My car buying experience here was just about the same as anywhere else you would go. Inquire about the vehicle and ask the best price, and get hounded about when can you test drive it and all that happy garbage. My issue was how my car was when I did purchase it and go to pick it up. 1. the car was taken to the car wash to get cleaned, and was still wet even when I picked it up. they were nice enough to fill the gas tank though.............. 2. I was told that the radio was XM capable. Checked the other day, and turns out, NOPE! 3. there wasnt any carfax or history reports on the car. it was a govt vehicle in the Dominican republic. that being said, I noticed that one headlight was yellowed, and the other looked brand new. considered it having been in an accident, but the body looked fine. went to trade my car in recently, only to be told that the vehicle had clearly been in a major accident and was repaired, and that any competent garage worker could tell that. So either the people that inspect the vehicles arent competent, or they decided that it wasnt necessary to disclose this information (which yeah would have hurt their chances of selling the vehicle), but having known that, I definitely overpaid for this car. was not satisfied with the overall experience, and would be hesitant to go back for another vehicle.

We had a great experience at Scranton Dodge . From the first minute we met Richard Fissler, we felt at ease and comfortable, Great Customer Service! We went there to look at one specific vehicle that was listed on their site. We had looked at several other vehicles at other dealers in our price range and this one was well above our expectations in quality and condition. Richard spent the time with us and never pressured or rushed us. We went there 3 visits to complete the deal and even took a day to think about our purchase after the first visit. It is a big decision spending this kind of money. We went back to put our deposit down and a second test drive, and the last visit to finish the paperwork and bring our new to us, 2010 Jeep to her new home. He followed through on promises and even brought up things we didnt think to ask about. It really felt like he wanted us to be Comfortable and Happy with our Purchase, not just sell us a car. We forgot to ask about the Carfax, and it was in my email before we got home from the first visit. We will be recommending him and Scranton Dodge to anyone looking to buy a vehicle new or used. I first have to say, I have been to a lot of dealerships, and this has been the first time I really wanted to write a review. I saw a jeep compass on the website, and from the minute I sent my first email, till today that I drove away with the jeep, I have to say, everyone was fantastic. I want to thank Richard J. Fissler Jr. whom was my salesman since the first email he sent me, till the signing of my paper work, you were great. I want to also thank Brian Weber, whom went for a test drive with us, you made my first ride, lots of fun, and very entertaining. And I also want to thank Kevin Moylan whom did the business part of the deal. You were also very helpful, and I enjoyed dealing with you. You guys all went above and beyond to make sure that the time I spend there was pleasant and well worth the ride. I would never go anywhere else. Looking forward to seeing you guys again when my husband is ready to buy his next vehicle. As Im sure we will cross paths during my oil changes. I would and will tell all my friends about this place, and my experience.

Kevin Moylan was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. His style of explaining the advantages of owning a new Grand Cherokee is what helped us to decide to buy the vehicle. Kevin explained the new features and better gas mileage which we considered definite pluses over the 2010 Grand Cherokee we currently owned. Kevin sold us our last Grand Cherokee in 2010 and the fact that he remembered several details surrounding that purchase really impressed us. It meant he cared about his customers enough to remember us after we left the showroom. Also Kevin called us a few times after the purchase to be sure everything was going well and we were happy with our Grand Cherokee. Sorry to say my brother took his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that he was having some problems with into Scranton Dodge to have it looked at. Well they told him that his thermostat housing was old and leaking antifreeze. TOTAL LIE! It was brand new! I had replaced it just 3 months ago. They never even pressure tested it. They also told him his ball joints were bad and that he needed the CV joints in the front drive shaft. Which means he needs a new front drive shaft. They had already replaced the front drive shaft in September but denied ever doing it. So needless to say he had them do the drive shaft and ball joints than tried charging him $1,900.00 after quoting him $1,400.00!!!!! I pressure tested his coolant system after he got it back and there are NO coolant leaks WHATSOEVER! STAY AWAY from scranton dodge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service Dept: Im always hesitant when it comes to dealerships and especially repairing my vehicle as I have not had the best experiences in the past. I called with emergency electrical problems and spoke with Amy. Amy made sure I was scheduled for first service the following day; I was lucky enough to deal with Tiffany at 7:30 in the morning who was kind, courteous and understanding. Tiffany and the whole service staff went out of their way (literally by driving to Stroudsburg for a part that was on "back order") to help and expedite my repair. They service department had my part picked up and installed into my vehicle within hours. Im so grateful to Tiffany and all Scranton Dodge Service Department for the courteous and prompt service. What a change from my past experiences. THANK YOU Tiffany and the whole staff!!!

About six months ago I bought a truck from Rich at Scranton Dodge. The truck had about 96,000 miles on it, so I knew there would most likely need to be some maintenance, but what I did not expect is the post-sale service the dealer provided. About two months after my purchase I experienced some moderate engine trouble that I thought would cost a small fortune to fix, but I told Rich what happened and brought it in the next week. It turned out I only blew a spark plug, but the maintenance staff replaced it for free. The next month I had another spark plug blow and they fixed it AGAIN for free. They did all of this despite the fact that my warranty expired. Now, every couple of months a get a call from Rich just checking up. Scranton Dodge is truly a dealer that cares about their customers and treats everyone like family.
