After finding a 3x3 hole cut with wire cutters in our units wired ceiling and items missing and crushed, customer service was deplorable. Police called and commercial breaking and entering case filed. A crime scene investigator needed unit empty to test further. She found evidence of tampering, fingerprints on a beam, trash left on wire above, and evidence that framing had been bowed. We had a unit right near entrance. They wanted to charge us MORE for a same sized unit unit FARTHER AWAY. And we were supposed to empty the entire thing (which we were willing to do, but not paying more). There are no cameras above the units. Basic customer service would offer a comparable unit with a DISCOUNT after such an incident. The district manager was called, Tamika Thompson, after we asked for a manager and she reiterated charging us more to more. Completely unacceptable and worrying. Is it possible that your employees previously worked for United Airlines? While we were not dragged from the premises, we waited for three hours with no resolution. We will be moving out soon. Our advice, dont use this facility. Ever. If you do, buy the most expensive insurance option. And make sure your policy covers contents of such units.

Im no stranger to Public Storage but I have to say that the service that I received from the staff was incredible! When I first came in to rent my unit, I was greeted by Andrei. He was not only helpful, he was super-nice with a great attitude. He had a very easy-going way about him, unlike some other managers who come off as sales robots, which isnt something I enjoy. He was quick to answer any questions and, my having a background in sales and customer service, I love when I have a great experience with someone in the same field! Good stuff. The next day I came in to start moving my belongings in and met the Property Manager, Nikki. She was also awesome and helpful with a great attitude. The lobby and the property itself was very clean and well-maintained, and my unit worked very well for my needs. Over all... a great experience!

Maggie & Nikki in the front office were great. They were friendly, efficient and helpful. Where I have a problem is the up-keep of the property. It is horrible. The move in area is dirty. The push carts (which there are only 3), were filthy, old and small. Missing panels in the elevators. Lights out on the 3rd floor. Not well maintained at all and definitely reflects that the company is NOT putting money back into the place to keep it in nice condition. Which is uncalled for with the rates they are charging. Their competitor next door - EZ Storage - has plenty of carts, extremely clean, pleasant staff and well maintained. I was very disappointed with my move into the facility and will probably affect the time that I will stay and put up with these conditions.

I just started an account with public storage in Pasadena, MD and I Have to say my experience there so far has been wonderful :) Nikki the front desk person was very patient and accommodating. I was uncertain of what size to get and went back 3 separate times, the final being with my husband. And each and every time Nikki was just as pleasant, patient and accommodating as the first. She is very knowledgeable and helpful too. I love that the units are all climate control and I love that they offer the reservation discount. I also am a huge price compare shopper and I found their prices to be better than the others while offering more than the others. Also, the above and beyond customer service by Nikki made the whole experience a triple A+++.

At first glance you would say they are great but they really are not. They really dont take care of their long term customers. After they get you to rent at a lower price they will raise your rent by 10% a year. I have had several units for over five years and one has been increased in price over 50%, they know how hard it is to move your things after a period of time. Their web site also has had parts under construction for years forcing you to go the office. I tried to rent a second unit using the on line discount but got to the office to sign the paper work and was told the online discount did not appliy because I already rented there. There are too many other options so go there first.

Nikki was so helpful! My Aunt Suzi and I stopped in and had a few things that we needed help with- one administrative fix for billing since Suzi lives out of state, and two old locks that needed to be cut since we couldnt find any of our keys. Suzi had previously called and spoken to both Nikki and Lindsey, who were both very helpful. The girls had obviously kept each other updated on what Suzi needed, and Nikki was prepared! She was courteous and professional, and a true pleasure to talk to. We felt very well taken care of, and while we hope we dont need help with getting locks cut again, we were so appreciative of the wonderful service Nikki was able to give us!

Most of the reviews you are reading here are people that have just signed up for their storage units. The real truth is from the people that have been there a while. I was also very happy when I first signed up. Now is a different story. Nothing at this place works and if they happen to fix it it seems to break again. Also no one will listen to you if you have a complaint. Seriously I have tried. The district manager has a good story but then again things never seem to get done. The real story here at the Pasadena Public Storage is they really do not care about you or your stuff that is being stored there. BEWARE

I was in a bind. I didnt know how to pack some fragile items like a TV set and artwork for my dads move to Florida. I was driving down Ritchie Highway when I saw Public Storages big picture window. I could see a lot of boxes just inside the window so I stopped and went in to ask for help. Nikki assured me that they did indeed sell boxes, even to people who were not renting space. I told her what I needed to pack and she found me exactly what I would need, including bubble wrap. She was very helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions. Now I know where to go when I have a packing question.

The Staff is always friendly and helpful. I cant remember who was there when I rented - he was covering. He was great! Typically, I deal with Nikki. Shes always helpful. The 2 complaints that are worth mentioning are about layout and functionality. I dont like that the gate is frequently stuck open. I dont like that the key pad to get into the gate is so close to the gate that you have to back up in order to drive through it. The lesser complaint is that you solicit reviews. If I hadnt been solicited via phone call while I was at work, I might have given a higher rating.

Nikki!!! She was the sale association who HELPED!! She was VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL!! She took time to make sure that every was just right for my storage space needed !! Her PLEASANT manners was GREAT!! We need more sale people like her in the world!! She was welcome and warm personal was a pleasures to deal with!! She also did a call next day to she how the move was going if i needed any think!! She was smile and just great! I never know getting a storage unit would be so pleasure!
