Okay, so. These guys are likely to mess up your car. A friend and I were planning a trip to Arizona for a while, got his transmission and ac serviced here before we left. Reasonable price for the labor and convenience. Seemingly friendly staff. However something malicious has occurred behind closed doors. I am not a mechanic but I am making an educated guess that the radiators water pump has been knocked loose. We took the car home, let it sit overnight, and almost instantly the next morning the car was overheating. Hadnt even gotten out of Nashville. It has never done something like this before. We get some coolant, put it in, and seems to fix the problem for a minute. However, in Amarillo Texas we realize that the 2 gallons of coolant we had put in was completely drained, so we put more in. Kept having to fill this thing up, everytime we stopped we noticed it leaking (like I stated previously, no issues like this have occurred before). In Phoenix were planning on getting it taken to a respectable mechanic, very frustrated that this would set us back a few hundred dollars. But only a few miles into Arizona the engine starts to smoke profusely. We got it towed to flagstaff and are waiting until morning to get it to a shop. There is nothing that this could be besides negligence and destruction of property on the hands of this shop. This is setting us back a whole lot of money that we do not have. And we could have honestly died if this had happened in the desert. Please, for your cars safety and for your safety, for your familys safety. Never take your car to this shop. They are crooks and will mess up something else in there just to get an extra dollar out of you in hopes that you will come back. They obviously take advantage of people who dont know enough to fix things themselves. I didnt know anyone could be so immature and outright soulless just to squeeze an extra penny. Absolutely pitiful. *shaking my head*

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! This place is now known as CAROTHERS AUTO REPAIR AND SERVICE. Has also done business as Teds Auto Repair,Teds Auto Service, etc., etc.... These people have had my van for over ONE MONTH! Told me I needed a part rebuilt which would only take 2 weeks. Turns out it went to their "parts distributor" and sat there for 2 weeks, He shipped to a place in PA. now nobody knows what happened to it. Said this part is so old they dont make them anymore It is part of my computer system. Yesterday. I found tons of them online...so frustrating. Reported to BBB this morning.

Went round and round with these guys. Told me one thing and they would find something else with it in the mean time and then it "would have to be fixed" so cost even more. So a $200 repair ended up costing $850. Also I know FOR A FACT they broke something else on the car that wasnt broken when it went in just so they would have me come back. DO NOT GO HERE. Guys are really nice but they are all on commission or family, something fishy about it all.

Overheating problem. First, they said radiator problem so I paid to fix. Pull my van out and drove two or three miles and overheating again. I take back and they said that head gasket was bad not radiator problem. I asked the replace new radiator and put old radiator but they said to charge replace radiator . That was suck. After that, I never go this place. Beware every body.

The store manager was extremely knowledgeable for his apparent age and was very polite and helpful. He correctly diagnosed the problem I described and he met his promise of when my vehicle was to be ready and my vehicle was 100% working order again; the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this facility.
