I brought a designer jacket with leather sleeves into Majik Touch for "leather cleaning". I was told that the jacket would have to be shipped to a leather specialist, which was fine with me. Skipping all of the details, the leather specialist was unable to complete the job and I asked for the jacket to be returned to me "as is". Instead, the owner called me (while I was on a business trip) and left a voicemail saying he saw a "dry clean only" label on the interior (non-leather body) of the jacket and could dry clean it for me. I didnt get the message until a couple days later and I called immediately and left a reply message, "DO NOT DRY CLEAN MY JACKET!! I will pick it up as we agreed before." When I went to pick up the jacket, it had been dry cleaned and the leather was effectively ruined. Smooth goat skin leather on a favorite jacket was now rough and full of micro-cracks. Instead of offering to have the jacket repaired, or paying me for the jacket, the owner has refused to do anything saying that he followed the care instructions. If you like the idea of a dry cleaner that ignores your instructions and makes his own decisions on how to clean your garment, then this would be a great place for you. I understand that mistakes get made, but the owner has not apologized or made any offer to repair the jacket or refund my purchase price (based on my original receipt). I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I will post how that is handled. If the owner makes an effort to resolve this problem with me, I document his willingness to compromise and let Yelpers know that this is a place of business with integrity.

Majik Touch is expensive, but I can live with that. I cant live with the inconsistent starching. They dont ask how you want your shirts, they just randomly assign levels based upon operator mood and sun position. I had several shirts laundered there and I was handed back the spectrum of starching. From this will wrinkle from unbuttoning to chest plate of armor.
