still deposit loads of junk mail in my box despite my asking them to stop.

They seem to always be in a rush and most likely wont spend time to explain things to you. Despite that theyre always so cold. Last time I went to deliver a box that I had already taped with masking tape. The first lady checked my box and it had not shipping label on it. So she asked me to fill out on then line up again. But she was off by the time I came back in line. So another lady checked my box again and said that I cant use masking tape since it will wear out. I either have to buy their tape or go buy duck tape somewhere then come back blah blah blah! She just cant take my box. So I tried to ask her some questions. But all she was doing was saying some useless thing that didnt even answer my questions. FINE! I know its your rule that I cant use masking tape. But the first lady wouldve told me while she was checking my box throughly. I couldve gotten it right the second time. Seriously!

Someone needs fired and seriously needs a mental evaluation. They are rude ignorant and incredibly spiteful. I didnt want to believe so many mistakes could happen but after I finally had enough and complained down at redlion its been a nightmare ever since its gotten worse. My packages frequently go from out for delivery to returned or forwarded to another state. My latest package was out for delivery here this week. It never arrived. They had it on the truck for delivery. It then went to Tennessee from there Tennessee Sent it back to Pennsylvania redlion then redlion sent it back to Florida were it was originally sent from. If you call them they can never give you an answer to why you have so many issues getting your packages and mail. All these people cant be wrong! Im filing a complaint and asking for an investigation. I suggest that you all do too!

Nothing but crooks!! Ive lived in my house for 4 years and Ive had nothing but problems with Red Lion post office. I got left a nasty note all because there was some snow on my three little porch steps one year. Two Christmas ago, they lied and put that my package was delivered through the tracking service & it wasnt. I had to call and ask what was going on, where is my package? It arrive the next day, OPENED!! It was a PSP for my son. Numerous letters have arrived opened and then taped shut. NOW my tracking says package was undeliverable today at 10:18 am. Then at 5:16 PM it says "moved, left no address." I WAS HOME ALL DAY & CERTAINLY HAVE NOT SOLD MY HOUSE & MOVED! Im so INFURIATED!! THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!
