I thought the telephone representative was very professional keeping me in the loop on when my technician would arrive. The technician arrived on-time and definitively diagnosed the issue with my A/C unit fairly quickly. We agreed to pay the price to fix the problem (though very expensive, at least 20x cost of the part) and I was happy we had a solution. Unfortunately, once the broken part was replaced, the unit continued to not function, at which point I was left with two choices that included significant repair work well above what youd expect to pay for a repair, or to replace the entire unit, also for what seemed to be a very significant markup. I have to agree with the earlier poster who suggests looking around for different pricing. While this company was professional and courteous, the prices, and the fact that I had to pay $99 for an analysis that proved false and felt like parts swapping over real analysis ultimately resulting in recommending either major repair work that I would have to wait a week for, or an expensive replacement This left me really no closer to a solution and out $99. Also of note is that the companys blog suggests reputable organizations will provide itemized estimates, including line items for parts and labor, while each estimate I received was a simple total cost line. I, unfortunately, cannot recommend this company.
I recently had an “emergency” boiler replacement and Evergreen Plumbing & Heating did the amazing work. This business has top notch customer service combined with hard working, conscientious workers that will get the job done perfectly. Within hours of my first panicked call, a service representative was out at the house diagnosing and giving written estimates. The very next day the crew was out at the house and replaced the boiler from start to finish. Removing the old boiler, hooking up the new boiler and making sure every aspect of the performance of appliance was tested before they left the house. Roy is an amazing technician. The whole team that works for Evergreen is professional and goes the extra mile to work with you. From Steve the Operations Manager to Regina in customer service to Travis the technician and as mentioned earlier Roy the technician (works like a machine!) and the finished product is perfection. Thanks to this company we have hot water and heat (for the winter)! I would recommend this company to anyone who wants top notch craftsmanship with outstanding customer service. Thank You Evergreen!
Let me start by saying Evergreen is the BEST heating and plumbing company by far. Other companys should take notes. Ask for ROY, hes the man. After having numerous companys come TRY to repair our steam heating system in our old 1900s home, it was nothing but time and money wasted. Last winter was so horrible for us, we would cringe when the heat came on because of the loud banging of pipes. Its an old house other companys would say without fixing the problem. Then.. cash or credit? We felt defeated and dreaded the winter coming. Finally we found evergreen. From the moment the receptionist maryanna answered the phone we knew we were in good hands. I cannot describe how sweet and understanding these people are. The staff is excellent. THANK YOU SO MUCH evergreen. If u need plumbing or heating repairs ask for ROY. He fixed the problem in mins while others couldnt even figure out the problem in hours. I cannot thank you enough roy! You truly saved our family!
I had an emergency my water heater let go! I went to several places and didnt like the service or the quotes given or the time frame they could do the work. They said a couple of days. A friend of mine had given me Evergreens number a while ago, so I decided to give them a call. The gentleman I spoke to said he could have someone to my home within the hour, with a heater. The technician who came was Carlos. He was very professional and friendly. When he went into the basement he saw my other problem with my pipes, which were old and leaking. He said I should replace them as well. I did. He came back with Michael. They did a great job. Both of them were very professional and polite. They left the area clean. I would definitely call them again. Carlos and Michael are assets to your company.
Great experience with Evergreen on two occasions. Their technicians, Carlos and Daryl, were excellent on all accounts. Friendly, knowledgeable, able to explain the issues, and address them accordingly. Prices were reasonable relative to others (although everybody seems high priced, but thats more me being a curmudgeon). If you have plumbing or heating issues, give them a call. They can get to you super fast and get the job done. And they dont try and upsell. I was concerned about my heater and they took a look and said "listen, you dont need that." They easily could have said, "yea, we can do that" and tack on some more to the bill. That type of honesty gets repeat business and good reviews!
After many tries with other companies, I reviewed Evergreen and decided to try them. I made contact with them on one day and set up the appointment for the next day. The technician was on time and pleasant. He analyzed my problem quickly. The next day their team came and removed all of my old a/c system and installed the new one. What a difference from what I have been dealing with. Even the follow-up phone call was nice. They will be my first choice for all my HVAC and plumbing needs and will recommend them to family and friends. Again thanks for the great service.
This company is amazing. Called on a Saturday morning when my air conditioning quit in 90 degree weather and my regular company was no open. Great person who answered and they had someone at my house by 12:30. Roy was amazing - skilled, knowledgeable, great communicator and educated me about the system. Super efficient - go the job done in no time. And he could not say enough about his company. Really impressive. I now have a new hearing and air conditioning company. Head and shoulders above the company I was using. You cant do better.
We returned from vacation and our central A/C was not working. I contacted Evergreen and they promptly sent a tech. Over the phone they told me there is a $135 diagnostic fee that would be credited to the repair. Turns out the run capacitor failed and the tech quoted me $561 to repair it. I signed off on it but called the office to verify. I also checked the cost of the run capacitor and its about $10. They never took off the diagnostic fee but did reduce the bill by $56. Total ripoff for ~30 minutes of work and a $10 capacitor. Never again.
First called at 7:35 pm lost the call? Called back 7:41 pm explained to answering service Im in hospital wife and kids home with no heat took my info and said a service tech will call me for more info..... no call 8:24 pm I called back answering service said tech has the call he will call you back... no call 10:12 pm I call back I understand if youre busy Ill call someone else they put me on hold then said Steve is calling you now ... 8:00 am next day still no call !!!!!!!
