Worst experience ever. The rudest customer service interaction I have ever dealt with from the moment I walked in to this poorly run establishment. Lady at front desk was very nice. Woman behind her stared and questioned us why were here. Jim seemed nice at first but ended up being extremely rude, abrupt, and unwilling to help. How this place is running a business is beyond my understanding. The service was so bad, I went as far as to think it could have been racism or profiling. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. On top of the horrible service, the apartments were extremely disgusting. The carpets were extremely stained. And when pointed out, I was told to put "a rug on it" and received even more attitude in response. Starting at the lowest of my budget, I asked to see an apartment $170 more per month. Jim refused to show me saying "Youre not being practical! You just jumped from $505 a month to $675 a month" as well as "It seems like were unable to please you and youre being unrealistic." I was prepared to spend upto $800 if necessary but who doesnt like saving money when they can, right? It got very awkward in the car and he continued to mention how he doesnt want to argue with me when there was no argument. Once we got back to the office parking lot, Jim proceeded to tell me "Please take our telephone number off your list for inquiries. Dont call us. Youre unrealistic and we cant please you so we have no reason to do business with you." Personally, I never hesitate to spend more money elsewhere if Im being given better service. Its completely unacceptable and unprofessional to be treated that way when you want to spend money with them. I will never be doing business with them and will make sure to advise everyone in the area to be cautious.

So Disappointing...No..better yet Disgusting the way they treat their tenants. I have been renting my apartment through these people since December of last year. They were nice at the beginning, but started to show their rudeness a few days before lease signing. I didnt put to much mind to it because I knew i would pay my rent on time, and i would not be living with management. But since I have moved in, I have had issues with my toilet since day one....and have made calls to management being that we are not allowed to make any repairs ourselves. The maintenance guy was very rude and yelled at my wife on the phone for not calling during normal work hours. Are you serious? Your on call buddy....he shows up..is here for 15 mins, un clogs the toilet with a snake and leaves. The next day another guy was sent to replace the toilet, which did not need to be replaced. We then receive a bill of $432 dollars...charging us for his over time, his mileage because he lives 2 hours away and the price of a new toilet. Now as long as Im concern, on call means you need to be available at anytime to make repairs. The guy works for Village Realty so why do I have to pay for his over time? I get in touch with the Owner of Village Realty and He was the Biggest jerk of all...Now I know why they are so rude, they follow his lead. he tells me that I shouldve fixed the problem myself If I didnt want to pay these fees. No where in my lease does it state that I have to pay for any work done in the apartment....especially not no overtime or mileage fees. Maybe his people should work closer to home if traveling is an issue. Now we will be going to court. Never again will I deal with them....cant wait for my lease to be up.

The townhome was beautiful. We loved it. Plenty of space. But when it came to maintenance, it was absolutely awful. The tenants who lived prior to us managed to flush a toilet bowl brush down the toilet, causing one of our toilets to be unusable. After calling multiple times and being told it wasnt an emergency because we had another bathroom, they sent someone out. The guy smelled like he smoked a lack of cigarettes right before coming in and in the process of snaking the toilet brought up a whole mess of sewage that splashed over the walls and floor and didnt clean it up. He said he couldnt find the problem and left. After almost 4 months of dealing with the problem, the toilet would start over flowing when we used the shower and upstairs toilet, causing our basement to flood. The office tried telling me I would have to call a plumber and pay for it and i told them they would have to go back in their records to see this has been a problem since we moved in. Finally they came and found the problem and fixed it. Another problem is with snow removal. Tenants are responsible for their car, stairs, and porch, which we understood but they would pick and choose which spots they would plow. There were 3 spots directly in front of our place that were not parked in, and 5 days after the most recent snow storm they are still not even touched. They also dont plow out the mailboxes. Although our townhouse was nice I am so unbelievably happy to be done with this company...and so glad to never have to deal with them again.

Overall, I have had an excellent experience with my apartment (Green Meadows in Dallastown). Maintenance issues have been very few and far between (and then promptly corrected). The location is excellent; the apartment is only a few miles from I-83, shopping, restaurants, etc., yet the complex is generally quiet and well-maintained. That being said, its not too hard to hear what your neighbors are up to, but thats to be expected in an apartment complex, and its nothing unreasonable. The apartments (especially the appliances) are a bit dated, but having a washer and dryer in the actual apartment is a huge plus (especially in this price range). Everything (heat, hot water, appliances) is electric, so your electric bill will be rather high in the winter, and the complex does not allow pets (which may be a disappointment to some, but it also means you do not have to worry about barking dogs at all hours of the day and night). I looked at several apartment complexes in the York area before deciding on this one and found it to be very reasonably priced in comparison to other apartment complexes in the area.

Our town home is very spacious. They are great landlords, they promptly answer your repair request. If you get a town home you will have 13 steps to get to your living room and 13 more to get to your bedrooms. The restrictions her limits your enjoyment. They Dont allow gas or charcoal grilling on the property. Grilling with an electric grill is like grilling in my stove. Also rent just went up this year that was not explained in the lease. When the repair guys work outside on your four neighborhoods homes. Keep in mind the electric out let he is using my be yours and you are paying for them to work on everyones home for days. Remember to keep that breaker off it will save you a lot of money. They say no pets in the lease . But my neighbor walks her dog to the mailbox everyday. We are looking to move next year. We love animals and entertaining with friends. Although this place has pos the cons are starting to out weight the pros. P.s. if you have kids Dont forget to take in there toys. The lawn mowing people will run them over and damage their toys. Welcome to the neighborhood.
