Scheduled an appointment for 9:30am on a Tuesday for an inspection. When I arrived I was told it would be several hours. I reminded the clerk I had an appointment he didnt care though. I walked around to some stores and came back around 1pm was told my car was next, ok fine but its already been nearly 4 hours and hasnt even been seen. I come back at 2pm still not done. Finally 5 HOURS LATER OF WAITING FOR AN INSPECTION around 2:30pm Im told I failed because of the rear brakes. Tried charging me $20 just for some bolts and said they would be here in 2 hours I had already been waiting around for 5 hours at this point for an inspection but the clerk did not care and said I should have came earlier. They also insisted my pads were down to 3/32 and needed new ones which was a flat out lie to get new pads put on even though I just did them myself. Im no dummy and didnt fall for it and told them no way. I paid for the inspection which was supposed to be $40 but was actually charged $54. This place is a joke its 2017 I thought lying mechanics of old were long gone but apparently not.

The workers Ive interacted with are very pleasant and certain issues they are capable of handling but any major mechanical work or anything to do with your brakes DONT! I carried my truck to fix a sensor and it was done in no time and no issues so I decided to give them a try again with my truck because my brakes werent working good but the first time they fixed it, it was horrible. They made me buy new drums, shoes etc and seeing as everything was new and ran me 550 it should have been fixed right?Wrong. Carried it back to rectify the issue and it worked good for a week then gave issues again. Took it back and there is a big white guy who told me that they adjusted my brakes to the max and it should be fine. Worked good for a few days now i literally have to step like actually step on my brakes and mind you it touches the floor of the truck in order to make a minor stop. I will forever take my truck back there until they rectify it or get fed up of seeing me because I paid 550 so Im gonna annoy yall until its done!

Very highly recommend - fair, honest and fast. My college age daughter broke down about a mile from the shop, belt had broken. She called me (in Baltimore) and while on the phone I used google maps to find a close repair shop. Called and they were great - told them I thought she could limp the car there - said they would look at it right away. 2 belts had broken, but they also checked out the car & found 2 front tires in dire need of repair (metal threads showing) and front breaks almost gone (but rotors were still fine...would not have been the case a couple more weeks). All work was done within a couple hours, and with their help guiding my daughter to on-line coupons - she saved almost $200 on what was (in my opinion) a reasonable price for all the work they were doing

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!! I was told I needed back brakes, new drums and shoes on my car that had 40,000 miles on it. They told me they"replaced" them when they didnt do that at all! (they refurbished or something) they charged me $250 to do whatever they did. Now eight months later I need brand back brakes new drums, shoes, clips, everything. They took advantage of me and I will never go there again. The owner at the Springfield location was also rude and very unprofessional! All he cares about is making a buck! I recommend going to the Midas in West chester! They showed me how bad and eroded my back brakes were and was shocked that I had just had work done recently!!!

This USED to be a good place to take your car. Now, however, AVOID at all costs. As others have pointed out, the new employee is doing a terrible job--I saw people who were waiting 5-7 hours and being served after people who got there after them! I had a simple tire-switch, and was told to bring it in whenever, only to find when I got here that they had overbooked massively and pointedly ignored my car, even an hour after I was told that I would be the next one served! I would have given it 1 star, but the owner DID call me back to apologize afterwards and offer me a substantial discount, even if I had found it for cheaper elsewhere.

Please make sure of the guy name ROB he has tendency to give you false information and when you reach to store he will not have your product there so guys please beware if you have few hours to kill then and only then go towards this store. Talk to his boss he is a nice guy his boss/ Manager called me and apologize. I just wanted to say people who take off from their work and come to this store to get service and then you are told you have to wait for 2 extra hours this is insane. What if some one had doctor appointment or go to college then you are officially screwed.

TERRIBLE .... Cost me extra money because they never Diagnosed my Truck properly from the start. Told me it was my Front Axle when the main big problem that was grinding was with the Rear Axle. For some reason they never checked the Rear Axle until 4pm after completing the Front Axle job. Now Im stuck on a Friday Evening paying for both jobs. Almost feel like it was purposely done. It was in the shop for five days, cost me $2,300 and it sounds and drive like crap now but I will never go back to MIDAS. I will say the staff is Professional but the service is TERRIBLE

I will never come to this location again. They rude and unprofessional. I took my car for an oil change and was there for 3 hours, i was told it would be an hour. I understand things happen however if i would have known it would be three hours i would have had the option to stay or go, or even have someone pick me up while i left the car. The worse part is when I tried to check the status of my car i was ignored three times and was finally told were working on it. I will never visit this location again

I had to replace my roter for my car. They replaced it but after few months there was a roter issue again. I called Bill the store manager and told him about the issue. He asked me to come in. His staff tried to fix but I guess i had bad luck with the first replacement. Bill took care of roter again and since I waited hours for it, he really took a great care of it. I will recommend this place to anyone.

Staff were very friendly and flexible when I changed my mind about repair work to complete. Wished when first told of an alternative repair that it would likely hold on for another year instead of making me worry if the exhaust pipe would detach within 1-2 weeks or a month.
